Name: Aquamarine Facet-4A2I Cut-2CL (goes by Aquamarine or 2CL/CL when more convenient)
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: Fairly difficult to determine accurately due to her small size but very youthful
Gemstone: Cat's Eye Aquamarine (Cabochon teardrop)
Gemstone Location: Right thigh
Faction: Homeworld
Corrupted: No
Appearance:
A gem of small stature, Aquamarine stands at only about 70 cm tall. Her round face is framed by turquoise hair that extends upwards to form a crescent shape on the crown of her head. Her eyes are similar shade as her hair and exhibit a chatoyancy effect identical to what she has on her gem. In brightly lit environments Aquamarine’s pupils have distinct white slits in them, however when it’s dark, they are mostly white as the slits expand, giving her an eerie look.
Her attire closely resembles the uniform that many Aquamarines wear, however, due to her gem’s placement, instead of a dress, she has opted for a pair of white pants and a dress shirt in addition to her light blue vest which has a long coat-tail that splits into two and reaches past her kneecaps on the backside. She also wears a pair of navy-blue boots that reach up to her thighs as well as long, white gloves which cover up most of her arms.
Aquamarine’s pair of insect-like water wings flap fast enough to leave behind an afterimage, but luckily this results in only a few stray droplets at best which means those in her vicinity don’t have to worry about getting drenched by the excessive flapping of her wings.

Personality:
Aquamarine is a gem dedicated to Homeworld and her fellow gems. She believes that with her aristocratic position comes responsibility for her lessers and she has a compassionate disposition towards most gems regardless of their social standing. She is soft-spoken but by no means shy and enjoys the company of like-minded people. Her world view is rather narrow however, and she is used to gems who fit the mold. Those who somehow differ from the norm frustrate her to no end as she has trouble trying to figure out how to interact with such individuals.
Loyal to a fault, Aquamarine’s blind trust in Homeworld and everything it stands for means she never developed into a very critical thinker and she generally follows orders without question. She has a strong sense of honor, which makes her unlikely to lie or break her word unless she deems she absolutely has to. She is also very reluctant to raise her weapon against a gem who cannot fight back. During over the two centuries Aquamarine has existed, she hasn’t had to deal with any major obstacles which means she never learned to handle failure all that well and due to this she gets easily frustrated and irritable when she struggles. She is used to getting things her way, or her Diamond’s way, but those two are often one and the same as far as Aquamarine is concerned.

Weapon: Microgravity whip
Aquamarine is able to summon a two meter long whip out of her gem. The whip, when manually activated, has the effects of gravity greatly reduced on it, making it float upwards while imposing this same effect upon what it is wrapped around. The gravity alteration effects will last for the duration of one post after which it will have a cooldown of two as it recharges.
The effects extends to a limited area from where the whip is wrapped around, for example, if the whip was wrapped around a gem's limb, only the limb in question would be affected, making it so light that it would be difficult to utilize it effectively. In the case that the whip is in touch with a wider area around a gem (e.g. waist, torso), the target would become light enough for Aquamarine to throw. The gravity alteration starts meeting its limits with large fusions who are well over the size of what a normal gem can reach in mass and height (e.g. Opal sized). In those cases the effects would be strong enough to make a limb light enough for Aquamarine to, for example, upset the gem's balance, but moving the weight of the whole fusion would be impossible for her. Even larger fusions on the other hand have enough mass that Aquamarine wouldn't be able to match the strength that a massive fusion's limb can muster even with the help of gravity alteration.
The whip emits a gentle light blue glow whenever it is charged with the ability to manipulate gravity but the glow fades away when its energy source is depleted, revealing the weapon's pure white color from underneath.
Abilities:
Ability 1: Water wings
Aquamarine can create a pair of water wings on her back. They allow her to perform agile and fast movements in the air akin to what you would expect a small bird to be capable of.
Ability 2: Slit pupils
Aquamarine’s slit pupils grant her an excellent night vision and peripheral vision as well as an exceptional short-distance sight. She is able to notice very small movements and details within 6 meters of herself. Her eyes adjust fast to the dark as her pupils let in a considerable amount of light when light sources are scarce. However, flashes of light often prove to be an annoyance to her in dimly lit environments for this very reason and they are more disorienting to her than to your average gem.
Fusions: None
History:
Aquamarine emerged on one of Blue Diamond’s colonies 240 years ago. Her duties have been closely tied to taking care of business the blue monarch is above of attending to herself but which she considers important enough that she is unwilling to entrust it to a lower caste gem. Although Aquamarine would occasionally leave to run errands on Blue Diamond’s behalf on various colonies, she’s been rather tightly tethered to Homeworld, having spent most of her life in an environment where the Diamond Authority’s influence is at its strongest and where there is little room for individuality. Life in the heart of Homeworld is what she knows best, and she finds comfort in the orderly lifestyle it provides. The conflicts across the universe have always felt like a very distant concept to her, however, this is about to change as Blue Diamond has ordered Aquamarine to be of assistance to Pink Diamond on planet Earth. Despite not being exactly thrilled by the notion of having to leave Homeworld behind for the unforeseeable future, she is determined to help bring back order to the colony that’s been plagued by the rebellion and corruption for long enough.

Likes:
- Consistency
- Order
- Cleanliness
Dislikes:
- Surprises
- Harming a defenseless gem
- Unruliness
Fears:
- Running into a rebel she used to consider an ally. For Aquamarine, allies and Homeworld have always been two inseparable concepts and a situation where that was no longer the case would cause her inner turmoil.
- Organic life forms bigger than her in size.

Character Arcs:
- Surviving the culture shock that is planet Earth.
- Never in her life has Aquamarine thought that she might be interested in things that don't involve other gems or her duties. The visits she makes to Earth from the Moon Base will enable her to explore herself and develop new personal interests.
- There are many different kinds of gems stationed on Earth. Exposure to these individuals will eventually make her more open-minded.
