"What a lovely name!" Bonedacious said to her. Ivory's face lit up warmly again but her body remained recoiled back. She smiled softly at him. He looked so different than the other gems she had seen back at the Kindergarten and seemed to act differently. As Agate continued to introduce themself, she watched as he attempted to shake Bonedacious' hand. When he extended his hand towards her, Ivory jumped back harshly, climbing up the side of a tree into the branches, hiding behind the shadows.
Ivory was still really unsure of the pair, especially when Agate mentioned the Kindergarten. Could this actually be a trap, were they trying to just drop her guard so that she could be captured? She readied to run away.

Bonedaicious retracted his hand quickly and sighed, "Oh dear..." He uttered, standing back up straight, it appears that has frightened the little one, this caused him to feel rather distressed with himself now, "Ivory, I do not mean you any harm, despite my ghastly appearance... I am not the enemy, I'm just someone who wants to be your ally." He called out, taking step forward. He couldn't afford to say much to Agate right now, but further introductions would follow once this ordeal was all wrapped up and Ivory was able to trust them enough.
He looks around, hoping to see Ivory somewhere, "Come out, Ivory. We only want to be your friends, little one." He calls out once more, hoping she'd hear him out.
Agate's hand jumped back as Ivory ran off into the tree, not exactly the reaction he had expected. He couldn't really blame her, he reacted in a similar way when he first met a gem. Hm.. perhaps this was her first encounter as well. Was this common? "S-sorry... I didn't mean to..." he shook his head. Perhaps it was best he just let Bonedaicious deal with it, he seemed to have a better way with gems. He took a look around and sat on a rock a short distance away and simply watched, a little bummed out. It upset him when people didn't trust him, it wasn't like he was one of those... things in the kindergarten. He shrugged to himself and pushed the thought aside as usual. Helps to not think about these things...
Ivory very slowly began to hear them, dropping down from the tree branches and landing near them. She looked up at the pair, glancing back and forth between them with her empty appearing eyes. She lightly clicked but as she took a step towards them she slowly stopped clicking and smiled faintly. Skittish as she was, she was actually rather happy to have such a friendly interaction. She moved in closer, lightly turning her hand so that her open palm faced her and placed it on Agate's chest and then did the same to Bonedaicious. This was a way that she had been able to first touch animals in a trusting manner, since her hand was open and turned towards herself there wasn't much she could do to cause harm in a his way.

Bonedaicious would smile, but he can't. "See? There's nothing to worry about, we are your friends, Ivory." He told the little one, he hoped he could get Ivory to lead them out and lead a conventional lifestyle as a friend of him and all those around her, but seeing so skittish made him think such a task would be very difficult, but as he's known before, no task is impossible, only hard, but never impossible, a human told him that once. "Now what do you say we get going to town, hm?" Bonedaicious asked Ivory and Agate, "I'll treat you two to a meal, my treat." Such an odd question to ask for a gem to a gem, since gems didn't eat. But it was all he could think of.
Agate didn't move as Ivory came closer and did some sort of strange ritual. At least she was smiling, kind of, so it must mean something good. She did the same to Bonedaicious so perhaps it was a sign of friendship? An odd one indeed. He just smiled wide at her and remained seated on the rock as to not look threatening, as much as the young gem could be.
It never occurred to Agate that Bonedaicious could be 'from' town until he offered a meal, but it made sense. Most gems use that area as a common meeting ground. A fee meal sounded great, not that he had too much difficulty finding cash (as he really didn't understand stealing was illegal.)
"I'd love to go eat, I guess you can pick where if you're paying." He turned to Ivory, "What about you? Do you want to come eat with us?" He gave another one of his big smiles and prepared to leave.
Ivory looked at them excitedly when they mentioned food. She never had felt hunger or a need to eat but she had learned the concept from the animals in the forest. For the bears and smaller animals, like squirrels and birds, it seemed to be a way to prepare for the winter. But amongst the wolves and predators, the hunt was like ritual for strengthening and solidifying the pack or themselves. Out of habit and longing to belong, Ivory had learned to do both.
She hopped up and down lightly, clicking enthusiastically, tugging at their arms, trying to lead them to a good fishing spot. This was the most simple and abundant form of gathering food she knew. Fruit and insect gathering was simple but not always easy to find, and hunting smarter and more mobile animals was abundant but could be difficult depending on the prey.

