There was a stir on the moonbase as many gems seem to depart from the main building, the conference, the conference to decide how the rebels shall be dealt with had been concluded, the space around the moon once again lit up as like a great heard many ships began rocketing away, in only a few short days they would be nothing but a glint in the sky, before flashing out of existence one by one as they completed the trip back home. Despite this, some ships still remained, steadfast and resting on the lunar service, guards flanking both sides and doors open and ready to welcome gems. Welcome gems to what you may ask?
Well nothing but a grand intercourt ball. Held in Homeworld’s great halls and extending to the expansive courtyards around it, the first intercourt ball held since the lustrous Pink Diamond Left to establish her own colony many, many centuries ago. An ultimate show of power, an ultimate show of unconcern towards the rebels.
The message like before would be the same, be it video, letter or message those chosen had received their invitations, huge parts of each gems courts would be requested to attend to this ball, a ball held in the presence of the magnanimous Diamonds.
The Atmosphere was excitable all around, for many gems this would be the first time attending a ball, for many more this would be the first time even seeing their Diamond. The worry and concern of the rebellion almost completely lost in comparison to the stir this ball will cause.
All those in attendance though may not be what they seem, perhaps there may be those not completely aligned to homeworld that have infiltrated the event, and while it would be insane for a rebel to make a scene at the ball, considering the legion of guards and presence of the diamonds, perhaps a more understated approach could be used, perhaps the casual atmosphere would encourage gems to be looser with secrets, perhaps what could be seen as harmless mingling could help the rebels gather intelligence on what the Gem Empire is planning for them. Afterall no one would ever suspect that the rebels would dare infiltrate an event and stand right under the Diamonds noses. Although if you are more of a well known rebel or traitor, well, shapeshifting yourself to look a little different from the 'Wanted' posters may not go amiss.

If the flavour text did not already give it away, at the end of the Diamonds Task Force Thread, Pink Diamond announced an Intercourt ball in celebration of their inevitable victory. This would be an event hosted in the Homeworld section of the site, a casual non-combat event that allows user to mingle and interact in the setting of a ball. Crystal Gems could also potentially sneak into the ball, providing a rare opportunity for Crystal Gems and Homeworld gems to speak in a non-aggressive situation as, of course, none would suspect the gem they are speaking to, is a rebel. The event in question has no intended end goal, it’s just meant to be as mentioned a little discussion thread that allows user to interact with each other or even NPC some members of the other courts. A prelude to bigger events to come.

Update:
With 9 members present and accounted the turn up was larger then i expected, because of this and because a single thread of 9 gems may get bloated im tweaking stuff slightly. Instead of a singular thread for the Event i shall instead create a dedicated section in Homeworld, allowing gems to break off into smaller scale threads if needed ontop of the master ball Thread.
