It was decided. After talking with the mysterious Sapphire, Light at some point found his companion. He also told him about the change of plans, Fulgurite agreed, but Light had a feeling that it wasn't the last time they talked about it.
They were both on their way to the facility, after leaving the palace Light took the device with a map out of his gem. Because of the event the whole planet seemed empty, only some less important gems here and there. It was safe to activate the machine, the blue holo-map helped heroes on navigating on the complicated Homeworld alleys. He already missed Earth.
Pearl decided to break the unbearable silence. "Sooo... Uhhh... we should be close to the meeting point according to the map. This Sapphire really prepared herself, I wonder how much she actually knows about us." He avoided the eye contact, He was looking at the map instead "You know, I am glad you trusted me on this one, I really am. But honestly, I start to wonder if I should trust her myself. It is not like they are not any gems that only wish to see our shards scattered everywhere." His tone was now a bit more melancholic "There are so many people in this universe that we shouldn't trust... I had to learn it the hard way."
"There are so many people in this universe that we shouldn't trust... I had to learn it the hard way." Fulgurite had spent a significant portion of his attendance at the ball doing as much reconnaissance as possible. Tried to keep a low profile and made few waves among the party goers. Unfortunately on his end had learned almost nothing and got so focus on trying to get any info he could he hadn't initially noticed Light's disappearance. When they returned and informed him that a Sapphire had known who they were and what they were planning he almost broke into a panic. If one of them knew then who know what other psychics among the Diamonds courts had knowledge of their presence. It took a minute to wind himself back down but Fulgurite was staying on edge. He agreed to the meeting because it wouldn't have made any sense for them to be ambushed away from the ball. If this gem they were meeting had any malicious intent they would have acted on it already.
"I understand my friend. This situation is a very serious and potentially detrimental to life and limb. But going at this together is gonna provide us the best chance at success. I do apologize for my silence on this excursion. I've been working out something in my head as a preventive defense measure in case things go sour with meeting this Sapphire. I don't doubt your faith in them but we've got nothing but cards stacked against us. But if this goes well. We might be able to turn things far more in our favor than I initially believed." Fulgurite took a deep breath and sighed. For the duration of the Ball he had to suppress his learned habit of breathing and other 'human' qualities he had adapted from living on Earth for so long to blend in. He still had no need to but a quick breath gave him more relief than it would most others. He keep his mind focused on the task at hand as well as programming a massive project in the back of his mind as they walked.

The Area around was isolated, quiet, not a drone in the sky or a soldier on the ground. While not the deepest subterrain of Homeworld the area still seemed to not quite be on the upper levels of Homeworld, while the sky was viewable it was nearly completely encroached by large geometric structures, the buildings loomed over the alleyway, a layer of dirt, grime and wear seemed to coat everything around them, the slow and constant hum of machinery echoed around, like the slow breathing of a unfathomable beast that lurked below. Ahead the alleyway seemed to end abruptly, large and clearly disused construction panels and objects seemed to block the path forward, and for all intents and purposes they were cornered. The Two gems spoke quietly to one another “Is this is the place”
“They should be here soon”
“I’ll begin sweeping the area then”
There was a small woosh of wind and they were gone, scaling up the construction equipment and out of sight, a slight clang rattled through the alley as she clearly descended on the other side. The other gem looked around trying aswell to find the best vantage point, spotting a shorter roof that looked onto this alley; she began moving backwards and making her way to that building. Intrusion would come effortlessly, most gems were more then happy to let someone of her stature anywhere she wanted, especially when such a gem was a rare sight here.
The sky moved ever so slightly above them, time had passed, she had been waiting on the roof for some time now, her vision told her they would be here, but doubt began to creep in. She found herself checking behind more and more, worried of an ambush herself, they had been careful, very careful but it was still dangerous.
They were on time, well her time anyway, retracing the very steps she had taken about an hour beforehand, there was the two of them, and it seemed that both of them decided to trust her. She waited, waited a while, she could not hear what they were speaking about but she could hear them speaking. She waited until they were nearly finished, foreseeing her opportunity.
She was quiet, very quiet as she stepped off the building.Gravity embraced her quickly the ground fast approached her, but silently her descent slowed until behind the two of them, she lightly touched down the ground. The Sapphire barley making no more so a small breeze as she made contact with the ground.