Bonedaicious nodded, "Once we get into town, I'll find a decent place for us to dine. Until then, let us depart from- Oh?" Bonedaicious was mildly surprised when Ivory tugged his arm, "What is it, little one? Are you trying to show us a way out?" Bonedaicious asked, "Oh! You wish to go fishing!" He chuckled in response, he saw she was eager to show him and Agate the fishing spot. "I have a better idea, what if I told you didn't need to fish or hunt to get food, anymore, Ivory?" He asked her, "You could eat whilst warm and safe within a habitat that humans call a diner!" He told her with a sense joy in his voice. Truth be told, He wasn't entirely thrilled with the idea of fishing at this hour or getting wet.
Agate was pleased with her response, she was finally being more friendly. "I suppose she is trying to show us the way out. Alright, let's go." He let her lead him for a while until Bonedaicious spoke up. "Hmm... Well if she's more comfortable fishing perhaps that'd be better. I'd hate to freak her out, the town can be a bit... overwhelming."
As much as he'd prefer eating somewhere nice and warm, he remembered his first time in town. It seemed like utter chaos till he adjusted. Best not to overstimulate her and risk another... episode like before. But, that was up to the others. He was prepared to go anywhere.
Ivory looked at the pair confused. What was the point of eating if they didn't have to hunt or search for their food Without hunger there was no need for stockpiling, it was just a waste of time and effort. So the idea of a 'diner' where food was just served to you held little significance or even appeal to Ivory. However the term town both intrigued and worried her. Would it be filled with more gems? Would those gems try to capture her or be as friendly as these two were? She wasn't even sure what a human was, it could just be another name for gems that she didn't know yet. But since Bonedaicious sounded joyful about it, she felt like it must be okay. She figured she could just escape if things went sour, so reluctantly she nodded.
She then echoed to them, "I'll... Show... You... The way out. I'll... Go... to... a decent place for us to dine."

Bonedaicious nodded, "You needn't worry once we get into town, just stay close to me and Agate." He tells Ivory right off the bat whilst following her. Truth be told, part of him was worried about bringing Ivory into town. But it was overwhelmed by his tenacity to show her how good humanity is, so long as Bonedaicious took charge of any problems that would arise, everything would probably be okay.
"We'll just avoid the more crowded areas of town with her, Agate." Bonedaicious tells Agate in response to his concerns about bringing her into town, "The suburban areas are usually less than crowded, so bringing her there shouldn't be overwhelming at this hour." He adds on, he knew just where to go, it was just a matter of getting out of the forest, first.
He shrugged, if they both wanted to go into town he couldn't argue. "Alright, lead the way right to a warm plate." He stepped close to Bonedaicious and followed Ivory as/if she led them out. His small grew wider briefly as he thought to himself something funny, what would a feral gem like to eat?
Ivory began to lead them from the forest, taking them towards the city, alternating between walking on all fours or just on her feet. She knew where it was from her travels in the forest. She had seen the bright lights and loud noises, but like most the animals she did her best to avoid the area. She only occasionally went to the forest edges into the town but never went in. She never wanted to risk her being captured or seen, so if anyone tried to enter the forest, she would use her sounds to scare them off. If this did not work she was forced to run away, but on a rare occasion she was forced to create her animal Light Constructs to frighten them away.
As they neared the city, she began to slow down and began to get even more timid and skittish, to the point where she would hide behind trees before continuing forth.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
