Sylvine Facet-3C2A Cut-2UV
Appeared Gender:
Female
Appeared Age:
12
Gemstone:
Sylvine/Sylvite Sylvine is another name for sylvite
Gemstone Location: Cheek
Faction: Homeworld
Corrupted:(Y/N) nope
Appearance:
Personality: Sylvine is a fun loving gem, who's often considered childish. She likes to make everything a game, trying to have fun whenever possible, however she's capable of seeing when it isn't appropriate to be foolish and when it is. She wants her squad to succeed, even more than she wants to just have fun, and will try her best when the time is right. She looks up to all three of her fellow squad members, considering them all to be capable of anything. She is a little too confident in her team's abilities, believing them to be capable of things even when they aren't capable of them in the slightest. This confidence isn't only with her team mates, but also with herself. She believes that she is strong, and able to take on almost anything, despite having abilities that are completely worthless without the help of others. She doesn't like to sit around and do nothing, and gets overly excited about new missions and coming to new planets. However, she's naive to danger, taking risks when they aren't worth taking, and putting herself and even her team in danger. She's a very encouraging gem, always telling others that they are strong in their own unique ways, and cheering on others wildly. Some may consider her annoying as well, as she will try to get them to have fun with her when she gets bored. She gets more annoying as she gets bored, bugging relentlessly for attention and playmates.

Weapon:
Sylvine's weapon is a sharp heart shaped object that functions similarly to a throwing star. They are sharp all the way around, and can be thrown at enemies, or used up close as a not so great melee weapon in her hand. The hearts are actually explosive, but will not explode on their own. They will only explode if heated or set on fire by an outside force/gem, Sylvine cannot make them explode on her own. The explosion would be small, causing a blast that is about half a meter in radius.
Ability 1: Healing Hearts
Sylvine has the ability to help a gem recover instantly. This will not heal a cracked or damaged gemstone, the ability is limited to curing a gem of exhaustion. For example, a gem could be getting tired, and feeling weak from a fight, and Sylvine could make them feel like new again. The ability takes one post to be completed, however it requires the other gem to be within a meter of Sylvine's gem, and it has a cool down of 4 self posts.
Ability 2: Helping Hearts
Sylvine can empower another gem with a temporary strength increase. This ability will boost the attacks of a gem, both in power and knock back. It will not affect anything other than strength and knock back. It won't make a gem faster, it won't give them more range, it won't help them in anyway other than the damage they do, and the knock back of that damage. The boost requires one post to be completed, and has a cool down of 4 self posts, very similar to the other ability. It also requires the other gem to be within a meter of Sylvine's gem. The boost will double the damage a gem deals, and the knock back that their attacks will have. It will not have an affect on projectiles, only physical attacks. For example, it could make a spin dash deal twice the injury and send a gem back twice as far, but it would do nothing for a gem shooting a bow or a bomb. The effect will last for 3 of that gem's posts, and then wear off immediately.
Weaknesses: No matter what Sylvine says, she sucks at fighting up close, and pretty much all combat in general. She is on the team to boost her comrades from behind, and not to actually do much of the fighting at all. Because she is a support soldier, she is also terrible at 1 on 1 fighting. In order to be easily defeated, a gem could target her first, and take her out before she gets to even use her abilities to help out her team.
Fusions: none
History: Sylvines are divided into groups of four based on their variations. Similar to a deck of cards, the four variations are the diamonds (who are designated leaders of the squads), hearts (who are support soldiers), Clubs (who are typically the melee soldiers), and Spades (Who are typically the ranged soldiers). These well rounded squads function similarly to the Ruby squads, the main difference between them and rubies, is a slightly higher intelligence when compared to the rubies, and they are just slightly weaker than Rubies physically. Because the two squads are very similar, the Sylvine squad will often try to prove that they are better than rubies, and can be considered rivals to them.
This Sylvine is the designated heart of the Sylvine squad. She was made normally under Yellow Diamond's authority, and assigned to a squad to train with them for some time. After that training, she was moved into the Sylvine squad that she's in today. They were sent on their first mission ever, in a small space ship similar to the ruby ship. Their mission was to report to an agate on another one of Yellow Diamond's planets, however they set the coordinates incorrectly and ended up crash landing on Earth.
Character Arcs:
-The Sylvine Squad crash lands on Earth due to them mistaking an o for a zero when they entered the coordinates
-The Sylvine Squad learns of the rebellion and realises that they are stranded on Earth
-Sylvine #2 sneaks off on her own and meets a crystal gem, learning of why they want to protect the Earth
-Sylvine #2 chooses between siding with Earth or her own squad
-Sylvine #2 Decides to become a crystal gem, and tries to convince her team mates to join her
