The sound of flames hitting hard rock could be heard. Infact, smoke and fires were able to be seen. But it was only not just normal flames, they were displaying a dark purple shade, even incinerating the rock it was hitting! Magma didn't occur.. the stone only dissapeared after being incinerated. Normal flames would not be able to incinerate rock like that, there must be someone behind this sort of power.
"TODAY THE COMMUNICATION HUB, TOMORROW THE WORLD! AH-HA-HA-HA-HA!" a gem yelled. Indeed, it was a gem who was pouring the flames over what seemed to be the communication hub. She was incinerating pillars one by one with a huge grin on her face. She didn't appear to be equipping any weapon though, so she is technically unarmed if you wouldn't count her flaming ability. Note that the flames could incinerate the pillars of the Communication Hub, who knows what else it can incinerate? These flames might be able to incinerate another gem.. who knows?

((Gonna say this takes place right before the moth-thread. Hell, I figure in the last post or two here, maybe Meta can spot Magnetite and give pursuit...))
"What are you doing?"
Meta didn't normally come out to the communications-hub. As a matter of fact, it was one of a very few places she DIDN'T constantly patrol. All the same, she kept loose tabs on what went on thereabouts, lest someone try to repair it and actually succeed....... But this?
Frankly, Meta hadn't been expecting a Gem to try to destroy the place further.
She tracked the status of Hub itself, and when someone was messing with it, she knew about it..... She'd come as fast as she could when her equipment in the area informed her previously inactive pillars were winking out altogether. She'd had to leave Alex behind after promising to take him on a live mission......
That tweaked her britches a bit, honestly. With a gesture, the flames guttered and flowed in Meta's direction. She couldn't control this Gem's flames themselves.... But she could leach the heat off of them as fast as they produced it, or nearly. They were far hotter than what one would expect, which fit with the fact that they were destroying comm-hub pillars.... Excellent fuel for the fire that was Meta herself.
The warp stream came to life with light as the gem entered the comm hub. There's been interference between him and Peacekeeper, along with the other comm operators.
Schorl entered the hub quietly and stealth-like. He had to figure out who was causing the obstruction of the communications. He hid behind a pillar and saw that it was the gem terrorizing the city earlier.
"Why is it always the troublemakers" he muttered, "no use in hiding from Mrs. Radiation over here" and he approached the gems walking with his hands behind his back.
"Is there a reason for the destruction of the pillars? How is anyone supposed to use the remaining comm systems if you're destroying them!"
(If I'm correct this is after the city blazer thread in the town. And it's also after Metas secret was exposed)
((Well, this thread was supposed to take place a week before. But I'll change it to a week after instead.))
Thorianite stopped firing as she heard the other gem. "Heyy! Whatcha' up to? Oh, me? I'm just burning a couple of pillars, nothing much." Thorianite noticed the warp stream and Schorl soon after. "Oh, hey duude! Weren't you like, the one who like, saved that kid? Great times!" she laughed.
"Well, is great meeting you all. I don't believe I ever told ya my name. Name's Thorianunun..- Thorianumi..No wait.. Thorianite! That's it!" Thorianite said, in a excited tone. Thorianite started playing a bit with her dark fire, juggling four small fireballs. "Now, would ya tell me why you're both here? I didn't know this was the hotspot for gem vacation. It being broken and what not." she rose an eyebrow but yet with an excited look.
Meta raised an eyebrow. Why did she always run into the slightly tetched Gems? Did she draw them to her? Was she drawn to them? Was it some sort of karma? Yeah... Now that she thought about it, it probably actually was some sort of karma.
"It isn't a hotspot. We're here, or, at least, I'm here because you're wrecking the place. I don't exactly want communication with Homeworld re-established, but this place has plenty of other, more close-range applications. You laying waste to things presents a problem."
Meta looked at Thorianite sternly. She hadn't manifested her weapon yet, but she held a vaguely tense pose.
"I'm asking you to stop."
Meta wasn't just asking. As she'd been speaking, she'd been draining more and more of the unnatural fire's energy. It guttered and flickered around the pillars. They still occasionally cracked and popped, shards flickering and burning, but for the most part, the hungry purple flames clawed at the structures in vain, robbed of their deadly heat, rendered anemic and dim.
"Oh, hey duude! Weren't you like, the one who like, saved that kid? Great times!"
"And i see your still burning important things, like the last of the communication pillars that i use to talk with my comm operators."
Schorl wasn't surprised to find out that the problems were being caused by her, and was getting pretty tired of it. He only let her go last time because she apologized for her actions and stopped with the burning of houses. But destroying the last comm arrays was going too far.
"Well, is great meeting you all. I don't believe I ever told ya my name. Name's Thorianunun..- Thorianumi..No wait.. Thorianite! That's it!"
"Now, would ya tell me why you're both here? I didn't know this was the hotspot for gem vacation. It being broken and what not."
Schorl opened his mouth to speak but just as he was, Meta answered before him. "It isn't a hotspot. We're here, or, at least, I'm here because you're wrecking the place. I don't exactly want communication with Homeworld re-established, but this place has plenty of other, more close-range applications. You laying waste to things presents a problem."
"Wait, isn't that the gem who was convicted of those crimes?"
"Yes but not now Peacekeeper, We're putting the past behind."
"Really?!? She killed
t̢͌ͤͧhͫ̅̍ͯ̚̚ŏ̅̈̐̀́ͭu͑̽͞s̶͆̂͂͒̈ͪăͯṅ̀̂̐̌ͭd̵̀sͬ͝ of gem and you're let her ̢̿ͧͭͩͩ͗g͛̃ͫ͂̊̾ͩô͆͗̑̃ͦi͗̉ͦͥ̑n̎̽͗͜g̡͌͌ ͧͣ̕tͨȍ̡̍ ̢̐ͨͨͣ̏scotch-free?!
Schorl turned off his ear-piece, He still hadn't figured out why PC was acting up like this. He turned his attention back to the two gems.
"Like she said, You're destroying gem technology for almost no reason. So stop or there will be consquences" Schorl threatened Thorianite
Thorianite gave off a chuckle. "Now, now, no reason to get hasty. All I'm doing is destroying some authority property, nothing too bad. It's not like this building is ever going to work again anyways." she continued. "Let's all be friends here, no reason for any arguments or fighting." Thorianite said in a calm voice as she stopped juggling, the fireballs vanishing once upon touching the ground. "Unless ofcourse, you want a fight." she teased, all remaining flames extinguishing. She was still not showing any signs of attacking, but she was indeed ready to take a hit incase one would come.

