Personality: To explain Azurite’s personality, some understanding of her history is needed first. Azurite is a gem whose gemstone was altered, in conjunction with approval from the Yellow Diamonds’ sanctions, to be able to draw on several shattered gems that exist in a specialized containment bubble in her chest. The experiment gave Azurite pools of gem-strength and stamina she could utilize to perform great feats, but came at the cost of the Azurite’s sanity. Azurite was one of three Azurite’s assigned to a specialized royal guard who served the diamonds for many generations. After a misunderstanding with her ideologies on a certain matter, she was forced into this project which was to fuse the shattered remains of her squad with her gemstone. Successful, her mind now works as if though she experiencing a culminate expression of just more than one gem, but not in the same light as a fusion.
The emotional state of the shattered gems would ultimately add to her own, making the gem sporadic, unpredictable and prone to strange or often unprovoked outburst. Azurite is an … eccentric gem, she can be a blast for some characters to be around, but she is also straight into loopy-ville and has more issues with keeping focused, maintaining a social life, and staying in control of her rapidly evolving and devolving psyche more than she does tearing a gem to pieces. Bred for combat, this gem will never stand down from an instance where she can swing her absurdly large sword at something. On command, this gem will hunt down her opponents to the end of the universe. Which is another trait of hers, her loyalty, she is loyal to Homeworld without a fault; in fact it would be to the point of loyalism.
Though not particularly good at these things, the gem loves to sing, dance, holler and shout about random inconspicuous things. When enjoying herself she can do odd things to gain attention, much like a jester where her more laughable and genuine-side can come out. Genuinely this gem loves her comrades, a trait of all three of these gems is their love and revel in camaraderie at its fullest. Upon first meet, she can be shy and quiet as she ascertains how exactly to get along with the gem she is meeting in question. But when she opens up, beware because this gem has a lot to offer and has no boundaries whatsoever. She’s spent some time on earth and has developed an odd humor flooded with human references she had seen by stealthfully ‘collecting,’ human goods. DVD’s, movies, it would be a lie to say she does not enjoy human entertainments-despite not really understanding much of it.
But understand, that if you are anything but a Homeworld Loyalist, this gem will absolutely hate everything about you and is dedicated in destroying or capturing any gem that stands against the Authority, the last of course being a final choice in the matter. She has a very vicious side, which if provoked enough can end in catastrophic consequences as she has thrice the rage of most other gems. She can be extremely cocky, hilariously so and has a kind of team rivalry going on with other combat gems. She treats Quartz gems different, for each different type. She can be rowdy and has what some would call an underlying ‘big sister,’ feel to her. Of course with her rank as royal guard she still has to hold herself with some control and etiquette when necessary and dominance as well. She is not, in anyway afraid to accost anyone under the orders of her Diamond and without one as well.

Weapons:
GLITTER-DANCE M.II or, “Advanced Berserker Blade”
G.D. is not a summonable weapon, but in fact an actual prototype technology given to her squad, which is how they stood out so differently than other combat models of their times. They can only summon daggers, so it was experimented with to actually give them prototype weapons instead. The Advanced Berserker Blade [A.B.B] was actually originally a form of transportation. The blade can propel itself on a built in energy unit. And, silver surfer style, the gem could ride the blade taking advantage of magnetic apparatus on its sides. Later however, after the successful breakthrough of the Azurite Project, the blade was enhanced to be far more deadly and wieldable in combat by the gem in question. The blade can travel at speeds that pick up with mid-powered vehicles and weighs a hefty 120lbs and can extend to an absurd 9’0”. This weapon would be impossible to wield, especially efficiently, by most gems. But due to Azurite’s enhancements, she is capable of wielding the monstrosity though not exactly perfectly.
As shown in the image below, the blade can transition between two sizes that allow it to take a more compact and accessible version, though greatly lowering its range, the weapon still hits dangerously hard even in A phase, but becomes longer with each transformation phase the longest phase being C. The thrust engine can be activate through a sensory response in the handle, Since this weapon isn’t summonable, it’s always visible at her back though in a specialized sheath and harness made for it. Small jets built into the sword also use a smart AI to help the gem handle and guide the blade through accessing small jet stabilizers in the blade.
Dagger, Stinger:
A simple combat knife in the shape of a KA-BAR Utility/Fighting Variant.
Zorn Overdrive and Furor Overdrive
Ability 1: Zorn Overdrive is the first batch of shattered gems to be augmented and attached to Azurite’s gemstone. By doing this the combat traits and abilities of this shattered gem are accessible to Azurite’s body. The original owner of this shattered Azurite gem was bulkier, larger and stronger than she. This naturally boost her strength slightly, enough to wield her weapon with some confidence. However, prolonged use of the gem-shards will cause its power to wane over the course of long battles, she will begin to tire which can be extremely detrimental to her attack strategies, as such, Azurite battles as a more hit-and-run kind of fighter. If she is involved in intense combat for more than 15 post straight without a moment of recuperation, Azurite’s body will take degradation damage for every post after, and until, she can recuperate her energy for at least a post, where her entire body will begin to hollow and lose vitality. If her degradation damage reaches 10, her form will release, rendering her inert until she’s had proper resting time.
