"Beach City... It has been some time hasn't it." Fulgurite spoke to himself softly as he stood on the outskirts of the city. Things had changed but only ever so slight since his last time here. A few building had been worked on, the docks repaired, and the whole feel of the town was different. Fulgurite took in a deep breath of the salty sea air and smiled softly. He remembered the scent fondly as he adjusted his coat before slowly strolling into the city proper. He had disappeared and left the town behind a few years ago, needing to work on something, or so he said to himself to justify disappearing. It's doubtful anyone I know is still around, but things should still be as interesting... I hope... Fulgurite mused to himself as he walked through the town. Remembering the way through everything quiet well and intentionally taking a few side paths to see if a few restaurants or food stands that he enjoyed were still in their spots.
"Seems my time away has been a bit more drastic around here than I thought." Fulgurite let out a soft sigh as he realized very little actually stayed where he remembered but that was to be expected. Nothing stays the same, does it. He thought as he tracked down somewhere on the beach front that sold churros, wanting to enjoy an old memory from before he look his leave. After acquiring his sugary treat he made his way to the beach front and stopped just far enough in that the water barely grazed the front of his boots as the waves rolled in. He ate slowly, staring out at the horizon as he chewed, taking time to sit and think about nothing. A surprisingly difficult task for his partially mechanized mind. But he prevailed and simply took enjoyment in his treat and returning to the comfort that came from the small wonder that is Beach City.