((Wait, what? Schorl, you want this to be after the moth thread? Allllriggght.))
Meta looked even more annoyed.
"Nothing too bad? I take it you've never actually worked with tech. Your destroying signal-relay amplifiers. The collumns are what boost and focus signals sufficiently to get them to enter superluminal space. Without them it won't matter what's broken. We'll never be able to contact anyone outside this solar-system again without completely repairing the entire relay-grid."
She crossed her arms over her chest and looked as cross as the aforementioned limbs.
"And like I said before, even though they aren't currently broadcasting to homeworld, these pillars have innumerable other uses relating to data-broadcasts and general communciations."
"I'm not looking to make enemies, but I'm not going to stay my tongue just to preserve your feelings, either. Destroying a resource this valuable is abject stupidity."
"Urgh, fine Ms and Mr boring." Thorianite sighed. "What else am I gonna burn then? It feels good when I burn stuff, don't ask why." she continued, giving off a small chuckle. "Why would you want to have anything do with that horrible place anyways? The authority can go kill themselves for all I care." she sighed, rolling her eyes. "Besides, if they wanted to contact us they would've done so already. Both the space warp and the hub is cut off without any physical damage being made to them, a bit suspicious ain't it?" she argued, leaning towards a nearby boulder as she watched the two other gems.
She played around with a small ball of dark flames, letting it roll from arm to arm watching it constantly like being hypnotized. "Trippy." she said quietly to herself, not stopping.
((Posted because Schorl was taking forever, hue. Changed the order to match my post.))
(Hey, just because i don't reply in 16 hours don't mean you have to go and say dat! I have school and i'm trying to make 3d models of video game characters. Patience is life's greatest virtue, Use it!) MEHHH
"Besides, if they wanted to contact us they would've done so already. Both the space warp and the hub is cut off without any physical damage being made to them, a bit suspicious ain't it?"
"Okay! One! The space warp is cracked and is unusable to anyone and cannot be fixed without proper gem technology. Two, The hubs do have physical damage made to them. You are doing it right now by burning them down with your flames."
Schorl began to get annoyed by this gem, tired of her words.
Meta was also getting irritated. It was like she was talking to a wall. The Authority be damned indeed; Meta had no desire to contact them herself and had already illustrated the Hub's multitude of other uses.
"Did you listen to anything I just said?"
She looked around at the damaged hub. Multiple pillars had been reduced to nothingness, and others were heavily damaged. The floor was scorched here and there, and the superstructure of the Hub itself was singed and pitted in places.
"Impulse control! I want to do all sorts of things! But because I have higher brain-functions, I can use logic and reason to determine that acting on those desires is not always a wise choice of action."
"You really want to burn things? Burn corrupted Gems. They're a nuisance."
"Probably not." she shrugged, extinguising her ball of fire and crossing her arms. "Corrupted gems, huh? But they move all the time.." she gave off a sigh. "But, wait! I have an idea! I could just, NOT, burn things." she lightened up. "That could work, right?" she clapped once, standing up. "Yes! My new motto shall be: "Do not burn things up."!" she continued babbling.
"I'm such a genius!" she chuckled happily for herself. "Yes, I shall start a new life NOT burning other stuff up." she said, humming a tune as she walked towards the warp pad. "Glad for the talk." she smiled. "Cya people!" she shouted, waving towards the two gems as the warp stream took her up, dissapearing out of sight.
"Yes! My new motto shall be: "Do not burn things up."!" Schorl rolled his eyes as the gem began to babble, seeming to only be talking to herself. "I'm such a genius! Yes, I shall start a new life NOT burning other stuff up."
She began to walk back towards the warp pad to leave "Glad for the talk.Cya people!" He watched as the stream blinked to life and took her away to her location. Schorl looked back over at Meta
"You know we're gonna have to keep a close eye on her right?" He said to her, Obviously this gem was spontanous and would need to be watched in case she does something ignorant like this once more.
"I think I'll just throw her in the ocean. Right in the ocean. Maybe collapse a cliffside on top of her to keep her down here."
Schorl snickered at the thought of that happening to Thorianite, but he knew Meta wouldn't do that without a good reason.
"I was being facetious. I don't really intend to do that. Yet. It's a good sign she wants to stop burnng things, at least. Whether or not she'll actually abide by that remains to be seen, but....Something is better than nothing, in this case. And yes, I agree that a close eye should be kept on her whenever possible."
Schorl nodded at Meta's words before she flew off into the distance to where ever she was going. Schorl didn't want to call The Warhorse so instead he lifted his hands and below him a large portion of the ground lifted him into the air and with that, he flew off in the opposite direction.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show

*The "corruption" is being treated like a virus due to lack of info about it on the show.
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
