Vesuvianite understood what was the problem for Agate, and knew how much of a bother it should be, but she had her own objectives right now, and being dedicated to her Diamond, getting Peridot back up was the priority. And seeing that Agate didn't get along with the other gem, she didn't want for the atmosphere to be so heavy and Vesuve wasn't really a good gem at negotiation, even if she tried sometimes. But she didn't really answer Bloodstone when talking about being seperated, just acknowledging what she said.
Vesuve warped again before talking towards Agate, "To put it simply, Gaspeite is very resistant, although it cost the separation of our gems which shouldn't happen, technicallyweweretoounstabletolivefusedthroughsuchanimpactandsinceitwasverypowerful, whereasanyothergemwouldsurelypooforevenshatter, weheldbecausewewereafusionandavertankyoneatthat, anditsveryhelpfulinalotofscenariosbutthistimeweendedupunfusingandwereblownapartfromtheimpactzone.
However, Peridot is a technician, I am sure she will be able to fix your ship mostly, it's not completely wrecked. At least, we've seen much worse." she said, before following everyone inside the ship.

Fuscite had just lowered the boarding ladder when the deranged captain decided to begin shouting. Again. Steadying it for the injured gems, the old explorer slightly shook her head - gesturing for them to board whilst Fire Agate berated her. "You are out of your line AND league, infidel. - I'm not some deranged captain, I'm a Commanding Officer in Her Grand Majesty Yellow Diamond's nigh infinite army!" In what Fuscite assumed to be an attempt at intimidation, the deranged 'officer' summoned her weapon. A terrifyingly imposing stick of two feet, Fuscite couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the sight of it. Was this gem really trying to give her the chills with a thick twig? Surely, this captain was delusional. Surely. Placing her plated forearm on the rungs of the ladder, Fuscite leaned on it for support as her chuckle crescendoed into a full-blown laugh. Taking a few breaths to compose herself, Fuscite stood upright once more. Pointing a thumb towards the interior of Old Ironsides, Fuscite exhaled slightly. "Get in. We'll talk on...the way there." she said bluntly. The longer they lingered here, the longer it'd be before the gems were healed. Fortunately, the un-poofed half of the fusion stepped in and managed to persuade the flame-hued kommandant to enter the ship. She just couldn't keep her mouth shut, however, and just had to make another remark as she climbed up. "Needless to say, if my ship wasn't wrecked by your incompetent companion, we wouldn't have to use this oversized pile of garbage to fly."
Fortunately, Tanzanite hadn't heard Fire Agate's first statement, due to being in the cockpit. However, after having gotten the ship ready for take-off, she had migrated over to the drop bay. Assisting the injured gems onto the ship, Fuscite's purple compatriot was merely a few feet away when Fire Agate called her incompetent. Both of the gems shut the drop bay doors and got into the cockpit, Fuscite reigning in Tanzanite the whole way. Several Holo-Fuscites appeared outside the cockpit and moved to assist the gems in sitting down, standing nearby as Old Ironsides began moving. Lurching forward, the engines roared with a deafening boom - rocketing Fuscite's ancient vessel into the sky.
As the rural green of their hideaway in New Zealand (or whatever it's called in Steven Universe) faded from view, Fuscite commanded her co-pilot to take over - the Agate had to be dealt with. Entering the hallways of her cruiser, faint flashbacks of her time before Earth haunted the back recesses of her memory. Shuddering, the veteran opened the door to where the gems were, leaning on the frame. "Commanding Officer, eh?" She began. "No Kommandant I've...met...cares so...little...for her crew. Explain.Has Homeworld changed...so much...in my absence?" Fuscite let the words hang in the air for several moments, awaiting the inevitable response.
Bloodstone sighed and shook his head, watching Fire Agate and Fuscite have the mini argument...or whatever it is that you could call it. Octi smiled though as they sat down next to Vesuvianite once they were fairly into the sky. The initial launch had only thrown them back a little but it was still enough for them to not expect it.
"Well...at least we're on our way now. Hopefully we can make it there soon and get Peridot fixed up like new. I know that things will better soon."
Octi smiled softly at Vesuve, trying their best to reassure her as they looked out the window, watching the Earth got a little bit bigger than it had been, environment getting smaller.
"Can't remember the last time I was ever in space like this...it's kind of amazing honestly"
"Do you realize that my crew would have been flying up there if it wasn't for your idiocy? - And do you realize that the only reason you are still alive is the fact that I need a damn pilot to fly this ancient heap of garbage to actually SAVE 'my crew'? - Was it not for that, you wouldn't be acting so arrogantly, you uncultivated lump of dirt."
Fire Agate explained clearly and loudly as it befits her own status, feeling insulted by what Fuscite has to say about her. Her insults are touching the Quartz Officer on a very personal level due to the way she always sought to lead her troops. - It was unprecedented for someone like Fuscite to even doubt her methods. - There was no doubt that Fire Agate was beyond the point of mere rage, she straight out felt hatred Fuscite's comments and condescending behavior, which she wasn't accustomed to. - As her speech progressed, the sentences were progressively getting faster and more run-on, showing no signs of slowing down.
"You don't know anything about who I do or don't care about, mongrel. - Just because you think something is true doesn't mean it is. Do you really think that I would stomach your blabbering insolence if it wasn't for the fact that those two are about to get themselves killed? -Do you really think I wouldn't have wrecked this ship inside out if it wasn't for the fact that one of them is literally dying?! - AND DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO LECTURE ME ABOUT WHAT I DO OR DO NOT CARE ABOUT?!"
Fire Agate exclaimed rapidly before she paused for a moment to catch her breath in order to resume the (admittedly pretty justified) shrieking. "So I will ask you again. - WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO LECTURE ME ABOUT THIS?!"

