[Yellow Peridot]

     Peridot was pissed at this point. She screamed as the bullet hit her for the 3rd time in the leg. She finally said in a grumbled voice, her eyes flashing red."How could we be this insane? Turning on your own kind? Now you've desecrated my rank. Now what am I? Somehow the standards are the same here. I have become stronger on this planet than I ever thought I would. And here I am, mocked and defeated by another experiment so easily. My other form is trying to break out, but it is not the time. I know when I have lost. And I am yours to do whatever you want with me. You've shattered my integrity anyway." She couldn't help but break down into tears as her form distorted and poofed herself. Her enhancers lie on the ground beside it. She had lost. She hoped she could regenerate and be completely fine afterwards, though she wasn't sure.

[Sugar]

Sugar rolled her eyes in response to the Peridot's teary soliloquy, shaking her head as the gem retreated into her core. They needed to have a serious talk, and retreating to heal was not going to help. The soldier took a moment to move all of the tech gem's enhancers, placing them behind a rock she decided to sit down on. And so she stayed that way, watching and waiting for the Peridot to reform.

Why the hell was she doing this? Most of the time, she would have just shattered a foe once the opportunity presented itself. But this was no foe. Simply a misguided loyalist drunk on her own power and ego. She wasn't going to kill someone who had no reason to die. After all, the loyalists of this planet needed to band together, not tear themselves apart.

[Yellow Peridot]

     After several minutes, she began to come back. Only this time, she felt herself being taken over by her second personality. Her glowing form began to defect from her normal form. It began to emit an ear splitting shriek, as sharp teeth and a long pointed tongue were made out. Her form completed and she looked like a monster. Her eyes were black with red pupils. Her skin turned pink, and her nails were sharpened. Her hair now reached down to her knees and she seemed almost 2 feet taller than what she was before. Her suit changes as well, with the leggings looking torn and the diamond on her pants torn in half as well. She spoke in a higher voice that it was almost nauseating to listen to."Why don't you and me have a little chat." She chuckled as she smiled with all her sharp teeth making her look even more monsterous.

30 minutes. That is how much time it took for Sugar's adversary to reform. Of course, she definitely didn't look the same. Most gems that go through destabilization and reformation end up altering some aspect of their physical form. But this was far too drastic of a change. "Dear lord... My night is just going to be more and more of this, isn't it..." the Sugar muttered to herself, priming both of her thankfully cool running shotguns. She was honestly done with this kid, and if they were dumb enough to take another swing at her, she wasn't going to hesitate in grinding her into the dirt. Or better, giving her to Obsidian for experimentation.

"My act of mercy was a gift. Clearly, you didn't appreciate it that much. Now, you remember how this shit went down last time, so if you changed your form just to pick a fight, you're making a huge mistake."

[Yellow Peridot]

     She smirked as she said,"You don't know who I am. I am not Peridot nor a monster. I am my own sentient being. I am a deform in your little friend and I will always be here. I've killed many gems and no one has ever escaped unscathed from me, and if you don't listen to reason, you will be no exception. Now keep quiet and let me speak." She stood over Sugar, leaning in close to her face. Her giant tongue came out, almost touching Sugar. Saliva like liquid fell from it, onto her head. She chuckled and said, putting her tongue back into her jaw,"Or I'll have to eat that physical form of yours, but I'll spare your gem like you spared hers." Peridot was completely gone. This sadistic personality was personality has won.

Okay, now this was too much. Was the peridot corrupted to some degree? Probably. Otherwise Sug wouldn't be faced with this miscolored abomination. Letting out an agitated sigh as the beast continued to talk, Sugar considered her options. She could always shoot the gem, but given how it took three point blank shots to down her when she wasn't a freak, Sugar doubted it would be any more effective now. Option B was run, which is definitely something she wouldn't do under most circumstances. However, this was definitely not most circumstances.

So the second Peridot stopped talking, Sugar vanished, gone in a flash of light. She could find that Agate later and make him pay, but now, getting back to Obsidian was priority number one. There were definitely some weird goings on on this planet, and the scientist should know about them.
