Making a pause for dramatic effect, Radiant answered: "Very good. Yes,they are mostly summaries of history. However, they mostly are not from homeworld." The white beryl looked into Cat's Eye's eyes, seeing if she was pleased that she was right. "They are historic records of humans. These creatures, I cannot point my finger at it, but I obsess over them. Maybe it is the free will they have compared to us? Or perhaps, their striking variety. Nevertheless, their history on this little, lonely earth is much more interesting then that of homeworld or any other plamet I have seen. Radiant went back to his seat, working on what he did before. He looked into the night sky and continued his work.
Cat's Eye's mouth went into a huge smile at the sound that she was correct. "Yay..." she uttered softly, just enough that she could hear herself. Indeed, she was pleased, but she did not want to interrupt the white beryl's explanation on what exactly the books were on. After Radiant had finished her explanation, all she gave was a simple, "Okay," and returned to an empty chair. She had no further questions, but she was, at the very least, happy that she now had an answer on the gem's interest in humans. Admittedly, all of those things were true about humans, or least, she thinks they are. Looking back out of the balcony into the night sight, the yellow gem started to feel a little dreary all of a sudden. Learning so much in one day can be tiring, especially to gems like herself. Getting up from her seat, she walked over to an empty spot of the floor and laid down, and her tired eyes glanced up to Radiant. "I think I'll sleep here, if you don't mind," she told the beryl.
"Sure, go ahead." Radiant was preety tired himself, so going back to his seat, he tried falling asleep on the table, resting on his protocols and papers. He still had his eyes open, looked at Cat's Eye and said, with smile conveying irony: "You are really are worthy of your name." The white beryl never had an easy time falling asleep, but he still tried nontheless. Slowly, he closed his eyey, drifting away, thinking about what exactly to do with the yellow gem tomorrow. Some ideas were forming, then being discarded and new ones being produced immediately. Then, after some time, he fell asleep, becoming completely silent as he's and head lay on the table, the paperpiles serving as pseudo-pillows.
The night passed on peacefully as the two gems slept. Cat's Eye fell asleep pretty quickly, to her own surprise. For someone who did not sleep often, falling asleep was easier than she thought. The yellow gem didn't have any special dreams in particular. If she did, she just did not remember them. A quiet snore emitted from her, but otherwise, she made no extra sound or movements. As night turned to dawn, dawn to morning, the world around them got lighter... and lighter. When sunlight shined into the balcony, Cat's Eye finally woke up. Sitting up from where she was laying previously, she blinked, trying to get her eyes adjusted to the light. The gem looked over at where the white beryl was sleeping, and gave a small smile. She then looked out at the sky, which was clear and blue. Today, perhaps, would be a new day.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
