The hallowed grounds to which many rebels called home was based on the cliffside close by Beach City. Overlooked by the great statue, it acted as a safe haven for those who resisted the empire. The calming sound of the ocean waves pulling back and forth on every rock and grain of sand made this location more peaceful than ever. It was a place one could breathe and reflect on their life without the worry of enemies breathing down your neck. No corrupted beasts, no imperials, and no pesky humans either. That is, besides the occasional daredevil human who ventured out here anyways to find out more about the mysterious residents of gemkind.
The warp pad lit up as an array of light shot down. Casting a great shadow on its surroundings, its appearance disturbed the calm serenity of the temple that had persisted for so long. Yet its arrival was brief and its appearance as quickly gone as it appeared. Although as per usual, with every beam of light that appeared something was either brought or taken away. This time, it had brought two gems to the location, betraying the natural quietude once more.
"Well, here we are. The home of the Crystal Gems." Vanadinite spoke in presentation. Her footsteps wandered off the crystal platform to rest on the solid floor as her head turned from side to side, examining her surroundings.
"I imagine you've been here before already, but I couldn't really think of a better place. This is the home to anyone who calls themselves a Crystal Gem, after all."
Vanadinite turned to face Mahogany. Her eased expression of a subtle smile was amplified by the glow of her eyes. The crown of red stars in her hair demonstrated well her allegiance to the cause she aligned with, although it now was defiled by the White Diamond emblem that she wore on her form's uniform. Vanadinite sought to rectify this as quickly as she could, and that was partially the reason why she had chosen to come here. Her footsteps led her to the Temple Gate, the main entryway which accessed the various rooms within the temple's domain. Her eyes examined it closely as various thoughts welled up in her head.