Vesuvianite didn't really feel about being inside a ship around Earth anymore, regarding how her crew got smashed to bits which lead her to crash on Earth. But there weren't any corrupted monsters, here, which was reassuring. She was sitting legs crossed even though she hated sitting, but the blast didn't affect her at all, nor the bubble she was holding. Fire Agate was making a yota of noise, which started getting on Vesuve's nerves even though she understood both points of view very well. The only way this could have been stopped would have been Gaspeite, but Vesuve, in her state, wouldn't have been able to help any side. She wanted to thank the gems for the drive to the fountain, but the fact that they were having the.. spiced conversation... was making it a matter for other time.
After warping again, Vesuve turned to Octi, talking low enough so the others wouldn't understand, which was still not a whisper. "Have you ever... fused before?", she said in a rather direct but interested tone. She wasn't expecting a truth or a lie, but just an expression.

Fuscite waited patiently with a relaxed posture, gazing at the Agate as she yelled again. This woman *really* liked to yell. Nonetheless, her point of view had been presented in a somewhat...aggressive fashion. Taking a few moments to make sure she wouldn't shout back, Fuscite exhaled slowly. "Your threats are meaningless...Your points invalid." She crossed her arms, adopting an equally assertive stance as the Agate. "Your forces attempted...to board our ship. Without hailing us...I might add. Tanzanite followed protocol...and adequately neutralized...the perceived threat. Need I remind you...that this...entire...planet...is a battleground?" Friendly fire is...always a possibility..especially...when communication...is nonexistent. On another note...I've killed beasts...far more deadly...than an Agate. Part of the job." The aged explorer paused for a few seconds before resuming, adjusting a gauntlet. Agate's insult to the ship, although a wee bit stinging (just a wee bit, totally), was understandable given her emotionally compromised state. The captain would see her statement disproved soon, anyways. "I speak...to you...as a teacher. An omen. An old, withered soul...tossed aside...by the empire...she helped create. I tell you...to care for...your crew because...they may well...be all you...have left...one day. Do understand that...whining about your...ship whilst there...are wounded to...tend to...does not give...a great...first impression. Further conflict would be...beneficial to neither...of us." Fuscite extended a hand towards the captain, the antennae on her helmet shifting slightly. "I do believe...that we have...not yet made...formal acquaintances. I am Fuscite."
Bloodstone actually blushed a little, having not expected that question from Vesuvianite
"Erm...only once. It was with Carbide and even then it was purely on accident. We were just on the beach and..in all honesty I can't really remember what happened. It was a bit of a rush though in all honesty. Felt kinda nice"
Octi looked over at Vesuve and smiled softly, not sure what else to say
"Why do you ask..? Fusion in all honesty is something I've thought of in the past but I never really thought about um...well trying it on purpose before. It's a concept that I'm...nervous about."
He sighed as they listened to the yelling Agate was doing and the responses Fuscite had
Fire Agate listened to Fuscite, partially infuriated by her speech but without the will to even bother in leading on this senseless banter, which was clearly leading to nothing more than further frustration from the fact the she is unable to form a stable conversation with Fuscite at all. - She only sighed and turned away by the moment Fuscite introduced herself.
"I already told you who I am."
She simply replied, returning to wherever her seat would be. From thereon, Fire Agate just sat on the spot quietly without uttering a single word for rest of the flight, clearly she is bothered by the discussion and/or memories it might have evoked. - Well, this isn't surprising at all... Fire Agate's mental state is one big roller coaster after all.

Vesuvianite didn't expect an actual answer from Bloodstone. While the little commotion stopped inside the ship, Vesuvianite blushed and rose an eyebrow, all while shifting to a side smile. "Kinda nice" what does that mean? "So you've fused, and with Carbide?... Well, that was unexpected, heh.
She said before glancing her view to Agate, which was sitting down calmly now. Vesuve continued to talk with a neutral face from now, seemingly thinking whiole she talked.
"I was asking for no reason, really. I'm only interested because I want to know how a genuine fusion feels like, if you know what I mean."
Vesuvianite then adjusted herself in her seat, seemingly getting more comfortable although she didn't feel the need to. She only cared about arriving as fast as they could to the fountain right now, but gems don't start cracking themselves, so there was no genuine hurry.

