The Kindergarden was already a spooky place, holes in the walls of the giant valley like area. Inside one of the holes sat a small Gem, coverd by the cloak around it making it hard to see what it looks like. A soft sobbing could be heard echoing threw the valley from that hole, Zincite was alone... kinda. They had been resting in this cave like hole feeling semi-safe knowing no one was near them, other then the other corrupted Gems that would ignore them or try to attack them which would go terrible for them in the end.
Turning away from the wall looking out a face peeks out from the cave looking around, a very pale face with what seemed like tears streaming down its face, "Safe... we are safe.... alone and... safe.... for now..." They spoke to themselfs with a voice that contained three voices speaking all at once, it had been hours since anything had even made a noise other then them and this made them feel on edge because they knew it was only a matter of time.
Mangano was more on edge than usual. The Kindergarten wasn't exactly a safe haven, and she definitely knew that. She keep her nails dug into her palms for support. No turning back now, she needed to make sure no Kindergarten gems were left. Earth had taken enough damage. Mangano didn't exactly know the difference of good or bad, when it came to people. She knew that Kindergarten gems were pretty much bad, but she didn't really know they were Corrupted, nor about corrupted gems in general. So she definitely jumped back when she heard the noise, of the one type of gem she was positive was bad. Authority, you have to show that. Ha... "H-Hey...I know you're here-" She was going to say more, but thought a little. What if maybe...They weren't bad? All the holes were empty, after all...And she herself was left in her hole until they were all gone... "Hey, all the bad gems left! It's safe to come out!"
Zincite rocked back and forth, pulling the hood hover their face while softly sobbing until, "H-Hey...I know you're here-" Their head jumped up looking at the exit from their hole, "Oh no... someone is here! We are going to hurt them..." shaking their head a moment, "No! We will NOT hurt this one.... we need friends..." their voice was soft as the three voices spoke in once.
"Fine.... we wont play with them yeeeeet..." the voices got dark for the last moment before they started walking to the opening, peaking their head out of the hole to see where this Gem was. Looking down slightly as they were about halfway up the valley wall, stopping on Mangano, "Hello..." The voices called out together as they peeked out trying not to look right at the Gem.
If she responded or not they would back into the darkness of the hole to press into the wall and fades into it, then appearing at a ground level hole a bit too far back so now they were behind Mangano, "You went to far! Shhh... its ok dont freak out." They mumbled softly before poking their head out from the hole not looking at the Gem in the eyes, "Hi." They spoke again, part of them hoped she would run, while another hopes she was going to stay.
Mangano flinched. She had thought that the gem was higher up...Yeah, there's no way the voice could've went from up above to the same level as her...Oh well, that doesn't matter. She walked a step closer. "H-Hello? It's okay, I'm not..." Her voice faded a little, as she started to remember what had happened here. Her voice started to waiver. "I-I dunno if they did anything to you, but they're all gone now. All of them." Actually, where did they go...? "I'm not like them. I was sitting right where you were. Well, not literally, but...Well, um, you don't have to leave here, but you don't really want to stay here your whole life...Right?"
"H-Hello? It's okay, I'm not..." she spoke to them! Maybe this could be a good thing, "She is nice... but what about when shes meets... us?" They shake their head to ignore the nasty thoughts of what could be. Slipping back into the hole as she grew closer, moving into the wall and transporting to another hole thats ground level again. Peeking out from the new hole again behind her.
"THEY didnt want to play with us..." The voice was darker again but quickly switched to a slightly lighter tone, "They were mean so we got rid of them!" They peeked out again before walking out slowly still crouched over hiding under the dark cloak, sobbing agaion softly at the sound of her last question, "I'm not like them. I was sitting right where you were. Well, not literally, but...Well, um, you don't have to leave here, but you don't really want to stay here your whole life...Right?"
The last part hit them... "We... have to stay here, for safety." Between soft cring and trying to whipe away the tears with an arm, their pitch black eyes still avoiding Mangano, only looking at her when she looks away.
