Name:
Tanzanite
Appeared Gender:
Male
Appeared Age:
Late twenties
Gemstone:
An ovular piece of tanzanite.
Gemstone Location: Left forearm.
Corrupted: No.
Appearance: Tanzanite appears as a purple version of Fuscite.
Personality: Tanzanite acts almost exactly the same as Fuscite, being programmed the same way. However, he lacks all of the extra experience and skills Fuscite has, and does not share Fuscite's separated viewpoint. Also, Tanzanite is more attuned to sound.
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: Being in his ship and/or suit, discovering new things, executing orders and doing productive things.
Dislikes: Hostile lifeforms, not being in ship and/or suit, discovering bad things, not doing anything.
Fears: Cracking and/or shattering, hostile lifeforms, and becoming useless.
Weapon: Tanzanite cannot conjure a weapon, instead using his abilities to defend himself.
Ability 1:
Sound Manipulation: Tanzanite can manipulate soundwaves for a multitude of tasks, whether it be echolocation or for a literal bass cannon. This is Tanzanite's main method of offense and defense. These soundwaves are extremely visible, and easily contrast any environment. (Except a night club) However, where there is little to no sound, these abilities are FAR less effective, sometimes useless. This means space, libraries, etc.
Ability 2: Bass Cannon: Tanzanite's most dangerous move. This ability takes a minimum of 3 posts;1 to start, 1 to charge, and one to fire. The longer Tanzanite spends charging, the more powerful (and loud) the ability becomes, e.g. 3 posts charging would be more powerful than 1 post charging. Also, the total time spent using the bass cannon is also it's cooldown time. This means that if Tanzanite spends three posts to use the cannon, it'll be another three posts before he can use it again. The Bass Cannon is, in summary, a giant beam of sound that functions similarly to a Kame-hame-ha, as in a giant laser beam. The more charged the cannon is, the farther it goes and the more powerful it is. For a 3-post cannon, the range would be roughly 25 meters. Each additional post adds 5 meters, until 50 meters is reached, and then it increases by 10 meters until 150 meters is reached. After that, each post spent charging just increases the power of the cannon.
Fusions: None yet.
History: Whereas the Fuscites were the first wave of explorers, the Tanzanites were meant to be their field replacements. When the Fuscite would be rendered incapable of transmitting or the ship was heavily damaged, the Tanzanite was released from their protective casing in the storage area of the ship to either assist the Fuscite or continue the mission in it's absence. These Tanzanites were made to be of a somewhat higher quality than the Fuscites, able to regenerate but still lacking a summonable weapon. The one aboard our Fuscite's ship never activated, due to Fuscite not activating it. However, the ship's slamming into the cliff and crashing was enough to activate the Tanzanite and release him from his casing.
Character Arcs: The Mission: Unlike Fuscite, Tanzanite has not explored many other planets and therefore doesn't have a seperated viewpoint. With how events are unfolding on Earth, Tanzanite will have to choose between continuing the mission given to him or resisting his programming and fighting the Homeworld.