Light simply noded to Fulgurite as he continued to move forward. He was glad that they were done with this small chitchat. He now knew that Fulgurite was ready for a possible bad outcome, this on its own made Pearl more comfortable. And they were getting close to the meeting point, it was too late to go back now.
He quickly turned around when he felt the breeze behind him. Air, wind, it was his second nature. Despides his connection to water, he always felt more in touch with the wind. He was gifted the power of wind after all.
His nails dug into the device and his posture stiffened, but he calmed down when he realized who was actually behind him. His expressions softened as well "Well hello there!" He tried to not be too loud. His gaze turned from Sapphire to Fulgurite and to Sapphire again. "Soo... uhhh... Fulgurite, this is Sapphire." His hand moved in a direction of the blue aristocratic gem "Sapphire, this is Fulgurite." He than gestured towards Fulgurite before clinging his hands together "And you already know me. Now that we are over with this familiarization ritual, Fulgurite, is there something you would like to ask our..." He took a quick glance before continuing "Our fellow teammate."
"Our fellow teammate." Fulgurite turned on a dime the moment Light went to speak and faced the blue gem that had drifted down behind them. His hands curled tight in apprehension, despite knowing Sapphire's weren't renown for their combat prowess, but highly doubted that even one would be able to sneak away completely unguarded. He kept a neutral look on his face but a sea of writhing emotions were boiling beneath the surface. "Pardon my apprehension about the entirety of this meet up. But even you can see why this isn't exactly a pleasant situation for any of us. I'll keep this civil for the time being and hope we all leave this for the better." Fulgurite took a slightly more relaxed stands and clenched his hands but crossed his arms as he looked down at the Sapphire.
"My companion here has told me that you're the one who was tracking me down but knew I couldn't be convinced directly, thus seeking them out of the crowd. You'd be correct in what I'm assuming was you seeing that approaching me would have ended poorly. More than likely I would have abandoned my plans and escaped as quickly as possible. You having known all this and my understanding how seerers such as yourself comprehend the threads of fate, I only have one question." Fulgurite narrowed his eyes slightly as he focused on the Sapphire, mapping her body to check for any irregular movements to try and make sure whatever her response was it was truthful. "What is so important about my arrival that you would risk everything despite what could go wrong? The potential shattering of so many including yourself for the potential discovery of betrayal."

It was the Pearl that had felt her first and turned around to greet her, dispensing with the awkward greetings that she foresaw happening, the Sapphire waiting in silence for it all to conclude. Now it was Fulgurite turn to speak out or more so towards the sapphire. He concluded with what she expected, that singular charged question.
There was many things she could say, could imply, but the way it was worded the way Fulgurite set it is made it hard to answer, if she spoke the truth it would seem as if she was brazen, uncaring or unware of the risks she took for what in the scope of things would seems like a minor detail. Even speaking of the truth ran the risk of deviating things in catastrophic ways. Her future vision was not perfect, but even she could see they were balancing on a fine tightrope of continuity, one misstep and her future would be worthless.
Yet the opposite was perhaps just as bad, to lie, to be untruthful in her answer, it would be revealed and her credibility to them destroyed, to weave such a intricate lie would be worthless, for if one thread was unravelled the rest would full and the blanket of what little trust they had would fade. They would never understand why she would lie, unable to understand the world as she saw it, the certainties of the future and the uncertainties, it was only a Sapphire herself that could truly see the shortcomings of her clairvoyance, the things she could not see, the destination far off she could see with clarity, but the paths to reach it, the path infront of her, her Vision was telling her one thing, but she knew, with this war, this rebellion that she could no longer trust it as absolutes, none of the Sapphires could.
The sapphire was silent, as if pondering what she could best say to the Fulgurite Gem. A slight bead forming on her head as she realised the ultimate and only action she could do for now.
“I cannot say” The sapphire spoke to his question “I’m sorry”
High above the other Gem had scaled back up the construction debris, seeing the Sapphire speaking to the other gems, she ducked lower, only just peaking across to watch the situation unfold, while she could not hear the conversation, she could still watch.

Light just listened. Fulgurite brought up a good point. It would be much easier to trust her if they knew why she chose the two of them. Were they really a good fit for this job? They both stood out, more then let's say the Crystal Sapphire of Flurry. What did she exactly knew about their fate? She did mention to Light that his future was... interesting. He honestly just hoped that it would have a happy ending. Not just for him, but for Fulgurite, other Crystal Gems and Earth as well. They all suffered already, but he knew that it was all just a beginning.
