Tremolite (Or one of the Police Captains of Homeworld !)

Name: Tremolite facet-3x6f cut-2vz (but her surname is “Captain”)



Appeared Gender: Female (at least, she uses “she/her”)



Appeared Age: 30, something like that ? How can she tells ? The “human” age, it’s such an abstract subject for her, she was created too long ago, maybe 2000 years ago ? She lost the count.



Gemstone: Tremolite



Gemstone Location: On her left elbow



Faction: Yellow Diamond court



Corrupted: No, not yet at least.



Appearance: Tremolite is…short, a bit shorter than the amethysts, but bigger than a ruby. Well, despite her undersized frame, she’s way bulkier than most of the gems. A bit like a tiny jasper, or at least, a powerful jasper with a perfect gem, not a runt. She has an hard and well cut gem !

Talking about her gem, her hair are as green as her gem, a bright neon green, which can’t be mistaken when we see her among the other gems from the Yellow court. Shaped like a cube with some rebellious strands, it represents perfectly the hard edges of her cut, the gem on her elbow being as cubic as what she has on her head. Contrary to her nose small and round and cute, a bit like the shape of her face.

And oppositely of her hair, her skin is very pale, a soft, wan, greenish color, which contrast greatly with her neon green and dark green of her uniform.

Yes, her uniform, which show perfectly that she’s from Yellow Diamond’s court, something that makes her really proud. The bright, yellow diamond being on her belly, the color reminding her from the color of her own eyes, which are acid yellow colored.

Her jumpsuit is sleeveless, showing her muscled arms and legs, but she has gloves covering her big hands. Gloves where is a communicator to contact her team or her superior, even her diamond in case of absolute necessity (but she never does that, the pearl who filtrates every calls is so boring and annoying).

In any other words, even if she’s small, she’s a proud, well cut, era 1 Tremolite, perfectly shaped for the task we assigned to her, the task for which she was created !



Personality: Her personality is what it should be. Every Tremolite should be like her. She’s not her own individual. Never she was. She was only created to serve her diamond right. Nothing more, nothing less. Really directive, she has a leadership personality, it’s better when you have more than one hundred gems at your order and work as a police chief on all the Homeworld and even others colonies. She perfectly knows what she has to do, and she do it right, she hates when things don’t happen how she wants them to happens. She gives orders ; others must obey. She receives orders ; she has to obey. That’s simple, isn’t it ?

She doesn’t speak a lot, never smile, never wails, never waves. She’s a hard stone.

Absolutely conservative, she hates to see other gems not conforming to the rules of her world. To the rules and good manners imposed by the diamonds. Fusions ? Disgusting. Personality other than the one you should have ? Gives her nauseas. Being a runt ? Makes her want to laugh and destroy you. You aren’t for this world. So, she never hesitates to punish the ones who doesn’t stick to the Homeworld rules and follow the mass. Or even worse, if you deserve it, of course, she’s always fair to be honest, and is here to protect those who needs it. You’re a small and noble Sapphire harassed by a dumb and brutal Jasper ? She will be here for you. Pebbles lost by their owner ? She will hold her hand to them. A poor Peridot who can’t continue her job because the Agate whips is really too much and merciless ? No worries, the Tremolite, generous, will give you her help. Always protect the righteous and innocents.

But… every gems were created with a flaw in their code. Every. Single. One. That’s why so many of them followed this Rose Qwartz. Or at least it’s what’s she made herself believe.

She loves to fight, she doesn’t poof easily at all. We can say that she never poof unless forced to do. And even if her gem happens to be tough… cracks can always appear. And without poofing to recover by herself, she needs the help of the gems who replaced the Rose Qwartz. The Shattuckites, a kind of healer gems from Era 2. Small, even smaller than herself, and puny, they need the help of Homeworld technology to help other gems recover from their battles.

One of them is just… special. Even if they all looks alike, tiny and frail, with their long nose and their bright blue color with spots… She can’t help herself to be a dumb mess in front of her. Talking too much, losing this ‘too proud’ personality, she hates what she do when she patch her up. And even sometimes, fusions between two different gems doesn’t seem a bad idea. Wondering how she would feel to be… someone else with her. But it’s just some stupid ideas which germinated in her head due to this Rose Qwartz.



Likes: Fighting, leading/giving orders, protecting, rules, getting patched up, her diamond, the weaker gems who need her help, Homeworld.



Dislikes: Fusions, flaws, runts, tyranny/gratuitous violence, rebellions and the crystal gems, Earth, gems who don’t do their job, jovial personalities, gems who wants to make her feel inferior.



Fears: Rebellion in her own squadron/troop, Homeworld lack of resources becoming a problem, her own thought about fusions, to be broken because she failed at her task.



Weapon: Handcuffs who blocks gems ability and make their weapons unusable.



Ability 1: She can create and manipulate electricity to poof some gems.



Ability 2: No second-ability



History: What can we tell about her story ? Nothing much. Since she was ejected from her hole in the Kindergarten, she just followed the orders and keep the peace on Homeworld. Someone a bit too rebelious or suspected of wanting to rally to Rose Qwartz cause ? Poofed and brought to the executor to break their gem. Helping to start new colonies on other planets,  helping the gems who need personnal protections or too weak to defend themselves. That's the role as a police officer on Homeworld. 
After the Rose Qwartz rebellion, they were all poofed and bubbled. And they started to replace them with some other healing gems, like the Shattuckite. That's what started to mess with her righteous mind. The first time she met an Era 2 Shattuckite to patch her up, she couldn't resist to this puny frame of them. Wanting to take this little gem in her arms and spin her around, wondering what a fusion would be like. Not for the power, not for the new sensations, just, it's the first time she wanted to be one with one another gem. But she repel this kind of thoughts, she hates them, she ignores them. That's all and she lives perfectly like this. Getting patched up being the only moment where she doesn't need to be what she was made for. The only moment she allows herself to... feel. 


Character Arcs: 

I really would like to start with a cold heart character until she met her medical partner. 

Then she would start to question herself about fusions. 

Accept that it should not be so bad, especially if it make the gems stronger.

Shattuckite would open her mind about Rose Qwartz, and they would try to escape Homeworld together.

And maybe end it by Tremolite being corrupted ?

Hey! I'm here to give you some suggestions so you can polish up your app before NJ (the admin) gives you an official assessment!

There are some grammar mistakes, but your English is still pretty good! I understood what you were saying well I'm sure as you keep learning English, you'll be able to polish your grammar here. 

As for your weapon, you can specify that it blocks, but keep in mind that you can't disable other player's weapons unless they have agreed to go along with that. 

I'd like to see more parameters on your ability 1; things like range, area of effect, duration of effect. Does the ability need to recharge? How long do the effects last? Etc. You can't instantly poof other people's characters, so you'll have to explain what kind of effect it will have on other PCs so they can come up with a counter strategy to your attack.

As mentioned by Paddy, more detials in regards to weapons and the ability, destablisation lighting is always tricky to balance so the more info the better.
