For those who can’t see the images, and for the bits that images cannot explain, I’ll go over some things about Chevron’s Appearance. The gem stands at about 4’8” making her a rather short combat-gem model, and to add on to the oddity of her model, she weighs about 88-90lb’s give or take food weight whenever she decides that food is good. The gem’s hair, wings and smaller appendages of that sort, have a glossy almost crystalline structure that reflects light and though it looks like genuine hair or feathers from a distance, looks much more mineral-like up close. Chevron’s wingspan is a good 13 feet and 9 inches. This impressive wingspan is compressed by allowing her to wrap them around her waist in a monk’s-robe fashion. As noted by the images, her wings spawn from her lower-back, this puts less strain on the upper-torso and supports her weight and midair flight more reasonably than having them at the upper regions of her spine. Disregarding her abilities, her light weight and shorter stature allows her to power her flight speeds to impressive 69.3MPH, and can achieve a dive speed of 173.25MPH. Chevron’s eyes boast dark sclera and often the pupils constrict to almost invisible portions, a sign she is utilizing her honed vision to its maximum.
Personality: Chevron’s temperament could be marked in a few words, shy, thoughtful of other’s and in a constant awe of the evolving world around her. On a positive note, her shyness shouldn’t be taken as a sign of weak-will, the gem’s resolution is actually one of her strongest traits when she is aware of it and is to be known for being the one willing to attack any challenge in front of her as long as she has the drive and reasons to do so. Intelligent, and lacking little wit in the sense, she is hard to fool when it comes to being misled and when she meets other’s she feels she can truly open up to, she shows hearty side, appreciative of life, her friends and her values.
However, like every person, her bad traits do show here and then. As said she is shy and this shyness can leave other’s to think she has a neutral stance to almost everything around her, when it’s really the fact she suffers from social anxiety and finds it difficult to make remarks about issues when necessary. Towards those she dislikes, or doesn't know, she can even come off as cold and shows a disturbing tendency to place herself where she can be a nosy as possible, this often translates to her being easily distracted by the stimuli of the world around her as well becoming deeply immersed in even some of the smallest things. She’s also willing to openly complain about things and may do so a bit too much.
Another quirk about Chevron, or less a quirk of her personality—but more in the way she speaks is that her creator—a rather ingenious gem-designer—manage to somehow program into this gem an accent, Chevron sounds almost as if though she has aFrench accent, and even uses the French language at times in place of surnames and much more. Apparently, her creator did this to improve her ‘cuteness,’ and ‘homeliness.”

Sagittarius is a full-body, composite drawn, laser-based crystalline strong-bow. The massive bow fires energy bolts summoned by Chevron’s own will, these energy bolts often being referred to as gungnirs fly fast and hard like spear-shaped bolts that can travel long distances and hit with terrifying results. The massive draw weight of this bow means a few things, Chevron can fire gungnirs at an 200 feet, little more than half a football field. However, with such a terrifying draw weight, such a weapon is impossible to quickdraw, it takes two post to draw this immense bow to its essential firing draw-weight making it purely a scouting and assassination weapon.
Transatmospheric Acceleration Field and Grand Eagle’s Eye
Transatmospheric Acceleration Field: Though Chevron can achieve normal speeds of flight through her wings, her wings are also imbued with another special power of their own. A powerful aura surrounds her wings that can only activate at certain altitudes and elevations. While flying under 75yrds within airspace—and this means even fifty yards above buildings, or any form of altered ground level, she maintains her average flight speed of 69.3MPH. But the moment she increases altitude above this plateau, the TAF-field begins to ramp her speed towards higher accelerations, protecting her from the G-forces and wind-friction associated, increasing its acceleration until she can reach transonic speeds of flight. As long as she maintains at least 75yrds worth of distance from the earth, she can maintain these speeds, but the moment she enters within this distance she will immediately slow down to her average flight speeds. The field does not protect her from collisions with objects.
Admittedly, there is some use for this ability outside of fast-travelling, if Chevron were to dive towards the earth and stop abruptly using the fields innate deterrence from the earth, she can perform an actual technique used by jet pilots known as a ‘sonic boom,’ a moment where a jet decelerates and then hits sonic speeds just as it reaches a certain altitude from the earth, the loud sound created by the jet can deafen one’s hearing for maybe a few post, and even mess with some gems equilibriums if they are simulating it. However, this causes no actual physical damage to anyone in question and is used mostly for distraction.
Grand Eagle’s Eye: In order to properly utilize the powerful bow she can summon, this gem comes equipped with powerful, modulating and magnifying vision. Muscles and complex contracting retinae allow her vision to hone her sight to absolutely incredible distances. The maximum distance she can see is an impressive 3.2km or 3499yds. This vision is actually equivalent to an eagles and can be modulated to increase or decrease field of sight at will.

History: Chevron is a fairly new gem, so there isn’t much to go into in terms of her history and what exactly she’s done up to this point. She was created at a highly secretive facility simply known as Kindergarten Sigma, a specialized kindergarten that devotes most of its time to designing highly eccentric gem designs for all forms of purposes and task. The facility is owned by Serendibite, who simply refers to herself as a Lapidary who is also known for designing a various amount of gems that have made their way to somewhat popular levels in the Homeworld Hierarchy.
Chevron was designed not too long ago, her intended role is to act as a sentinel to Pink Diamond to which this gem is to be gifted to directly. But to also be in a way, a ‘pretty sight,’ for the diamond to amuse herself with if she needed it, much to Chevron’s dismay. Unfortunately, having been so new to the world, she has little knowledge of the war, rebels and things of that nature Yet and up until this point, she has be mostly in containment except the few times Mad Azurite and Amethyst 6UE has accompanied her, who go on little escapades that might only be enforcing a more rebellious tendency in this gem.
Character Arcs:
A Gift to a Diamond: Chevron will be delivered to Pink Diamond as an Honorary gift, most likely in a cage as well like a bird on display. This will mark the beginning of her life as a Sentinel and keep watch over her Diamond. (Intro Thread Pls, With Paddy being there too!

A Flawed Empire: Her time in the empire will prove to be too much for her, she’ll be treated almost like a pearl, just with a lot more shine to her and just a pretty object to look at. Eventually, she’ll become distasteful of Homeworld as a whole.
The Escape: Either with aid of the CG, or on her own regards, she’ll find an escape from her cage, and hideout on earth officially as a Crystal Gem.
