Name:Aquamarine
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: 9
Gemstone: Aquamarine
Gemstone Location: Center of chest
Corrupted:(Y/N) N
Appearance: Aquamarine looks like a small child with light blue skin and robin's egg blue hair that reaches down to the base of her back. Her hair parts in front of her face, but blocks both of her eyes. She wears a teal sun dress with a pink diamond in the middle of the chest. The dress looks a bit battle worn with holes and tears along the edges. Under the dress she wears a black, full body riding suit, which provides her with some padding during fights. Unlike most gems, she likes to walk barefoot. Due to a problem with the creation process, she is blind and usually keeps eyes closed. When her eyes are open, they are a startlingly bright blue with flecks of emerald.
Personality: Aquamarine is a gentle and quiet person, mostly to avoid attention from higher ups. To those who know her, she is mischievous and sarcastic and loves to joke. She is always upbeat despite the situation and is not afraid of doing something risky. She gets very reckless in battles and becomes very serious. She will not joke at all and will tell off anyone not taking the fight seriously. Aquamarine is a very caring person in and out of battle and will not leave a gem behind just to save herself. She will get into fights and reprimand anyone with that mentality.
Likes/Dislikes: Aquamarine likes to read and play the flute when she has time to herself. When out with friends she likes to joke and play pranks on them. She dislikes authority, usually because they look down on her defect.
Fears: She is afraid of being destroyed because of her blindness. She will fight to prove how useful she is even if it is extremely dangerous just to avoid people thinking she's worthless. She is also afraid of being locked into tight spaces because her first boss used to do it to punish her.
Weapon: Her weapon is a midnight blue bo staff with no special adornments. It looks as if it were made of a solid piece of crystal. The staff can change size at will, allowing her to use it easily despite her small stature.
Ability 1: Aquamarine has low level telekinesis which she mainly uses for sight. She can sense a rough image of her surroundings by feeling the slight vibrations the matter gives off. She can move things that only a few pounds, but it takes most of her concentration.
Ability 2: Aquamarine can manipulate the wind around her, but not enough to harm anyone. She can knock other gems off their feet and use it to allow her to jump father or slow down her fall.
Fusions: She fuses with Emerald to create Moissanite.
History: Aquamarine was created on Homeworld using a new method that the gems were experimenting with. Most of the gems that were created had defects due to an impurity that accidentally entered the process. Most of the defected gems were destroyed, but Aquamarine managed to survive by proving her usefulness to the manager of the experiment.
For several hundred years she worked under the manager as an assistant. During that time, any time Aquamarine made a mistake, her boss threatened to discard her like the others. Tired of the constant fear, she left to join the army in an attempt to prove to herself that she was worthwhile. Most of the recruitment centers refused to accept her, but one captain saw promise in her and signed her up. For the past hundred years she has been climbing up the ranks, surprising everyone with her recklessness and skill.
Character Arcs: Aquamarine will eventually realize that she has always deserved to live just like other gems. She will continue to become a skilled fighter and prove to other gems with defects that they can overcome it no matter what. Aquamarine will eventually become a permanent fusion with another character, someone she trusts and believes that she is the most important being in the universe.
