Name: MESA (+A.P.J.U.) Main Exploration of Space Andriod and Artificial Peacekeeping Juggernaut Unit
Or just call her Tourmaline.
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: Adult
Gemstone: Cat's Eye Tourmaline
Gemstone Location: Right Eye
Corrupted: (Y/N)
Corrupted Appearance:
Appearance: Ignore the giant.. "things" that are holding her, and that her "feet" is actually one wheel she controls by will.
Personality: Tourmaline tries to be as serious as possible when being on her missions, although that fact usually changes once something abruptly comedic shows up. She is quite independant of herself, thinking of herself as the most superior as it's hard to earn her respect. She does still value the multiple thinking races she has met however, believing that every individual has a certain value of worth in some sort of aspect. She makes a good person for working, since she always has an urge to complete a task she is given, having a small case of OCD.
Likes/Dislikes:
+ Herself
+ Various types of technology, not limited to electrical.
+ Good jokes
- Silly people
- People who give her orders
- Primitives (people who don't understand/know how to use technology)
Fears:
- Death, self explanatory, a common fear among thinking individuals.
- Corruption, acting as death considering you are no longer concious.
- Losing control over her own body.
Weapon: Gem weapon unknown as of yet, as it has never been needed.
Ability 1: Modifiable Limbs (Metallic Suit) which is powered by her gem, which is why it's connected to her right eye.
- Using a robotic suit (much like Peridot in the show) she can detatch parts of her suit (limited to limbs such as her legs or arms) whenever she deems it necessary. However, the part won't be able to be re-attatched again unless a regeneration or healing occurs. She can also attach other technology to her limbs, incase needed. The healing requires the body part, whilst the regeneration easily replaces the part.
- Using her metallic hands, she can summon a temporary technological interface that can show basic memory and information stored in her databank. It can also be used to calculate numbers, hacking, GPS, internet browser or be used as a wireless controller for set-up systems. This green ball requires her robotic hands to work though, and only using one hand will provide a smaller more basic interface that isn't able to do as much as it's predecessor.
- It's proof from multiple sorts of energy such as electromagnatic, heat (towards the melting point of titanium), electrical (destabilizing), her only weakspots being her face and throat. Will also act as a mirror for any heat waves such as lasers or the kind.
- Her whole body is more durable to swords and other sorts of weapon except for her weakspots, her throat and face. She might also use her different body parts for multiple tasks that aren't known yet.
Ability 2: Jet Flying
Since a wheel isn't the most effective at terrain travelling, she has jets implanted in her suit that she can power by her own gem. These jets allow levitation, aswell as flying as high as the stratosphere is located. However, with some sort of magical or technological boost the jets may be able to fly as high as outside of the atmosphere and achieve orbit, in which continuing to fly from the Earth will become much, much easier.
Fusions: None, she doesn't enjoy fusion as she doesn't have full control over her body.
History: Tourmaline was a part of Homeworld her whole life, following the orders she was given. Those orders were usually along the lines of exploring and locating different types of planets that were capeable of hosting a Kindergarten on it's own. Ofcourse, while this was a pretty easy job on paper, it was much harder in reality.
Some planets could be inhabited by hostile beings, and some planets were close enough to a star so that any normal gem would evaporize before they could get on the surface. Thankfully, Tourmaline was equipped with custom tools so that she might survive in any type of enviroment.
At first, Tourmaline did not think much of the life on the planets she explored. But the more life she met, the more she delevoped empathy for the creatures. They had not done anything to the gems themselves, had they? It was not soon enough she met thinking creatures, which is when she really started to realize that there was more to these simple lives than she had previously thought. No matter, she continued on her orders, as any attempt to trick her superiors would result in punishment.
She was now given a different type of missions, to check on the Kindergartens themselves to make sure they were stable and working. Revisiting the old planets she had discovered on her own, she saw how the planets and the life on it was getting weaker as the Kindergartens on them was working at their full potential. She decided to force herself from feeling empathy, so that she could more effectively continue on her missions, as the emotions were too much to bear anymore.
Tourmaline was one of the people destroying the planets in the name of Homeworld, and although she no longer felt any empathy, she became very egoistic in the sense that she felt she deserved more than carrying out missions for her so called "superiors". She thought staying low for a bit might make them forget her, it was sure they would find a replacement for her. She hadn't had contact with her superiors for a long time now, so she was thinking about trying to cut off her connection with Homeworld. Tourmaline didn't have many planets left, so the opportunity was coming.
Character Arcs:
- Find a home where she doesn't need to take orders
- Complete her missions, so that she can escape although done with her list. She will be aligned with Homeworld as long as her missions aren't done.
- Make contact with other non-homeworld beings