Degradation damage does not heal until she's rested for at least ten post.
Ability 2: Furor Overdrive is the second batch of shattered gemstone to be augmented and attached to Azurite’s gemstone. The owner of this gem possessed the uncanny ability to shed a mineral dust that glitters when it enters the air and makes contact with a creature, the dust can have strange effects on gems and humans with the official account stating that, ‘the world becomes strobe-lights and all you hear is the grating of crystals.’ This strange almost euphoric effect can cause one to suffer from weak hallucinations, both visually and audibly. The effects of coming into contact with this glitter last for a post, remaining in the glitter will lengthen its effect until the person in question moves away from the glitter. The ability starts by Azurite suddenly turning ablaze, her color a deep orange and her hair a neon green. From the strange dark-appendages on her body yield glowing glittery dust that spreads slowly for a good five feet around her and lingers there for the duration of the ability, which is 5 post. After using this ability, she must wait through a 10 post cooldown.
Constant use of this ability without proper rest can cause damage to her body, if she is using this ability while in extended combat and hasn't recuperated, she takes two points of degradation damage instead of one.

History:[/b] Way back when, before the colonization of Earth, along with many forms of commissions from Yellow Diamond into creating more versatile and dangerous combat fighters. A group of combat gems were born, The Facet L500 series of the Azurite models. Though they lacked impressive summonable weapons, the gems had tenacious intelligence and durability in the combat field. Eventually, the idea to outfit gems with technological devices to further benefit them in the battlefield, became a slow availability, and in some time the three Azurite’s were equipped with greatswords that soared across the sky and were custom-outfitted for special engagements on earth. Among the three Azurites was Facet L530, L566 and L580. Each facet was delivered a special combination of weaponry which they became known for. Sent into combat using large greatswords with built-in thruster cores, they were shock-troopers that survived countless battles together.
That is, until the earth rebellion began. Azurite was one of many gems sent during the early manifest of the Homeworld Skirmishes to silence rebels, but her team was for once, out-manned and out-powered. They met a great defeat that day, L530 and L566 both were shattered;’ a consequential action less from their attackers and more from their allies as Azurite had purposefully drawn the two into an ambush that led to a horrible accident, Azurite L580 being the only one left, collected the shards of her comrades and kept them to herself as a request to honor her fallen comrades, this would have been denied in most cases, but her status at the time had some wait, and she was given their gem shards as a symbol of respect .
After some time, Azurite became disillusioned to the battles on earth and what transpired, whereas usually it felt right, destroying rebels, she felt their numbers were being cast at an ever growing issue that was developing just as fast as they were. How could this advanced society have so much trouble controlling and putting down one small rebellion? She openly expressed this issue after confiding in other gems how she felt. She was met with serious accusations of treason, and to make matters worse her outlook on veritable gem fusion irked the society deeply, ‘Let them fuse with themselves, long as they aren’t doing that crap to me, I’m good!’ But this was seen as association and though no official judgment was made, her reputation was thoroughly assassinated and she had her honor stripped from her, Yellow Diamond offered Azurite a second chance to regain her lost status by subjecting herself to an experiment, giving up her body and mind for her kind. For her newest experiment, she would elect to have the gem repurposed and her previous gem comrades included as well. Azurite, feeling it was the only way to redeem herself and possibly her comrades, accepted the terms.
The Gem Shard Infusion Project was simple enough on book, use a form of simulated compartment bubble and utilize a single gem as a catalyst to channel others. By containing it in this specialized pod, the rest of her body could form over it and exploit the energy of three gems, instead of one. The project was almost a perfect success. Except …
Well, her mind wasn’t in the best state afterward. Honestly it seemed simple enough to graft the shards to the gem, but the consciousness of the gems elected to establish their emotional outlet in the persona of Azurite as well. This caused the gems’ psyche to transform in ways that were strange and off putting. Some worried the gem would crack, indeed after some years, the Azurite of the present eventually stabilized mentally and was sent on her first few missions to earth where she hunted down and captured several gem renegades along with having ultimately destroy others. Her project was considered such a success, that her creator idealized that she would become a new grade and form altogether of combat class however, Yellow Diamond would come to elect that her mental state was her only issue but decided to her patrol many important and various establishments her and various other courtrooms. As it would seem, her loyalty was still deeply sworn to Homeworld and the gem continued her pursuit of trust from her diamonds, elected as an honor guard, she has kept herself in good standing with the Authority through her selfless services.
