Obsidian ship flew over the head of Sugar, with Obsidian automatons flying behind it, carrying the bubbled up Zircon. The ship landed down exactly where the target would appear on Sugar's radar. Obsidian stood up from the ship's cockpit and walked to where the ship's entrance would be, waiting to meet up with Sugar right on the entrance, the Automatons finally caught up to the ships and proceeded to enter the ship from underneath. The Automatons that captured Zircon proceeded to enter the other ship and placed the bubble on the ship's prisoner cells meanwhile the other Automatons proceeded to head back to Obsidian ship and placed themselves on the ship's Automaton container.
"Hohoh, Thank you my dear Sugar without your help i couldn't capture that "rouge" gem and you know, with every help you get, you'll get a reward, follow me to my chambers so we can discuss your reward~" Obsidian said as if she was giving a treat to a dog, smiling she heads back inside the ship, with the Automaton that recorded Sugar following behind her.
"Hey, Obsidian. I get that you're a scientist, but that doesn't mean everyone else is stupid." Sugar commented, slinging her shotgun over her shoulder as she strode up the landing pad, glancing at the bubbled gem as she passed. "That kid was pretty fucked up. What did you want from him?" Sugar inquired once more, glancing up to the taller gem as she followed before she began shifting her gaze across the halls of the ship, shooting a devilish glare at one of the scientist's pearls.
"Now that I'm thinking about it, you hadn't told me much about this guy. Just pointed me at the punk and painted a giant 'Kill this Bitch' sign on his back, as though I were some dumbass common Ruby. Explain yourself."

" Don't doubt my orders, Sugar." She replied back to the small gem, getting slightly irritated that she, A high ranking gem had to explain why they captured Zircon. " This mission was critical to Homeworld, by studying the virus of the corruption, I, Obsidian could learn how to treat it for our soldiers or to use it against our enemies." Obsidian smiled at the last couple of words, with that being said, Obsidian already had a project in mind for the corruption virus. "I was told this virus existed here on Earth, told by my Diamonds. I've recorded this Zircon for many weeks now and with you on my side, i couldn't help but take the chance of possible studying on this Virus." She walked down to the main hall of the ship, Obsidian stopped at the main hall elevator, waiting for her partner, Sugar to enter the elevator with her to Obsidian chamber.
"Not your slave, Obsi. Keep that shit in mind." Sugar retorted, clearly miffed about the 'questioning orders' comment. Nevertheless, she followed the taller gem, knowing that the scientist likely had something of worth that she could use. Impatience took over sometime along the elevator ride, something that could be seen by her crossing her arms and incessantly tapping her foot. She didn't like Obsidian, and she didn't doubt that the taller scientist felt similarly about the operator herself. But, so long as they worked as a unit, they could build something up to vanquish the rebels that had made this planet their home. Then again... That didn't seem to be Obsidian's goal. If she designed so many of Homeworld's weapons, and if she considered the Crystal Gems a mere nuisance... Then why hadn't she wiped them all the fuck out already?

Obsidian wasn't interested in killing the crystal gems, after all they're just nothing but a bunch of gems that are no-one in Homeworld. Obsidian was a scientist not a murderer, she needed to make projects out of live subjects in order to be of use for Homeworld not only that, creating such big weapons would deplete her entire remaining stock and she would still need more materials. "Noted Sugar" Obsidian replied back to the small gem, inside of her mind she was already tired of this gem bullshit and just wanted her to be shattered after all. Elite soldier or not, Obsidian did not care for common fodder. "So what do you want sugar, since you helped me after all."
"I want a truck. And I want you to teach me how to drive a truck." Sugar responded, crossing her arms with a matter-of-fact tone. She had to admit, she had always been fascinated by human vehicles. They looked so abstract and... Inhuman, but artful. Beautiful in their own way. And the sounds they made... Sugar wanted a goddamn car. Or truck, preferably truck, since she could keep more shit in the back. Like guns. And gems. And Obsi's science shit, so she didn't have to carry every goddamn thing back to the goddamn bitch-cave.
"Also, if possible, a semi automatic marksman rifle, energy based, HW scope, the works. You made that shit, right? I never really paid much attention to your work. Only ever really stuck with the two guns, y'know?"

Oh how Obsidian despised sugar with a burning passion, who does she think she is?! ordering Obsidian around like she's some common pearl! " I'll what i can do with making a rifle." The elevator finally stopped, reaching it's destination, Obsidian exited the elevator and headed to her chair. " A weapon is understandable but why a truck? Are you referring something about the humans culture?" she sat on her chair, waving her hand across the table, a hologram appeared from thin air, numbers and data flying across the screen Obsidian laid her hand down on the table, searching for what is a "truck" in order for her to understand fully what Sugar was saying. "So you want, just a truck? nothing more than a new weapon and a truck?"
"Did I stutter? I don't think I stuttered." Sugar replied, rolling her eyes. Obsidian had no way and likely wouldn't build any form of assault craft, so an Earth vehicle would have to suffice. As for the rifle, being able to take out targets in larger spaces would always be a plus. There were some places where shotties just didn't cut it, y'know?
"Besides, if I asked for, say, a tank, you would either lack the resources or just say no. Not to mention that a truck blends in far better with the human society than, say, a Homeworld assault craft, correct?" the smaller gem continued, leaning uncomfortably against the table. "You have got to get another chair for this room..."

"Fine if you so desire a car then i'll get you one." Obsidian rolled her eyes, tapping her fingers on the table in rhythm, getting irritated by the angry midget orders. "I would get a chair but i prefer only having one chair for me." She smirked, she turned to her side, scrolling through more data on her table. "You can get a truck near here in matter of fact, go take one of my automatons to help you 'secure' the truck if you so desire." She said without looking back to the small gem, Obsidian was more focused on making this semi-automatic rifle with the materials she had. " If you can do me a favor and grab a conductor when you come back, i'll appreciate it. it's for your weapon."
"Selfish bitch..." Sugar muttered under her breath as Obsidian revealed that she had no plans to get another chair anytime soon. The acquisition of a truck would be easy. As for a conductor... That would be slightly trickier. However... Maybe one of her drones could suffer an 'accident'? That could supply any parts needed. Of course, she would need an alibi. 'Ambushed by Crystal Gems'? Nah, she would likely be able to see video footage. 'Catastrophic tech failure?' Maybe, but a little hard for her to believe. 'Human driver hit it with the truck'? Fucking. Perfect.
"Alright then. I'll get on that as soon as we land." she remarked, glancing out the viewport and down to,the kindergarten below. From up high, it just looked like another hole in the ground. But the surface was far more unsettling. Almost... Alien, to some degree. She really hated that place. Hell, she'd take a year with Obsidian over a week in the Beta Kindergarten any day.

"Good as for now, go rest or something. I don't care." Obsidian waved away sugar, not wanting to hear her voice no more, Obsidian hated the small angry gem, who knew that their partnership could turn out like this. Nothing but hatred from both sides and annoyance but Obsidian did not care for Sugar, she was just a regular pre-made gem for a job that suited her kind but as for Obsidian herself, she had to break the laws of Homeworld to get where was now. Obsidian's aren't scientists back at homeworld, they're a "special" kind of gems, either for jobs that suited them for making stuff from lava or whatever Homeworld has them set to do but there's one thing that Obsidian liked about Sugar, It was that she'll see to get the job done... well it seems like it. "One more thing Sugar." Obsidian was going to hate herself for this but...it was necessary as a human tradition to show thanks even to a common fodder. "Thank you." She tried her best not to grit her teeth or bash her head onto a wall while saying that.
Melody: how are you doing? Are you going to make a character in here?

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
