As much as they, and presumably she, would like to forget all about what had occurred just a handful of frantic minutes ago, they both knew that it wasn't something that could be easily dismissed. And even if it was, it would be dangerously imprudent to discard such potentially important data after all the..work..they had put in tonight to obtain it. That was what their logical mind deducted, anyway, as the rest of the seemingly-confident Quartz felt strangely like curling up into themselves and disappearing rather than deal with the what had happened; This was certainly not a common feeling for them.
“I agree,’ they admittedly lightly, gesturing around with clear exasperation, “it's almost like static in here.” Living static, pointless, flickering and distracting..a good enough analogy for the Earth and it's infamous residents if there ever was one. The dark color returned to their cheeks at the mention of..of what might have happened between them. “Right, ah..I certainly was not..ahem,” they reach up to claw their fingers through their short-cropped mane, eager to distract themselves, “expecting that either..” as for having done it, well..
They practically jumped at the mention of vacating, though, they'd had enough of this place. “I thought you would never asked,” they answer eagerly, stepping past her to put a shoulder against the door.. before reaching for the knob as well. More than anything, they wanted a moment to, as the humans said, catch their breath.