He looked confused at the Sapphire. Why couldn't she tell them? What was wrong? Was it them, would they not understand? He was slightly hurt, it felt as if she didn't expect them to understand. They weren't inferior to her, they were all equals, he should be able to understand! He knew he should, he changed for the better! He was aware, he was alive, he was free from homeworld tyranny, couldn't she see this? He wasn't stuck in this old life, he had to be free, it wasn't a lie. It wasn't.
The gem took a big breath. He had to calm down, He started to have selfish thoughts. It wasn't about him, it was about the mission. Perhaps the Sapphire had a good reason to stay quiet. And she was the one with future vision in here. He kneeled down again to be closer to her eye level, he wasn't angry, but his face showed a serious expression with a bit of worry. "How exactly do you want to help us?" He continued to stare at the smaller gem, waiting for his answer.
"How exactly do you want to help us?" Fulgurite couldn't help but crack a small smile at Sapphire's response. Despite the blatant lack of any substance, it was exactly what he was hoping to hear. “I cannot say,” the voice played in his head again as some of the tension dropped out of his stance. "Good, then I have some actual faith in what you have to say. Given these circumstance, if you had laid your cards all out on the table to a complete stranger then I would have assumed this was all a set up and even your clarity wouldn't have been able to find me again. Even as out of the way this location is there is far to many risk factors to give away anything concrete. But we do need something to go on."
Fulgurite turned and nodded to Light after they knelt down to Sapphire. "My companion is right. Still, I need something from you before we go any further." Fulgur turned back to looking at the blue gem before them. "I need some kind of finalized proof that this isn't an elaborate set up. Something that would show some kind of self convicting loyalty to our cause or even just to Light and myself for the time being." Fulgurite was far more willing to trust Sapphire at this point but the few words shared between them thus far was just not enough. There was far to much still too hollow about this situation to walk away or even really call this stranger anything more than that.

“It was that, but also something else, the timelines are delicate, even speaking as I am risks irreversibly shifting the future away from my perceived continuity.” She simply added when Fulgarite spoke about her lack of disclosure.
Despite this alleged test she past they were still, as predicted uncertain of her loyalty, while a right of silence may have been seen as the correct action, it still did little to prove her allegiance, and in a time of rebellion there is a constant wave of one side trying to predict the other, a constant and pervasive though that perhaps the stranger standing across from you already predicted you ‘tests’ and had as such remained silent on purpose. It was a dangerous gambit, paranoia sweeping through the ranks of both sides, the slightest twitch and your friends, your allies, your bosses calling you a traitor, demanding your shards for nothing more than piece of mind, for a clean conscious knowing they did their part, ignorant to the truth of the situation, ignorant to the fact they condemned their closest friend, while their General was already sending intel to the enemy.
The point was she was once again seeing this dynamic play out in front of her, one misstep, one wrong action and she knew she would lose them to a similar paranoia, and she could hardly blame them. The organics of Sigma 1 had a term for it ‘into the Lions den’ she was hardly sure what a Lion was or why its den was of interest but it the analogy seemed clear. They were surrounded by a enemy world, a world where the prospects of escape were thin to none.
“If this was a setup, would I not have units moving in as we speak, ready to capture and-"
The other gem, still hidden behind the mound of construction debris, inched forward, trying her hardest to overhear the conversation, her foot finding purchase on a less then solid piece of bar and with one small budge the thing broke lose “Shoot” The gem exhaled quietly but despite her best efforts she was unable to reach the bar before it dislodged fully.
Sapphire words were cutoff as a loud cluttering of steel echoed through the alleyway, from atop the large pile of constructions supply a small bar crashed down to the bottom, the gem atop it, like a dear in headlights frozen in place. It was hard to see her in the darkness, small in stature, another Sapphire perhaps, or more likely a overcooked quartz, nosing in on others business, perhaps they were followed, perhaps this gem wanted a juicy cut for informing Homeworld of rebel activity. It was unclear, but what was clear was she was here, she had been watching them.

