Appearance: She has a tall voluptuous frame, standing at just about 6'6. Her skin is a dark grey that will shimmer with rainbow sparkles in certain lights. Her long inky black hair is tied back in a ponytail. Her eyes are a lighter grey with a bunch of rainbow specks similar to her skin. Her outfit consists of tight black leggings with rips going down the front from her lower thigh to upper shin and her top is a cropped black fishnet long sleeve underneath a semi loose cropped black tank top with a few splotches of different colors all over it, and finally she wears a black choker with the white diamond insignia right in the center.
Personality(1) Carnelian: An aggressive and quite dedicated gem, loyal to a fault, she often has trouble keeping her emotions in check, and this can lead to outbursts in both her and her fusion. She isn't the most level headed in combat either, and is easily provoked. But she can be somewhat more analytical than other quartzes, even knowing a good bit about her surroundings and comrades
Personality(2) Black Pearl: A calm and collected gem, she over analyzes everything, leading to often make more mistakes than she had intended while planning out her strategy, but for a pearl her knowledge in combat is one to be reckoned with. The half of the fusion that can remain level headed in a fight and calm her fiery counterpart down. Though she tends to be more fearful and skiddish, making it harder for her to engage with many others.
Personality(3) Black Opal: The aggression from Carnelian and the calm collectedness of Black pearl make her cocky and confident in herself, this makes her often hold back, sometimes until it's too late, though if one half or the other comes out, she can turn herself around, but it's hard for her as she believes she always has the upper hand. To outside gems, she can seem rather stoic, cold and emotionless, but that is not the case, there have been a few cases where she has made friends, and opened up to them, though it's a rare occurrence. When she does open up, she can be quite emotional, due to the fact that when she hides her emotions, they become bottled up without a release for a long time.
Likes: Fighting, Hunting down rebels, and being alone with herself.
Dislikes: Being apart, standing still, and the rebels

Being found out, being separated permanently, and her diamond.
Weapon(1) Carnelian: She wields a long spiked chain that stretches out to 20 feet in length, though she usually has ten coiled around her arms to allow control over it, the metal being a shiny black.
Weapon(2) Black Pearl: She wields a Kama that reaches out about a foot from the handle, with the blade being 2 feet long itself.
Weapon(3) Black Opal: Taking the spiked chain from Carnelian, and putting Black Pearl's Kama on the end, we get a menacing chain scythe that with the black of the previous two, seems to sparkle with multiple colors in certain lights.
Ability 1: Thanks to Carnelian, Black opal can control fire and resist heat, absorb heat to start a fire later, or she can snuff heat out to an extent, much more than a regular burning fire she needs to absorb, or redirect. She can directly control fire within a five foot radius, to absorb she must be touching it. Though she can toss fire up to fifteen feet away.
Ability 2:
Thanks to Black Pearl she can cloak herself, to try and allow an escape or a leg up, this can't be done often, but when it is done, others can see her moving if they look hard enough, because of the disturbances in the light around her. (Recharge time of three posts, lasts up to two posts.)

History: Both of them were created on a separate planet from homeworld and earth, even being formed in neighboring kindergardens. Black Pearl had been formed as part of a batch of high value pearls, meant to be given to those who earned such high valued gems, but she was different than the rest, where the others were lighter colors, she was black, and after being given to an aristocratic gem and defending said gem from a rebel ambush, she had been moved to begin training with the soldiers, who served under White Diamond, rather than have her potential wasted. Carnelian herself had come from the crust of her world with a few defects, but she worked hard, and remained loyal. Though she was great fighter, she climbed the ranks thanks to her analytical self, helping to win many battles, having earned a troop to command, and once a pearl was put with her troops, she became more interested in commanding them, she trained with the pearl herself, quickly realized this pearl was different than the others, and realized why she was made a soldier, rather than made Carnelian's pearl. Eventually a battle had taken all of Carnelian's troop, all but the Pearl. They fused for the first time there, and won the battle. They loved the way it felt, to be one, to be stronger together. So they would fuse in secret a few more times, and eventually, remain fused. They had made some friends with other commanders over time, one had found out about them, and offered them a way to remain fused over defecting, to work under her command, and that they did. Now, they roam the galaxy, in search of defectors, to bring back to their commander, and to show that they were loyal to their diamond, despite breaking a rather big rule.
Character Arcs: (Welcome to earth.) They will finally reach earth on their journey, and begin to realize, the rebels here are to be taken seriously.
(We are one together) They will search for a way to make themselves stronger, and together they'll become a stronger relationship, over gaining physical strength.
(I am not a rebel... Am I?) They will begin to question themselves and come to a conclusion by the end of this arc, if they're meant to be a rebel, or to remain on Homeworld's side.