Tanzanite had been humming the entire flight, completely oblivious to the tensions rising behind her. Diving the plane below the clouds, she hollered for Fuscite to return to the cockpit. As the plane began to dip, Fuscite strolled back to Tanzanite's location and slid into the pilot's chair - dissipating the Holo-Fuscite currently occupying her seat in the process.
Far below lay Rose's fountain, faintly shimmering in the sunlight. Fuscites adjusted the angle of attack her vessel was descending at, compensating for air resistance as the ship began to shake slightly. Activating the air brakes, both Fuscite and Tanzanite worked to turn the cruiser in a banking maneuver as they shed speed - flying past the fountain and going in for a nearby landing. Activating the landing gear, Fuscite hit the landing flaps and shut off the air brakes, her ancient vessel coasting to a gentle stop a few dozen meters away.
Octi smiled a tiny bit, it would be fair for Vesuvianite to wonder how a genuine fusion went given the...circumstances. Bloodstone wasn't sure what else to add as he noticed the ship starting to get closer and closer to the fountain. Once the ship landed, the berserker sighed and stood up, helping Vesuvianite stand up.
"Well, I suppose we should get a move on. No sense in trying to delay stuff here."
Bloodstone pulled out two of his chains, just in case any gem or gem monster may try to attack the group as they made their way to the fountain.
"So...do any of you know how to get to the main fountain? I think I remember how to get there if my memory serves me"
Bloodstone looked at Vesuvianite, Fire Agate and the others, just to see how ready everyone was
Fire Agate walked out of the Ship, slowly following Bloodstone while she was in turn followed by her pack of wild rubies, hassling out of control behind her. - She looked around before spotting the destination of their flight, the Fountain covered in a maze of roses... How poetic of Rose Quartz to hide her fountain of tears behind walls of roses. - This was so invigorating to her that it froze her in place. She couldn't possibly believe that Fuscite would intend to bathe Homeworld gems in the piss of a traitor.
"You can't be serious. - I'm not going to let you bathe good, Homeworld soldiers in the disgusting lacrimal essence of that fiendish traitor, Rose Quartz... I would rather die than getting myself fixed by... bathing in whatever that disgusting pool of liquid down there is."
Fire Agate started talking again, more or less being just the background voice of Homeword loyalty that seemed to be nearly non-existent in this group of rabble. Her voice was clearly aggressive, but she figured that the Gems around her wouldn't pay much attention to what she had to say... After all, she was accompanied by a cocky Fuscite, a dying fusion and... whatever abomination Bloodstone is. - Not to mention the horrible, purple audiophile and her ruby baboons.

Vesuve jumped out of the ship with the bubble still in her hand and took a couple of steps around- she didn't remember the place correctly. Of course her memory was missing, right in her hand. She didn't really mind anything that wasn't a threat to them or that wasn't in their way and such.
"We are plenty serious. But, Agate this place isn't meant to represent that one Rose Quartz scum, it's meant to represent them as a whole. Obviously she couldn't have built it by herself, nor would she have the time to fill everything while also not being on Earth, she said before clearing her throat while looking around. "Even though I've never been here before, I can say we're at the fountain Octi."
Vesuvianite was starting to close the dozen meter gap between her and the fountain but seeing the imposing presence of the statue and the wideness of the area she was just slightly slowing down as she got closer to admire the whole thing already thinking up what to do and where to go around the place to find an appropriate depth so she could just drop her gem without drowning it too much.

Fuscite slowly hopped down from the plane and meandered over to the fountain, dipping a gauntlet into the cooling water. "This is the... only thing that... can heal gems... Agate." The armored explorer glanced over at the Homeworld officer. "The safety... of your crew... is worth anything." Standing up after several minutes had passed, she jogged back to the drop bay - where Tanzanite had been waiting to bring down a large rack full of small, rectangular cases. Grabbing an end of said rack, Fuscite and Tanzanite carefully maneuvered it off of Old Ironsides and rested it several feet away from the fountain. Tanzanite shook her head at Fire Agate and intensely hummed as she strolled back to the ship, obviously unhappy with the Agate's attitude.
Fuscite ran her fingers along each case, as if counting them all out. The ancient explorer repeated this process several times, sighing with relief as she placed her hand on the edge of the carrier. "That... disgusting pool... is a boon. You will learn... to appreciate it... in the coming conflict." Slowly removing one of the cases from it's position on the rack, the green gem opened it and stared through her visor for several moments - a heavily cracked Fuscite gem inside.
"As much as I know you probably hate it, this place is a bit of a neutral zone in this fight. Fuscite's right, you'l learn to appreciate the fountain's existence in time. Seems like everyone does one way or another"
Bloodstone looked at the cases that had been rolled out, taking note of how many cracked gems there must have been if his suspicions were right..quite the load to bear both metaphorically and literally if the ship had been holding that this whole time
"I can act as a bit of a lookout if you all think we need one. The healing process shouldn't take too long if I remember correctly...just make sure any gems you put in are sufficiently in the water"
Melody: as usual, just waiting for posts

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