Light felt a bit ashamed, Fulgurite was right to be skeptical about all of this. And yet Pearl made a hasty decision to immediately trust this Sapphire. As the time went on, he started to doubt whether he did a good thing by involving Fulgurite in all of this. Nonetheless, it was too late to change anything. Fulgurite retained calm, he tried to follow his lead and do the same. At the same time, he couldn't help, but blindly eat everything Sapphire was saying. As for now, he had no evidence that she was lying. and he just wanted to believe that she was truly on their side.
Pearl's face froze in fear and he stood up immediately. Unknowingly, he also took a step back from Sapphire . His gem emitted a bright stream of white light. There was just a pile of metal in front of them, but the stream moved up and stopped when it illuminated the newcomer "You didn't predict this?" Light said angrily under his nose, but he was probably more angry at himself than at Sapphire.
In a matter of seconds Pearl materialized his weapon. He wielded a staff, a bit shorter than him. It had a brown base with a texture that looked similar to wood. At both ends there was a wing like symbol that seemed to be just like some sort of reflective metal. He clenched the weapon in both of his hands as he looked at the gem on the hill.
Without hesitation Light ran towards the stranger. To be fair he wasn't sure what would he do after getting to her. He wasn't usually the first one to be ready to fight , but were there any other options? He couldn't let her go or they would all be doomed. He had to at least try to do something in order to stop them. His target wasn't exactly big, perhaps a pair of his holo-pearls would be enough to restrict her.
"You didn't predict this?" Fulgurite's entire body froze when he heard the sound and within his own head time was slowed to a stand still. Countless options scatter across every corner of his mind trying to figure out how to react. Enemy territory. Intruder. Betrayer. Friend in danger. Protect. Attack. Stand ground. Books worth of theoretical situations and outcomes came and went as his mind ran the numbers of everything that could happen and his best options all had incredibly limited chances of success. Getting violent would stir up too much attention and if whoever gave themselves away had company it could get ugly. If he let them get away that opened up far to many complications to even try and justify. Fulgur settled on the only thing that could reasonably get them out of the situation with as little issue as possible. And if it led into a fight he would at least be in a better position to defend himself. He was gonna lie through his teeth harder than he ever had before.
Fulgur finally dialed back down enough to settle himself and although in his own mind he had been working for hours about what his next course of actions would be, it hadn't even been a fraction of a fraction of a second in real time. As he was facing the Sapphire she would have immediately seen his eyes and posture change almost instantly as he pivoted on his heel to face the disruption. The usual hexagon shape to his pupils had shifted to diamonds and his movements were entirely robotic in nature. He faced the source of the disturbance and started to stomp towards it. "HALT! YOU HAVE INTERRUPTED A PRIVATE SCHEDULED MEETING ORGANIZED BY THE DEDICATED HEAD SCIENTIST TO THE DIAMONDS, LORD OBSIDIAN. PEARL, SEIZE AND RESTRAIN IF THEY DO NOT COMPLY. SUBMIT TO QUESTIONING OR RISK FACING THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM FOR OBSIDIAN'S RESEARCH. RESISTANCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED." Fulgurites voice came out more forceful than loud and heavily synthesized to match the robotic movements. The finger on his left hand curled into and open claw and a stabilizer ball projected between them. He kept his paces slow but deliberate on purpose to act as both intimidation and give the gem that had discovered them a chance to surrender before things got ugly.

"I didn't, don't" Sapphire began to stutter to the question, the corner of her dress freezing up, because what could she say, the reality had stopped lining up to her future, she never saw this coming, and it seemed the future she saw was now impossible. Regardless the pearl charged off towards the gem before Sapphire could react or much try to figure out what she could say.
The other gem quickly flipped and ducked down behind the debris, evading the flashlight quickly she waited until the Pearl had gotten closer, likely beginning to scale the mountain of parts herself before the gem leapt back up onto the top of it. Instead of standing her ground though the gem did something surprising, feet first she jumped down the pile sliding down the stack of debris whizzing past the pearl as a red blur and rolling to land at the base. In the action it was still hard to make her out, a Ruby, maybe, no? perhaps an overcooked Pyrope though, or even a quartz still.
“I don’t even know who Obsidian is!?” She exclaimed to the other gem realizing she had just put herself closer to the gem with very sharp claws. There was a low hum as the gauntlet materialised on her hand, as she spared a glance behind her to see where the Pearl was at.
Things were very quickly getting out of hand, the tightrope of the future they had been walking seemed to have snapped, her vision of the future seeming impossible now if she remained inactive. She desperately tried to focus in, trying to unveil details she could not see, to try and update and focus in on a new future, but it ended up as a haze.
