Personality: Cinnabar is very energetic and doesn't like to sit still for too long. She loves exploring the world and interacting with it's inhabitants, and one of the reasons she joined the Rebellion was to aid in protecting the Earth so she can continue doing so. Cinnabar has a darker side which she keeps hidden, and where her second reason stems from: she holds deep resentment for Diamonds and the order they have on Homeworld. Cinnabar is actually a very shy Gem, but likes to keep it hidden because she doesn't want anyone to use this against her. It manifests is small ways, such as her shuffling her feet

Likes/Dislikes: She likes Earth and all the inhabitants of it, including her fellow Crystal Gems. She dislikes the Diamond Authority and Homeworld as a whole, and she dislikes being lied to.

Fears: Sharing the same fate as her best friend

Weapon: She wields two medium-length swords, both around 65 cm in size
Abilities:
Fire manipulation, Flaming blades
Ability 1: She can create a fireball the size of a tennis ball and launch it at her enemies. She can also manipulate fires that already exists nearby (if there are any), making them grow stronger or weaker, depending on what her intentions are at the time. She can use the existing flames as a weapon in a similar manner. The range cutoff for this ability is 15 meters.
Ability 2: Flaming blades: She can combine the flames with her swords, and create a flaming swords in the process. This ability lasts for three posts, then the swords revert to normal and this ability can't be used again for three posts.

Fusions: None yet

History: Cinnabar was created for Yellow Diamond. Her best friend was created around the same time, and for the same Diamond. They were working together for years under Yellow Diamond, fulfilling the missions the best they could. During that time, Cinnabar began to notice how Diamonds treated different Gem classes differently, and began to wonder if perhaps the system was flawed if different class Gems lived such different lives. When Cinnabar brought this subject to her best friend, they agreed with her. Both decided to try and change their way of thinking by bringing the issue to Yellow Diamond, together.

Two days after that, Cinnabar noticed that her friend was missing. She searched everywhere for them, but found nothing. Eventually, she was informed that they were shattered for going against the Diamond Authority. Cinnabar's world shattered at that moment. She realized that her friend must have confronted the Diamonds about the issue by themselves and paid the price. She began to resent the Diamond Authority for their lack of care about other Gems and for what they did to her friend. The resentment grew stronger and stronger as the time passed. Eventually, Cinnabar realized that there was a Rebellion forming against the Diamond Authority. She decided to join and change the system by force, since it couldn't be changed peacefully, and possibly avenge her old friend in the process



Character Arcs:
New Recruit: Cinnabar becomes a part of the Rebellion, gets to meet her fellow Rebels and generally adjusts to the idea of fighting alongside them. In her free time, she interacts with humans and other living creatures nearby.

Training: Cinnabar does some training exercises by herself, in order to grow stronger and improve her weapon wielding as well as her abilities.

The News: Cinnabar tries to adjust accordingly to some unpleasant news.

So may want to give the actual length of the swords.Average Length can change between different types of swords.


Elemental Powers such as Earth,Wind,Water,Fire, Heart don't need post cooldowns,often with those,especially fire,we just ask for a range cut off for the fire and maybe defining what a moderately sized fireball is?


The Sword Fire power,maybe more so, but your cooldowns and stuff are a little overboard, if you want to have it run for 3 posts,you can just have the cooldown be 3 posts (Remembering that posts refer to posts you make in the thread,and not 3 general posts in the thread (So others peoples posts don't count towards your cooldown or duration)

I am unsure about what would the length of sword of average length be in length unit, that's why I put it that way. As for the rest, I will fix it.

(I just meant as in how long is the sword in feet,meters,whatever unit you normally use, IE:Normal Long swords are anywhere between 16 cm to 28 cm)

A image of a fireball is not good referance either,im sorry if i was unclear,standard thing would be either comparing it to something (Tennis bal,Baseball,dodgeball ect) or a actual measurement IE 5 cm diameter.

350 meters may be a little far,like as reference range stuff tends to cut off around 15 meters (Its 30 - 40 feet, i use metric,but most people on here are American.)

Ill run this as accepted though,so you can post around,its just the thread has not been moved. Dont forgot to change that range.

I don't know where else to put this, so I am putting it here. If I have one idea for a character arc, am I allowed to hint at it during earlier arcs or save it exclusively for that arc?
