“-but are you 100% certain there was absolutely no possibility or a mix up whatsoever, not even the slightest chance” Euclase confirmed, the seriousness in her tone could not be overstated.
“Your clarity, the gem was not swapped, from the moment the sand spoke of its location to when we transported it to you above it did not change hands, we captured and sent a corrupted gem” Glass responded once more.
“Okay, thank you,” If Desert Glass was surprised by the abruptness of the transmission cut it did not show on their expression before Euclase cut the feed. Leaning back in her chair her eyes were wide and her mind was running through a thousand thoughts at once, looking around the room, a slight expression of shock as she kept thinking, before quickly with a loud scrape of the chair she bolted back up, she was out of her office before the chair had finished crashing onto the ground.
“Wait” She said under her breath, it was…unusual to say the least but it’s not impossible that there had been a mix up, a mix up that would require her to have a stern talk to someone about, but a mix up none the less. Spending the next hour sifting through her files she tried to cite a moment where the mix up could occur, but there was none, at least on the moonbase, but maybe, on the planet itself.
The summons would have beeped on each of the gems primary communication devices, The Reception desk Melody often sat at, the quiet Office Terminal that White Beryl usually worked on, the insistent beeping both continued to do would indicate it was a critical message, a Request, to meet at Interrogation room number four, and a map on how to get there, mostly for Beryl’s sake.
Sitting already within one of the chairs tapping on the control panel was Calcite 3EJ, and behind her arms behind her back was Euclase looking through the window into the interrogation room, a single gem floated in a bubbled, the corrupted shapeshifting gem from the recent incident, two of Euclases drones were orbiting the bubble. Waiting for those she summoned to arrive as she had a quiet but intense conversation with Calcite.

“Absolutely” Desert Glass responded firmly, it was subtle but the sideway glance indicated the ever so slight surprise they had with how intense Euclase was being “The gem did not leave our sight or mingle with a single other bubbled gem before we sent it.”
“Nothing distracted you?” She questioned

Her chin resting on her hand, Euclase watched recording after recording on the screens in front of her desk, recounting the hour of footage before the most recent corruption incident, she must of gone through hundreds of cameras and this point, and through her efforts a recreation of the gems path had begun to form, but she still lacked the origin point. Thinking nothing of the next camera view she played it on double speed, it was simple, the view of one of the long term observation cells, sure enough the Csarite she had order into it was placed within the cell but another gem, the bubble popped and the barrier materialised as the gem left to attend another job. Expecting to see a corrupted gem Euclase glanced away from the screen to tap something on her own screen, but as she glanced back she did a small double take. The Gem within the cell was distinctly humanoid, thinking she bumped something she rewound the footage quickly and slowed it to normal speed leaning forward to look at the screen, the footage reflecting of her own eyeballs. Sure enough the gem forming was not corrupted.
The Present
From the corridor of interrogation rooms it was clear which one was occupied, standing beside the door were two Topaz guards. Entering the doorway from the corridor would not lead one directly into the interrogation room, instead they would be enter a control room of sorts, 2 panels of controls along with chairs were present on the opposite wall from the entrance, a large rectangular Torso high Window on same wall as the control panels would allowed any gems to look directly within to the actual interrogation room. The doorway to the right, currently flanked itself by 2 Amethysts ,led into a small corridor that ran parallels to the control room and interrogation room, the second door on the left leading into the interrogation room itself. Pinkish white panels adorned the entire room and floor, an ever so slight bump on the panel lines the only thing breaking up the complete smoothness of the surfaces. From within the room the window acted as a one way mirror reflecting only the gems within the room back, instead of those looking in from the control room.
