((Note: I want this character as a replacement. The green gem? Dispose of her.))
Name: Ridge
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: Middle Teen 14-17
Gemstone: Lightning Ridge Black Opal
Gemstone Location: Solar Plexus;
Located just below the ribcage, the third chakra resembles sense of identity, self-confidence and personal power.
Corrupted: Yes
Monster Form: A black dragon with a mix of the blue spectrum.
Appearance: A teenage girl with black hair, blue skin and eyes, and black and white clothing.
Personality: Being quite clueless of the world she's living in, and getting a quite unwanting attitude towards her from the humans, she is rather conflicted on how to feel. She feels like this is a world in which you need to be a bit hostile, and perhaps not even trust anyone. She starts acting cold and brutal, in order to try and fit in with this ideology that she is to be feared. But infact, she is very nice on in the inside, however she feels like she is not allowed to show it. Infact, she tries to not show any positive emotions to anyone. Instead, Ridge usually shows a constant ego, playing the role of someone who thinks they're above all else. Perhaps one day she might be able to act like she really is and be accepted for it.
Likes/Dislikes:
+ A fight, fair or not, she enjoys combat in every form.
+ Interaction with other beings.
- Being bored.
- Being alone.
Fears: Her friends dying/cracking.
Weapon: Crossbow, as shown in the Appearance section.
Will fire bolts made out of plasma (lightning) which can result in shocking upon hit. Won't spread in any liquid such as water.
Ability 1: Cryo-Electricity Manipulation. Aka, a fusion of Ice and Lightning manipulation.
Ridge has the ability to manipulate freezing lightning and electrical ice. Electrical ice will act much like ice except it might shock whatever it hits such as a biological or technological creature. Freezing lightning will act much like normal lightning except wherever it goes it freezes a liquid rather than turning it into gas, stopping a fire by freezing it, et cetera.
The ice acts more defensive whilst the lightning acts as an offensive. The downside to the ability is that normal ice can't be manipulated, neither can normal lightning be manipulated. Apply normal logic to this ability such as the more frequently used the more drained she will be of energy.
Ability 2: Don't really wish to have a second ability. I'd rather have Ability 1 to take up both of my ability slots.
Fusions: N/A
History:
It was a stormy night this day. September, a cold month, where rain would havoc the Earth. The month was almost to it's end, too. At the same time not too far from Beach City, lied a fully working Kindergarten. For most people it would probably just look like a normal ravine, although that ravine had mechanical machines, and those machines were not friendly. Producing gems by sucking the life out of the Earth day in and day out, this Earth seemed to have a sealed fate of doom and potentional drainage of any living creature. Many gems were produced, and one of the gems produced was Black Opal.
As rain fell down on the rocky ground and metallic machines, the soothing noise filled the area. Every creature was asleep under their roof of either rock or leaf, as the thunder and rain hit loose under the dark night. This noise in particular, was the first noise the newborn gem would hear. Opening her eyes, she is rather clueless on where she is. Going by instinct, she starts crawling out her hole only to stand up, watching her surroundings. She was in what looked like to be a ravine, and there was many other holes like hers on the tall earthy walls.
In the blink of an eye everything lit up, but not for long. It was later followed up by a devasting thundering for every living creature to hear. A very chilly wind stroke by the halls she was walking in, she felt like she was freezing to death. Eventually after walking the halls, she manages to find the exit, in which she quickly rushes towards. She didn't really know what she was doing, nor where she was going, but her instincts told her to run, and she ran.
Upon exiting the place, she would quickly slip on the wet grass, covering herself in mud. She wasn't in a very comforting position at the moment, so all she did was to try and get up, in which she did. After finally getting up from the muddy green grass, she starts watching her surroundings, only to discover that this was a much different world than the earthy halls she had explored before. Albeit it was dark, she could make out beautiful plains in the distance. She thought the clouds were amazing too, and the way the cold rain covered the landscape in this wet coat.
She started running towards one of the plains in curiousity, although she would be stopped by a fence made out of rock. It wasn't tall enough to stop her, as she simply jumped right over it in order to enter the beautiful plain that she was heading for. The different types of flowers blowed her mind, all these colors and shapes. It was truly beautiful to watch, in this dark night. Upon entering deep into the plains, she was the only tall creature there, and she didn't know that this could make her a potential victim of the lightning.
Another thundering broke loose as she spotted the bright plasma fill the skies. She was truly amazed by the sight, the beauty of the light in the dark. However, she wouldn't be as amazed, as when she was struck by the lightning. Yet again, a lightning bolt would head for the Earth. But this time, it was a sentient rock in the middle of the plains.
Black Opal just stared as everything quickly went dark, only to wake up again in the middle of the plains she was in before. However, it was snowing now. How long had she'd been gone? The weather had changed drastically. She wondered what happened to her, she remembered a light covering her eyes completely whilst a stinging pain struck the whole of her body forcing her to retreat into her gem. Whatever it was, she felt like it changed her. She wasn't Black Opal anymore... infact, she was Ridge.
Her gem on her chest had changed somehow, as it was covered in a spread lightning patterns, instead of her old gem which was purely black. She noticed she was coated in this white blanket, although freezing to the touch. She didn't mind the cold though, and stepped up, watching the now frozen wastes of the plain.
It was day now, and she was walking towards what seemed to be an ocean. Although, the water appeared frozen. She stepped onto the water, only to find that she was able to walk on it. She managed to walk the frozen beach. She wondered what could've created this beautiful coat of ice on both the water and the plains. Nevertheless, she was heading for a dim light in the distance, and what seemed to be buildings. Upon approaching, she spots some gem-like creatures, and she thought that it would be a good idea to approach them considering the fact that she was clueless onto what she was or what she is.
Upon approaching one of them, the creature would just scream and run away. Ridge didn't appear to notice the lightning emitting from her. No matter who she approached, they would just run away. She didn't like this, not at all. If these creatures weren't so appreciative of her, then she wouldn't be of them. She recognized a teleporting platform, as she somehow already knew what that was. Stepping onto it, she heads for a random place, in attempt to find some peace where she can be alone for a moment. She needed to process things, as Ridge hadn't been able to fully understand all this. So much had happened in so little time, this was a bit too much to handle.
She stopped emitting lightning eventually, and one particular beast would start charging forward towards her. It was in the middle of a forest, although strangely there was no leaves on the trees. As the creature ran up towards her, she put her hand forward in front of the creature in hope of protecting herself, which it just did. A thick wall of ice would erupt from the ground, which the monster would shatter upon impact. The monster was very dizzy, and the shocks he was recieving from the splinters didn't make it any better. The monster was forced to retreat, and she just had discovered her powers.
Perhaps she was able to find answers on her own, she thought. She wandered the lands of the Earth through the seasons, also discovering her freezing lightning by helping out a fellow village living nearby a giant volcano by freezing the erupting magma instead of attempting to set up a wall of ice. She was appreciated by the creatures for once, but it didn't really feel enough after what she had gone through.
She started to head back towards the location that she was originally from, although not directly, as she still wanted to explore the Earth she was walking upon. Ridge didn't really know what to feel, but she was going by the impression of these gem-like creatures on how she should act like.
