Name: Sugar D1332
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: 21, is roughly 2,500
Gemstone: Sugar Crystals, AKA Rock Candy
Gemstone Location: A four sided pyramid cut with a rhombus base where her navel should be
Corrupted: No
Appearance:

Sugar stands at about five feet tall, having grown from her previous four foot frame. Her skin is a dark tan, her hair a messy off-white mop atop her head, and her eyes a vivid pink. She is often clad in a gray tube top bearing a yellow diamond, a small black choker, a pair of grey form fitting pants with a large diamond ripped into the fabric near the hips on each leg, and a white coat, similarly marked with the yellow diamond. Her boots are grey and nearly indistinguishable from her pants, and her shotgun is usually drawn and slung over her shoulder as opposed to being within her gem.
Personality: Sugar was a loud, boisterous, violent sociopath who once sought joy in watching dissenters of the Great Diamond Authority suffer. Her love for watching her targets descend into trembling, abject fear was matched only by her devout loyalty to her Diamond, the “Lady of Yellow”, as Sugar once referred to her. This gem is tactically proficient, incredibly thorough in completing her assignments, is a very quick learner, and utterly merciless on the field. She has a great deal of respect for her peers and superiors, but those beneath her will be treated with curt disregard or straight up death threats, depending on her mood.
Speaking of which, Sugar has quite the impressive temper. The smallest slight can easily prompt unnecessary aggression, such as a criticism regarding a mission from an underling resulting in a gun shoved against their gem. Sugar also tends to get caught up in the moment of whatever violent spree she is in, making her careless when she is winning, and reckless when she isn’t.
However, time on Earth has changed this murderous monster into someone more mature and rational. While she still has a temper, she isn't going to pull a gun at the drop of a hat, and in fact, has come to like the planet she has been marooned on quite a bit. Her time on Earth brought with it numerous experiences and perspectives, as well as an understanding that the war of the gems should avoid breaching human contact at any and all costs. While she wears the insignia of her diamond, her faith in the Authority has become ever shakier as she considered the implications of her redemption.
Likes: Despite her best efforts, the miserable rock she found herself stranded on has grown on her. She enjoys the freedom that comes with the lack of oversight by the diamonds, and has found an appreciation for human music, art, visual entertainment, and crude vehicular transportation. However, she greatly values her companionship with her fellow gem Carbide. She only wishes she had the opportunity to say so before her capture.
Dislikes: Rain. Of all the glorious and beautiful things that her time on Earth has exposed her to, the revelation that liquid water will occasionally fall from the sky was one of the most cursed. As exposure to water will slowly and fatally corrode at her core, such a distaste toward any kind of water is understandable. Her experiences with the Crystal Gems have also been less than stellar, though upon reflection, it was her zealotry that drove those conflicts to the level that they reached, and as such, she has grown to dislike those who follow others without thought.
Fears: She is very much afraid of her own death, as well as the potential loss of life that would come from a full scale war between the Insurrectionists and Diamond Authority on Earth.
Weapon: Lever action hardlight shotgun: A shotgun that fires Hardlight rounds at a maximum range of twenty feet. It requires roughly thirty seconds of cool down (roughly 3-4 rotations in a fight?) after firing five shots, during which it is often used as a sort of cudgel. Sugar can wield two at once.
Ability 1: Flash Step: A form of short range teleportation that moves the user, and selectively anything within physical contact. This technique can be used in rapid succession, but the more often it is used, the higher the risk of destabilization, as transporting matter instantaneously through space is never purely accurate. Maximum range is within a 15 foot radius, and it can be used 5 times in rapid succession before requiring 30 seconds (3-4 rotations) of cool down.
Ability 2: Featherweight: Sugar can shift her physical body’s weight in order to make her lighter, as to increase the distance the recoil of her weapons affects her. This, however, also decreases her defense, as she gets launched and injured more easily due to her light weight. She can return to her normal weight at any time.
Fusions: None, as of yet. She prefers to rely on her own abilities than fall back on such a frowned upon technique.
History: Sugar D1332 first emerged in a kindergarten on a gem colony orbiting the star Sirius. The Sugar units have always been known for their destructive capabilities despite their diminutive size, and Sugar Cut 13 Facet 32 of Demolitions was no different. However, she also carried a trait generally frowned upon by her superiors. While most saw the obliteration of enemy compounds and the ending of lives as mere work, D1332 reveled in the hell that she so often raised, her brutal efficiency often capped with manic laughter as shots were fired.
A number of successful missions over the course of a thousand years later, D1332 was transferred from Yellow Diamond’s demolitions unit to her special operations unit. This change in occupation allowed D1332 to branch out in her destructive exploits, and her addition to a six gem squad offered her a chance to truly work with a team. This unit was integral in a campaign to retake a colony orbiting Alpha Centauri, which had been “liberated” by a faction of insurrectionists. This unit’s missions revolved around storming compounds where multiple targets of interest were housed. The majority of their attacks were a success, until the insurrectionists made a last stand, holing themselves up in a long range communications tower. Sugar’s unit went in first, and upon busting down the door, their leader was shattered, stabbed through the chest only to have her gem crushed against the floor. Two more of their unit fell before they were driven out, forcing Yellow Diamond to send in reinforcements. Sugar’s unit had failed, and the diamonds were unable to take back the tower, settling on completely destroying it and any gems inside.
The remainder of Sugar’s unit was severely reprimanded after their failure, each being forced into grunt work on other anti insurrection campaigns for five hundred years. Then the warp to Earth was shut down. Seeing a potential way to eliminate the cause of the occurrence, as well as temporarily rid herself of the trio of failure, Yellow Diamond brought Sugar D1332, Emerald S2588, and Topaz M1215 before her, and reassigned them as Squad 17 Spec ops Unit 1, with their new mission being to investigate the strange occurrence with the Galaxy warp and the gems on Earth. Seeing the mission as a chance at redemption, and making the suspicion that the perpetrators were more insurrectionists, Sugar, Emerald, and Topaz all boarded a drop craft bound for Earth, with Sugar anxiously awaiting the closest thing to vengeance she could get.
Her arrival on Earth yielded no glory, nor did it offer catharsis of any kind.
Her comrades, Emerald and Topaz, were killed shortly upon their collective arrival on Earth when their dropship was sabotaged and destroyed, presumably by the Crystal Gems. Any solo operations against these insurrectionists ended in retreat or failure, and along the way she found herself coming into conflict with other loyalists, some of which deviated heavily from their directive and seemed... beyond unstable. She soon found herself with far more enemies than allies, marooned on a foreign planet with no contact with her superiors, and with no means of feasibly executing her task. Therefore when she found herself in the position to work with a certain mad scientist, she embraced the alliance with open arms, furthering the tasks as she explored the world, hunting particular gems of interest to her new ally. However, her travels brought culture, contact with humans and free thinking gems, music, art, and above all, opportunities for introspection. She came to realize that the methods her ally engaged in would greatly endanger these humans, and could potentially prompt a conquest against all gems on this world. So she left, continuing her ongoing mission despite occasional encounters with... less than cooperative Homeworld Loyalists.
She has been missing for two years.