“Wait" she had said, her own voice being drowned out by Fulgarite mechanical transmission.
“I said. Wait!” Sapphire cried out.
The air around Fulgurite and the area began to gain a distinct chill as the ground began to gain small fragments of ice, even Fulgarite's own exposed cybernetic components may begin to gain a layer or frost on them. Unclasping her hands she extended her right hand outwards and in a sweeping motion a trail of ice formed across the ground under it. Curving around Fulgarite to get infront of him like a Icey snake slithering on the ground the patch of Ice stopped a few meters infront of him, from that ice a 3 meter high wall of jagged ice erupted upwards blocking Fulgarite’s path completely from the other gem.
The other gem felt the chill in the air and focused on the Pearl initially she snapped her head back forward to see the ice walls that had been created between her and the Fulgarite gem, while distorted she could just make out though the ice Fulgarite and Sapphire.

Light froze. Was it out of fear? Shock? Probably both. Fulgurite didn't act like himself and the voice that was coming out of him obviously wasn't his true voice. He knew that his friend had those metal prosthesis of his, but he always thought he was was the one in control, not his body. Now he seemed like a quartz that just emerged from the ground, ready to battle, or like a robonoid.
Fulgurite also technically ordered him. He hoped it was all just an act and that Fulgurite was a really good actor. Pearl soon shook his friend and once again ran towards his target. He would talk with Fulgurite about this later.
He considered shapeshifting when he got closer to the hill. It seemed like the best way to get there as quickly as possible. However, when he was about to do so, he noticed how the gem used the area for his advantage and got away by sliding down the mountain in high speed. He wasn't able to nice any special features except for their red color. Pearl turned around at the gem that just got away "That is not good, I wasn't supposed to be outsmarted!" He said annoyed, but with a bit of admiration as well. What he didn't understand was why they were trying to get closer to the Sapphire and Fulgurite instead of trying to run away from this place.
Light saw how Sapphire used her ice powers to separate Fulgurite from the small gem. Why was she doing this? He wondered, something didn't add up and he didn't know what. Did she betray them? It was hard to tell from the distance. He sort of hoped that she was trying to shield him from the opponent, but it didn't make sense considering what she was saying. She was obviously trying to stop him. Because of the ice wall he wouldn't be able to intervene anyway. Fulgurite was on his own.
He noticed how Ruby was distracted by the ice. Without waiting, Light decided to get his ace out of his sleeve. His gem shone and soon an odd greenish aura covered his form. Soon he turned white and a second later he was just a few meters away from the smaller gem. This power of his let him skip this big distance between them.
Now he looked exhausted and so he took a big breath, a habit he picked up from Humans. Once again he used his gem flashlight to see who he was dealing with. "Ha! I have got you now!" He squeezed his weapon as if it was suppose to help him in some way. The end of the stick was aimed at the stranger.
"Ha! I have got you now!" Fulgruite had lost control of the situation, and had one of his only companions stuck in this loosing situation along with him. His lie failed, he was separated from Light by an ice barrier, though he could bring it down it would take too much time to cleave through it, and for the first time in a long time, he was scared. This was all a trap. You're on Homeworld and put too much trust in the wrong gem. His mind raced and went frantic. It was an incredibly rare situation that Fulgurite didn't know what to do or know the best course of actions. All the logic in the world wouldn't help him right now and so for once in ages, he wasn't gonna try and out think his way out of the situation. Time to see if his program he had been working on while making his way to a loosing situation was gonna work. Time to see how well chaos theory worked with someone who could see the future.
They say that and animal in pain will do anything to make the pain stop. Was the last cohesive though that went through Fulgurite mind when the program kicked into action. What he had been working on was a way of letting his partial mechanized mind flood with thousands of possible actions and have no discernible way of tracking which way would be the action he chose. With his understanding of how Sapphire saw the future, the one he turned to face would see the near countless threads of possible outcomes settled on him turning to face them. But even he wasn't immune to the raw power of chaos flooding his subconscious. He could only keep it active for less than a minute before it would shred his processing to pieces and leave him lost in his own mind with no chance of recovery. But he didn't need a minute, he needed a few seconds at best.
