It's not entirely clear what age rubies are meant to appear - but she's certainly standard Ruby-aged.

Ruby stands at a generic Ruby height, something like four feet tall. Her shirt (tunic?) features a diamond-shaped opening on the back, near her waist, to show her gem. She is hilariously generic otherwise, with her shorts and booties.
Personality: Ruby is not one of a kind. She is not a special snowflake.
She's just a Ruby.
That being said, she has no problem with being one of the crowd - Ruby soldiers were never created to believe in much individuality. She has a sunny disposition, and wanders Beach City looking for a Ruby captain that may or may not even exist. That doesn't bother her, though. Ruby knows that her captain is out there, and she'll search Beach City to find her; indefinitely if need be. She tries her best to make friends, as more friends means more gems on the lookout for her captain, but some latent fearfulness sometimes keeps that from being easy. Being a Ruby, she's also quick to defend her friends and allies.
Dislikes: Anyone who is unreasonably mean, or anyone who blocks her from finding her captain (on purpose.) She doesn’t necessarily dislike people that look down on her, as she understands her place, but sometimes it can make her uncomfortable.
Fears: Losing her Captain (for good,) her Captain, Diamond, or otherwise higher-up disapproving of her actions, and large waves of water.
Weapon: Ruby’s only weapon is a pair of ruby knuckledusters. These are like brass knuckles – melee weapons with spikes protruding from their front. They heat up, and the angrier Ruby is, the hotter her ruby knuckles become, up to white hot crystal in a rage. Ruby doesn’t summon them all that often, as she’s never quick to true anger, and when she does, the knuckles themselves are often warm or slightly hot.
Ability 1: Thermokinesis
Although a lowly ruby, Ruby still possesses the powers that (seemingly) all rubies do. This means that Ruby can gently raise the temperature of the environment around her, or cause objects to conflagrate, should her emotions run high enough.
Ability 2: Heat Resistance
Once again, as a standard ruby ability, Ruby is resistant to heat. This means that she could conceivably walk through hot coals, fire, or lava with no problem. Ruby has never done this before. She’s never really had a reason to.
Fusions: None. Conceivably could fuse with other rubies to make one large Ruby.
History: Ruby Facet-3T2T, Cut-6KP is a Homeworld-trained Gem under Yellow Diamond’s jurisdiction. She had no defining characteristics or personality traits. She was one of many, a soldier trained from the ground up to carry no identity other than that of a ruby soldier. Of course, she had her own personality quirks that made her curious and determined, but in the grand scheme of things, she was just another ruby. She looked at other Gems and knew her place almost immediately. She understood she was small of stature, and placed peridots above herself, and quartz soldiers above them, and jaspers – and at the top, the diamonds, obviously. It wasn’t as if she thought it was unfair, she never thought it was a problem; she never knew anything else. So, she lived like normal ruby soldier, being called for missions when she was needed. When the rebellion began, she was one of many rubies that boarded ships bound for Earth. Her Captain, Ruby Facet-1A3G, Cut-3RG, was a charismatic leader who had given pep-talks to her squad for as long as Ruby could remember. The Captain was her idol, who she strived to be like in her everyday actions. She fought with her Captain in her heart.
However, Ruby’s ship was disabled on its entry into Earth’s atmosphere, and crashed in some unidentified woods. With their shields disabled by some unknown force, the ship crumpled and the rubies all fell out, many poofing on impact. When Ruby reformed, she saw that most, if not all, members of her squad had actually been shattered in the crash, the burning wreckage of her ship beginning to catch dry brush and dead leaves ablaze. Ruby didn’t care, though – she hardly knew those other rubies. Her Captain was what mattered, and she followed the only pair of footprints that lead from the site. The footprints lead to the road, where they ended, and Ruby looked up the road, following it to nearby Jersey. All signs pointed to the Captain being there. However, Earth was fascinating and beautiful and wonderful, and Ruby wasn’t unaware. She took in the natural beauty as she walked, but always remembered what she was doing here – looking for her Captain.
