This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show.

The TV Flickers to life in the unlit room showing a scenic view of a small town as a narrator starts to speak

Beach City, a lovely place to live with its friendly community, attachment to nature and of course its perfect beaches.
The TV splices between several images and video of the town
Rest assured that this city is always safe too as we have some of the best gems protecting it, yes for all you humans and gems alike you can rest easy knowing that the magical gem ladies are on the case here, In Beach City.
Cuts again to Garnet,Amethyst,Pearl and Rose as they fight off another gem creature on the shore of the beach
There newly formed temple now watches over the coastline allowing you the citizens and tourists to rest even easier.
Cuts to a show of the temple that now watches over the ocean. It appears to be based off some sort of gem fusion with 4 sets of arms. The bottom set of arms is holding a stone platform and in the stomach of the statue is a doorway that leads straight into the temple.

Greg Shoots up, “huh, what, im awake” It quickly cuts to another scenic view

The tv switches off

Behind the veil of beach city and the general heroic status of gem kind something much more unsettling is coming. The tension can be felt in the air as many of the gems are full of stress and fear, many feel alone in this time and many are not sure what to do. To think this all started with simple silence.
The communication hub has not received a message in weeks, all that seems to come out of it is bursts of static. This by itself would not be too worrisome as a representative from the Gem’s planet would simple come from the space warp to inform them of what is happening. However the spacewarps too mysteriously cracked and ceased to work around the same time. Those who attempted to return to the planet through space are neither seen nor heard from again.
This has all of Gem kind on edge as the fate of their homeworld is now unknown and with the attacks of corrupted gems rising on earth many fear that the corruption plague may of wiped out gem kind on the other planets, and now that the Garnet,Pearl,Amethyst? and Rose have vanished Gem kind is feeling more vulnerable than ever.

It is now your turn to decide. Fight against the corruption and banish the fog of fear and deceit that rests over gem kind. Or bow down and join your impure brethren becoming the harbingers of corruption and destruction to take over the earth and solidify all of gem kind’s fate.

one question though, i thought this was taking place long before the strawberry field battle. this blurb seems more like a few years before the conflict.

thus the retconning bit, i wanted the beach city we know and love and if did it to the proper timeline the Roleplay would have to be set 6000 years before the show. So basically its retconned so the war from the show was alot more recent so we can still RP in mostly the same period that the show is set it.