Facing the Sapphire, she could see that both his eyes were rolling around his sockets with wild abandon. His body was using the sensory mechanisms in his augments rather than his own sight to track where she was at. He started taking shaky steps towards Sapphire with his left arm outstretched, the stabilizer orb crackling loudly within his clawed and out stretched fingers. Through the infinite outcomes his mind was trying to press towards poofing the blue gem before him but trying to guide without guiding his actions was an exceedingly difficult task so his steps were haggard and slow. Lurching towards the gem with one and endless intents to force his actions to try and regain control of the situation was all that mattered now.

The Ruby let out a short “argh” as he turned around to a gem pointing a staff nearly right ontop of her. Sparing another rapid glance behind her she acted, her gauntlet summoned on one hand she spoke quickly “I promise we are on the same side but I don’t have time to explain” The air around her began to rapidly heat up and her own form began to heat up, in one swift motion she placed her hand onto the wall of ice, the area around Pearl and herself was engulfed in steam with a loud hiss walls began to melt down. The ruby didn’t hesitate, in one swift motion she unloaded a powerful punch on the icewall, shattering a portions of it down, rushing past the fragments of ice and water as she called out to the Sapphire.
To say the situations had soured had been an understatement, freezing up both literally and metaphorically in her actions the Sapphire was seeing the consequences of her own inaction, of her relentless march and hyper focus towards a future she now realised had not simply occurred now. Homeworld it seemed, despite her best efforts had rubbed off on her once more, again she found herself reverting to her old ways, latching onto a singular future and believing she was only a bystander to what was inevitable. While the Rebel Sapphire of current times would have stood up and been active regardless of what she had seen, she had fallen instead into the mistakes of her old self, not speaking, not acting in fear that she would displace the future.
Now though, bearing down the weapon of a gem she assumed would be an ally, present in a present where her future was in dust, she realised something, a misunderstanding of her powers, what she had seen was not future where she was not her old self, but instead a future where she needed to be her new self, a future where she was Sapphire the rebel, not Sapphire the aristocrat, a future where she was a master of her fate, not a bystander to it, a future where, she…. did not care for the future, and acted in the present.
Forget whatever future she foresaw.
“I was so focused on the future I neglected the present, fearing that I would change the future with my own actions I fell back into my old ways, hiding things, being silent, trying to become a bystander while i watch and hope the future is unwinds, I understand now that was a mistake, that the future I saw was a future where I needed to act how I act in the present, not how I acted in the past, I have lost my chance at that future, but it no longer matters, I am not binded by the rules of gem society anymore, i will create my own future, one that I will strive towards in the present” Her voice was calm but earnest, she made no movements, not attempting to escape, she stood facing down Fulgarite.
Her focus was broken though by the hiss of her walls and the eventual collapse, the mist licked at the boots of Fulgarite as he strode towards the Sapphire, the Ruby had cried out for her, but Sapphire remained, where she was, calling out to the gem
“It’s okay Ruby, please stay where you are”
“But if I don’t do something” The Ruby began
“Trust me,” Her voice was steady.
“Did you see the future again, did you, did you understand we all get out of this safe, please, tell me you, the future, is safe for-“ Tears had begun welling in the corner of her eyes, the desperation palpable in her voice.
“No, I didn’t see the future, I see no future, not with how Fulgarite is right now, but I see the present and that is all I need” Sapphire explained.
“Please, be safe” The ruby uttered, checking behind to see where the pearl was, ready for her own fight, if need be.
The Sapphire turned her focus back to the gem, her future vision a haze, a haze she brushed away as she focused on the present, focused on the gem staggering towards her.
“That gem there is not your enemy, we are not your enemies, not myself and not that other gem either, she came with me to this meeting, security, protection and another set of eyes, and so much more, we had split up though, she covered one entrance and myself the other, it was only luck you encountered me first, from there she watched us, she trusts me, and I trust her, I thought perhaps seeing her with me first up with spook you off, so I organised for her to hide if I did find you.”
The ground beneath her had begun to freeze up as a slight panic had begun to creep into her voice “If you wish to destabilize my form you may try, we are allies, we are crystal gems, I don’t want to fight you, but I will fight, fight for my own present, the future I will create, but I ask that you answer me this single question, what do you fight for? As a Crystal gem, as a rebel, what like myself made you turn away from everything we thought we knew, thought we were.” Sapphire questioned, her own hand tentatively resting at her side, the slightest snowfalls gentle dancing down from her frosted glove.