"I..." She looked all around. "W-where are you?...That's alright I guess, I wouldn't talk to me either." She gave a dark chuckle. "There's much more outside of here, though! Other gems, and people...Well, the humans aren't that great, but...The gems are pretty nice!" ...What if he'd rather a nice powerful gem be here for him? She sighed and shook a little. Mangano, knock it off. She continued to look around "Or there are other quiet, alone places! But this place is bad." "We aren't like the gems that were here. But that doesn't make us bad too. Doesn't being more complex make you smarter?" She gave a small smile, and made a teddy bear appear from her gem. She threw it 20 feet away, onto the ground.
Looking up slightly getting a vision of her for a moment before looking back down at the ground, drawing a small stick person on the ground with a single finger. The more this Gem spoke the more confused they became, most dont hold a conversation with them for so long and they were starting to feel slightly scared. "We cant go near others! Its not a happy ending..." A soft voice spoke out in unison with two others.
"We aren't like the gems that were here. But that doesn't make us bad too. Doesn't being more complex make you smarter?" This was a good paradox for Zincite... since they were three being in one body that means they should have more brain power yeah? Shaking their head as they tried to fight off a want to attack this Gem, "No! Dont wanna! But plaaaay time..." They seemed to argue for a moment almost forgetting about Mangano before seeing her make some kind of object and throws it some feet away from herself. Ignoreing everything else for just a moment they dashed to the teddy bear before stopping over it looking at it for a moment.
Reaching down to pick it up they hugged it tightly to their chest with light crying as they tried to whipe away some tears, "C-can... we keep it?" They asked still clutching the small thing to their chest, no one has ever given them anything... not something to eat or a blanket or anything... not even a hug so at the site of a small gift such as a teddy bear it mades them so happy that they made themself sad.
An eerie sensation crowded Fluorite's mind. It felt disturbing, but he usually over thought the Kindergarten. His stomach felt all tingly and a cold shiver ran down his spine. The area lacked life and especially life from Earth. The gems created are innocent, not evil once created... Still, something created by evil is evil, right? He shook his head as contradictions flew about. If they were evil, though, we can still fix it. Make them good.
Fluorite stopped in his tracks upon noticing what appeared to be people. He examined as the cloaked figure reached for an object and began to hug it dearly. Another unsettling feeling passed Fluorite, what seemed like a hope of harmony felt like a tragic ending. You're just being judgmental of the gems within the Kindergarten... Unless those are some odd Homeworld gems.
The gems on the back of Fluorite's palm faintly flash a purple hue. A clone had appeared and his solid figure dispersing into a clump of a dark purple gas which begins to separate and lose the darkness of its color. The gas was close to invisible, yet the gas had a light tint of a very light purple. One could notice if only minor attention was brought to it.
The semitransparent gas moved onward to the group with the Fluorite clone approaching. Once they had finally made it, the clone displayed a friendly, warm smile, "Hiya~ W..-I'm Fluorite!"
Mangano felt bad. It can't last forever; it is just generated from her gem after all. ...Then again, perhaps she could keep it up for long if she endured whatever pain might fall with it. She turned around, and gasped a little from the shock. Well, there are three heads...So it can't be normal fusion, right? She looked up and sighed of relief upon finding the gem's hole. Permafusion, then. Interesting. She gave a stern look at the new gem, and protevctively went in front of thr permafusion. She wasn't normally this way, but...Kindergarten gems.
(Just one head by the way O.o three voices together though.)
Zincite was content for a few moments, hugging the bear tightly to their chest. Fighting between being happy and then wanting to cry because of how nice this Gem was to them, but when the nice Gem didnt respond to them after a moment they looked up from the teddy back to her, their face still hidden slightly under the hood. Starting to feel awkward about the silent they had to ask, "Whats wrong?"
