Appearance: He is quite tall, as tall as Jasper. He has a thin masculine body, and his face is genderless. His hair is not short nor long, it ends when it's touching his shoulders. His hair also covers his left ear. It's pretty straight. his skin is blue, his hair is a darker blue, and his eyes are dark blue. He has a pair of ellipse glasses.


Personality: Bloom's most noticeable characteristic is his tendency to get nervous, even though he's very mature. His need to be perfect prevent him from being himself, which makes him pretty closed and hard to make friends with. He is very intellegent, and he brags about it a lot, and that causes the people around him to feel uncomfortable. He is selfish quite a bit, and most of the time thinks about himself, unless it's effects him, and then he cares. He gets scared often, even by little things, like an unexpected loud sound. His fuse is extremely short, which effect his social ability very often.


Likes/Dislikes:

+Winning, that's why he is with the diamonds, because they are the strongest.
+Being right, in a discussion, fight, or even a little quiz.
+Being appreciated.
+Cakes, for some weird reason.

*Fusing, he is worried that an other gem will control him.

Weapon: He has a light blue bow, but he uses it in a horizontal angle. This bow has little blades attached to the sides of it, which can make it a melee weapon. His weapon is not discoverd yet, since he never fought someone.


Ability 1: Solidify Light- He can transform light into a solid material, allowing him to stand on it, make a cover with it, or even use it as a weapon. He can create one object with it at a time, and then there's a cooldown (2 posts).

Ability 2: Wind Manipulation- He can control the movement of air, making a powerful gust or changing the direction of the wind, but he is not powerful enough to create a storm or to stop one. If he uses this too much (more than 3 posts in a row), he just collapses.

History:
He was created to be an engineer in Blue Diamond's court, and he worked on the kindergartens. He always tried to impress his surperiors. He loved what he did, he felt like he is creating life from scratch, and it very interested him. He was intrigued by how the kindergartens worked. He was brilliant, he was one of the best workers there, and some even admired him. Because he was one of the lead engineers there, and it wasn't easy for him to do his job alone, he got an assistant, named 'Olive Peridot', or just 'Olive'. Olive wasn't a great engineer, you could even say that she was a bad one. They worked together for many years. Bloom didn't like her very much, and he treated her like she was a pearl. He didn't really care about her, he thought she was only a tool.

One they, after they worked on a kindergarten in one of Blue's colonies, Olive stayed and continued working on it by herself, because she wanted Bloom to appreciate her. After they went back to homeworld and the gems started to generate, there was a defect found in Bloom's area. Bloom was captured and brought to Blue Diamond, that was very disappointed in him. She meant to shatter him. Bloom never felt horror like that. Before she could, Olive showed up and confessed her mistakes. She was shattered immediately. Bloom felt so scared... He felt something. It was new for him, since he always functioned like a machine, and never thought about himself or how he feels. After that was solved, he got a new assistant, a different peridot, that was very loyal to him. He still couldn't get over what happened to Olive, and he felt terrible. He thought about all the gems that the diamonds shattered, and the fear they must've went through. He never hated the diamonds more. Having no choice, he continued working with his new peridot, which was way better than Olive. He felt like he treated Olive terribly, and still, she confessed and didn't run away. He will always remember what she did for him.

The rebellion started. He wasn't aware of that, since it was the really early stages of it. He, Peridot, and a few quartz guards were secretly sent to earth, to investigate the kindergarten there and how it stopped working, so they'll know how to prevent this from happening on other planets. He was told that earth was abandoned for a few years.

You probably need some more to your personality, get into details, what motivates him, does he have any little traits or personality quirks, think of how complicated the personalties of the gems on the show are.


Same with your history, on the Roleplay their is a degree of story telling that comes into it, RPing is like writing a story with someone else and we like to apply that to your history, your history should be your past yes, but it should be formatted more like a story, think of it like it was in a book or novel, think 'could i see or imagine this in a book', just because currently your history is very brief, it almost feels like its dot points where your just stating a bunch of information and things one after the other without much connection. Which is a good basis but expand these details and give more information, paint me a picture with your words, write me a story with your history so to speak.

If you want to extend your personality think of it in the same way as your history, dont just state your personality, describe it, think once again of how someone's personality would be explained in a book. They wouldn't just say, he does X, he feels Y, they would instead add flourish to it.

Despite this though, he is rather intelligent and mature, however his loyalty only extends as far as it benefits him, his motivations and drives all being the same self serving means to a end, because of this he is rather selfish, uncaring even, of those who do not effect him-" So on and So on. In a way your basically fluffing it up, spend some time on it, dont rush it but just sorta think of it that way, its the core of it, everything should be written like a story, because that is what it will be like in RPing.



With your powers your compression ability may be a bit strong, you have no effective range and no limitations, what stops your from crushing a gem, besides you cant compress air into a solid anyway, chemically its near impossible due to the properties of Gas, Air will pretty much compress into water because that is the types of molecular bonds it creates, then at that point the only way to make water solid is to freeze it into ice. So it may be Worthing looking at that again, have it be you can only crush a certain material maybe.

better, its a learnt art, try to make a effort to learn it through RPing and stuff, it always good to keep gaining experience.



I know we are on a RP with sorta magic gems but i'm still a little eh on solid air, without getting too much into the chemistry off it Solid air cant exist, inherently air that is compressed or squashed down turns into liquid, its just how its chemical bonds work, its not something that can become solid in its traditional form. Are you super attached to the power, because you could just have it be that instead of compressing stuff, you could have it tie into your power and just be that you can create Solid light (Hardlight) constructs, same idea, lets you make platforms or obstacles.

cooldown for constructs doesn't need to be 5 posts, that's a bit overkill, do closer to 2, remembering that Post cooldowns only count the posts you make, so its 2 posts you create.


So wind gust, can he control the wind, or is it just like he is sending a blast of wind out as a attack. You probably could of kept your light dome thing if you wanted as a second power, it was up to you though.

Stopping a storm may be a bit powerful since wind manipulation is already pretty versatile, remember we dont want lapis level elemental powers as that is a little crazy on the RP.


With that in mind though i will run this as accepted once that change is made.
