Appearance:
Personality:
Pink Star is generally reserved, and speaks in a soft tone of voice. She holds loyalty in particular to the human family that took her in. Tending to act as both servant and guardian to them, a role which she finds to be rather naturally fitting. She is grateful for their kindness, and tends to reflect their traits when dealing with 'outsiders'. Namely by showing compassion to those in need. However, just as she is capable of great kindness, she... Has a few issues with vengeance. Those that cross her or the family that she is in debt to tend to find out about it.
Very fast. And rather painfully. She is well versed in keeping her masters safe no matter the cost. She views disloyalty very poorly, and though she may not outright attack over it, it will cause her to be dismissive of the persons in question. She can be quick to judge, and often requires the aid of those she cares about to be reined back in a little.

Honesty

Betrayal
Fears:
She fears that she may end up hurting or wronging the family that took her in, in some fashion. More than this, she is aware of both her anger and her penchant to deliver judgement on those that cross her. This causes her fear because she believes that she could judge someone wrongly and thus cause them unnecessary harm; even if she tries to be as efficient and painless as possible.
She also fears being alone. Separated from her family by some means, it is currently all she knows, even the thought itself is enough to cause her to be a little clingy. Suffice to say, she tends not to be far from those she cares about unless there is danger, in which case she faces it personally, but also fears what might happen if she were to fail.
Weapon:
Heightened Weaponry Control:
Her notable power is an extremely heightened control over her weaponry, allowing her to make use of two feats. The first is the ability to throw her blade with impressive force as if it were a bullet fired from a gun; and then on it's impact, warp to it's location and grasps it's hilt. Granting her the feat of teleportation for both attack and defense. There is one last feat she is capable of because of this control.
She can summon more than just two of her sword. She can summon several, and then orbit them around her person, or one other target. These blades can then act as shields to any incoming attacks. She can instead form a line with these weapons, but the defense will of course no longer have it's 360 degree coverage. While both of these are effective, they are only as strong as she is and how well she can use them to her advantage.
Star Painite:
A form of power that she has yet to unlock; it demands extreme emotional and physical stress in order to access for the first time, and further making use of it is an exhaustive feat. It can be trained, however. What the form does however, is extend the control normally limited to her weapons to her own body, allowing her to take flight, as well as enhance her reflexes and agility to accommodate for that.
It is however, untapped. She is not aware that she holds this power, nor the means to unlock it for use.
Fusions: None as of yet.
History:
Pink Star Painite is one of the newest gems made on Earth. Created just a few days before the Crystal Gem Rebellion had officially started with the isolation of Earth from the Homeworld. She is a rare type of Gem, determined to be, at least thus far, one of a kind. It is because of this that indications of her caste were already made clear with her particular set of skills. Versed in combat, no stranger to duels or to fighting off multiple assailants. Thus her role in the caste would be both Servant and Bodyguard. Essentially 'to be worn'. A symbol of power and status not unlike a Pearl, only exceptionally more rare. Filling out a double role of something that a Quartz Soldier would be capable of as well. Of course, it never really panned out, her becoming Pink Diamond's Servant, that is. The warps were destroyed, the communication hubs were sabotaged. Every Gem that was on Earth, including Pink Star... Were now trapped there. At first they were just content to go on with business as usual. But then it became pretty apparent that it was going to stay like this.
Some Gems still kept their loyalty to the Homeworld. Pink Star herself however, was in quite the predicament. Her gestation period; draining the energy of the surrounding land in order to stabilize her human form as an adult, was a process that took quite some time. Two years, in fact. It's no secret that Earth tends to produce more Quartz types than anything else. By the time it had finished, she found herself in a strange place that looked like it had taken quite the beating. She just... Wandered out. It was noisy there, and it was quiet outside. The further she went from that structure, the more peaceful it seemed to become. Unknowing to her, the Crystal Gem Rebellion had officially started on Earth thanks to a message delivered by Rose Quartz. Consequently, this was a message that she missed. But it was due to this rebellion finally kicking off that she was able to just walk out. No one was even aware she left.
Entirely unaware of her purpose, but in no threat of dying due to her nature as a Gem, she wandered Earth until she was eventually found by a family of Humans. They took her in, also unaware of her identity. By all rights, she was a blank slate unaware of their intended position with Homeworld. She didn't even know about the Crystal Gems. That hasn't changed even now. The only thing she does know is her name, as well as her ability to conjure a sword at will... More than just the one, at that. She can conjure several of them if she focuses enough.
It didn't take long for that power to be discovered, and she began to use those powers to show how grateful she was to the family that gave her a home. A purpose ironically not too unlike what she would receive within Homeworld's society. Although she remembered her given name as a Gem, it naturally didn't fit in with Human society. So she was given one by them as well; Sorine Caelum.
Character Arcs:
Discover her Identity - Pink Star Painite is entirely unaware of who or what she is beyond her name, and has since adopted the identity of a Human with... Powers. Discovering the Gems, learning what they are, as well as the divide currently between them will lead to huge opportunities for development. Which leads right into...
Determining her Place - As a blank slate, she has a choice on who she wants to be and what she wants to fight for. Side with the Crystal Gems? With Homeworld? Or merely fight for the Humans and herself? Critical questions that she will be one day faced with upon discovering the truth behind herself. Those around her will be able to help shape what she becomes. Whether through positive actions or negative.