Turning to see a new Gem walking to them, not seeing a cloud of any kind yet, "Hiya~ W..-I'm Fluorite!" The tilted their head as the other Gem stepped infront of them, "Is she... protecting us? Why?" The thoughts echoed loudly threw their head before looking back down at the teddy bear that they were clutching to their chest still, "Hi... wanna play?" They asked, their tone growing darker after the question and right after speaking the question they began shaking their head as if they were trying to tell them to say no to the question.

Fluorite caught the protective attitude and had the clone tilt its head, "I mean no harm... To be honest I didn't think other gems would be here. New friends anyway, right?" The clone added a nervous chuckle before continuing on, "I don't care if you guys are from the Kindergarten, I won't attack. Harmony~" it had chimed. Fluorite, still being gas, shifted over the two gems examining them all over, "Harmony~" the word seemed to echo lightly as Fluorite added in himself.
The clone paced over, keeping a friendly grin. Fluorite shifted his attention over to the cloaked gem and tilted his head as the question was asked. The clone tilted its head, unsure how to respond when the gem was shaking its head. "Uh... It depends honestly. Oh! Oh! I know. We can share each other's name." The clone nodded.
((Oh, sorry, heh! I am best idiot!)) Mangano raised an eyebrow at the new gem. "Why did you come here in the first place, anyway? ...No, you don't wanna play with them. We still don't know how they are." She stepped back. What was she even doing...? She's not good at being in control. She is just causing trouble...Crap. "N-never mind. I'm sure you're good at judging." She smiled wide to both.
Not saying anything for a few moments just looking down at the Teddy bear he was holding, looking up at Mangano when she said, "No, you don't wanna play with them. We still don't know how they are." Dropping the Teddy bear onto the ground, "She does not like us... Thats smart of her... But... Wait... where is..." Their body drops to their knees clutching their head with both hands.
Shrouded by their cloak, their voices began to make an odd sound before turning into sobbing loudly, "D-DONT LET U-US IN!" Was all they could yell out before everything stopped. From under the former cloak crawled out a single puppet, with a sad mask where its face would be. It turned and looked around for a moment before slowly pulling itself up to stand looking between the two Gems, it was still rather short like Zincite and slowly kind of ran over to Mangano hiding behind her.
While two more slipped away into the closet hole in the wall, if followed the hole would have been empty other then a flicker of one puppet being pulled into the wall and vanish away.
The clone looked puzzled at Mangano's statement and sighed lightly as his question wasn't really answered. It titled its head when she described not to play with them and how not much was known about the cloaked gem. The clone glanced at the cloaked gem, still hugging its teddy bear. "Judging?" the clone raises a brow "Huh? You shouldn't use that kind of word... Don't go making assumptions-" He was cut off when the mysterious cloaked gem began to speak and drop to its knees. "W-wha-?" The clone sounded worried.
Fluorite and the clone watched and listened to the sobbing and the screams, feeling awkward. The clone's eyes trailed along as the sad puppet from the cloak ran behind Mangano and suddenly two more run into the hole. Fluorite, in the gas form, descended down and began to darken his color. The area of the gems was shrouded by the dark purple smoke now. Only a limited amount of light was available to see the surroundings past the cloud.
The clone dashed onward to Mangano and the sad puppet, "What's going on!?" it demanded.
((OH CRAP NO I MEANT YOU DIDN'T WANNA PLAY WITH PANDA. SORRY. Um I keep messing up this thread...I might need voted off the island. )) "I...I'm not sure what's happening..." She frowned and looked around, yelling. "I...I didn't mean it, I'm sorry! I meant not plaguing with this new gem, I just...Just wanted to protect you. I understand I'm not fit for this stuff though. Sorry." She smiled meekly at the puppet, not really sure what it is. Perhaps from the cloaked gem? She looked at the new gem and got nervous. "I'm really sorry, heh...I'm Mangano. So watch out for that name, I guess."
Melody: how are you doing? Are you going to make a character in here?

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
