As he approached the communication hub, Flint could see that it was smashed with brute force. There were shards and pieces of the communication hub scattered about. Flint took out a small notebook and pen out of the pocket of his trench coat and began to write stuff down. "Seems to be smashed by a quartz or some kind of fusion. Nothing else could have damaged the communication hub that badly." Flint mumbled to himself as he jots down what he said. He started to gather the rubble in well arranged piles, just like a what Pearl would have done. He tried to see if he could literally put the pieces of the hub together. Then suddenly he saw another gem walking by. 'Perhaps they could be of assistance'. he thought to himself.
Bumble trod through the desert, looking directly forward. The warp she had come off of was hundreds of miles behind her now. Her honey gaze was affixed forward when something large and blue caught her eye. She turned her head to look at the Communication Hub and in the process, saw that it didn't look quite right. Her pace quickened as Bumble began to run towards the hub, her pupils constricting when she saw how much damage had been done. As her line of sight travelled downward, She saw a khaki colored quartz picking up what she presumed to be shards of the hub's ruins and placing them in piles. What's he doin' that for? He's a quartz! Maybe a superior ordered him to do it? she pondered to herself as she drew nearer to him but if he was on superior's orders, where are they? She shook her head slightly to dismiss the idea. Tch. I'll run into them eventually. She observed the quartz, who was now starting straight at her. She shifted her gaze upward and downward, looing for a symbol of allegiance.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
