Miscommunications (C:Rafa)

The sapphire slowed her pace so she could keep stride with the rest of the group, and listened with her brows pulled together while PR spoke. It made sense to her why PR might not want to face her shattering, and she seemed to be telling the truth, but that still didn't explain this anomalous mind that the peridot possessed. There was something hidden beneath the surface, and the sapphire always felt a prickle down her nape when she knew there was something more to the story that wasn't being said.

From the gem's own words, PR wasn't able to control herself. Padparadscha began to second guess bringing the gem here, to the moonbase headquarters; the last time she had brought an uncontrolled gem here, and gave them the benefit of the doubt, they had gone loose and caused destruction in the hanger before being put down by guards. The sapphire didn't want to be responsible for another fiasco, but she also wanted PR to turn around and become a productive member of society.

"Hmm," She pressed her lips together as she contemplated the fact that PR felt she would be shattered for failing her missions multiple times, and the sapphire began to wonder,"Say, PR...have you always had trouble with self control? Have you been this way since you emerged?" She asked a sensitive question very pointedly, but she felt confident enough to do so while the gem was in restraints, and while her trusted comrade 3JJ was ready to act. The sapphire's large eyes peered over to the green gem as she walked, passing through the door of the hanger, into the busy hallway. "It's normal to feel scared when your superiors make such harsh judgments. Never fear, you're in Pink Diamond's jurisdiction now," She hoped that would encourage the gem to say more about her situation, therefore giving Padparadscha more data to make a sound decision from.

"I didn't emerge like that, something happened between these years that... Did this to me" PR was feeling a unbearable pain on her chest, right into her Gem, couldn't walk as fast as Padparadscha anymore, but she tried to hide the pain, although couldn't hide the panting, heavy breath and her right hand on its chest.

"T-Thanks, i will keep moving on..." She kept following Padparadscha, also looking back at the Pearl to check if she was still upset by something Peridot or even herself have made. Then she noticed her Headwear had fallen on the floor, so she came back slowly to pick up and fell, but stood up after a while coming back to where Padparadscha was to follow her.

The heft of data she required was not dispensed, much to her quiet frustration, but she wouldn't press the delicate matter, especially when PR seemed to be flagging from exhaustion. Her lips pursed as her eyes flicked up and down the gem, looking for signs of damage; then she decided the damage must have existed somewhere deeper in the crystaline structure of the gem. Padparadscha wasn't herself a medical technician, and so couldn't offer much support for this part of PR's redemption journey, but she could continue to guide the gem to someone who could help.

"I see...I will create a case report for you and send it to Euclase's Pearl. She is the overseer and caretaker of the medical facility, and she will be able to assign top-of-the-line doctors to your care," --and observation. There was no way Padparadscha would pass up the chance to investigate and understand a mind like PR's; after all, many of the criminal gems that she encountered seemed to be suffering with some manner of incurable condition. If she could put in more time to understand this one, perhaps it could help her understand others more easily. She slowed to a stop, as did her cohort of servants, then looked at the peridot,"You seem to be in pain, PR. Do you need an emergency dispatch or do you feel you can make it to the medical facility with us?"

PR was glad that Padparadscha was really caring about her too, after all if you're not feeling left on a place so far from what you call home, certainly is not that bad. At this point PR was weak enough to lose control literally anytime, but for some reason she was still keeping it together. After she could heal herself with her Spikes or something like that, she was committed to be friends with Padparadscha and her crew. "Thanks my Clari- ... My Friend" She smiled at Padparadscha even feeling a horrible pain. Maybe PR could cover the pain with a friend like that.

When heard if needed more help, she didn't think twice. "I may need it..." She whispered to herself. "... But i really don't want to trouble you with this, i'll be better, this happened before many times" Indeed this happens often with her Gem depending of the use of her Healing Shoulder Spikes. But now maybe she didn't even needed to use them, she was going to a medical facility after all.

At being called a friend, Padparadscha's brows bounced up in surprise, but she gave a light smile. The constantly busy sapphire considered all Homeworld gems her comrades despite having little time to bond with them, so for PR to call her a friend was a step in the right direction. She hoped this gem would soon be reformed from her rebellious ways, but that would come in due time.

For now, she gave a curt nod,"Right, I shall call in a dispatch of Diaspores," Padparadscha tapped her wrist and brought up her holoscreen, then perused until she sent out the message to her personal medic squad. "They will be here post-haste. It's no trouble, and in fact the sooner we can get you medical help, the sooner we can move to the next phase of your reintegration into society," She spoke with a matter-of-fact tone. Though, her head tilted to the side as she scanned the peridot's physical form, looking closely for telltale signs of distress that may telegraph what PR was thinking. The sparse words the gem offered piqued the inquisitive mind of the sapphire, who needed answers for her many questions, yet she knew from her past encounters that gems that pressing for answers could cause more harm than good. With a small flourish, she tapped her wrist again to put away the holoscreen, and neatly folded her arms together as she stood with the group and waited for the Diaspore team to show up.

Pink Pearl and 3JJ lingered nearby; the pink servant kept her eyes moving between PR and Padparadscha, but the Jasper kept her gaze locked onto the dissident gem. The corners of Jasper's lips pulled down ever so slightly, and there was a dangerous glint in the young soldier's eyes.

Soon, a team of four short and spry gems rounded the corner and marched down the hall with haste. They were each identical with impassionate, monotone expressions, and wore pink uniforms accented with yellow. Three of them walked straight up to PR, while one of them gave a salute to Padparadscha.

One of the Diaspores clapped their hands together, and materialized a stretcher for PR to sit in, while another one asked the peridot,"Shall I administer a pain reduction serum?"

Looking onto the holoscreen, PR got a little nervous, and when looked back to check on Pearl again, she also checked Jasper to see if everyone was calmer now, but Jasper was scaring her. PR couldn't just pretend it was okay, she wanted to talk with Jasper despite her fear. "Society...? Hm..." She had to adapt to the society, but maybe it would be harder than she thought.

When the Diaspores came to her, she was about to tell them her condition, but Peridot finally took over. Wanted to show that she was still in there, because it would hinder for PR keep it together later. "Pain reduction you say... So will you finally shatter me? Because as i know there's no way to- Stop Now brat, i must keep it locked... Do as you wish for now..." Her voice was glitching as she spoke to them, PR and Peridot's control were colliding.

Finally snapping out of it, she looked down. "Sorry, i didn't- ... Look, you guys don't worry about me okay...?" PR walked back to Jasper and looked to her trying to not feel fear. "Jasper, i noticed you have been at me for a while... Am i bothering you? I really don't mean to..." She looked at Pearl. "...That goes for you too Pearl, are you okay?" She couldn't smile anymore, the pain was too much to handle, she was just worried, but came back to her friend before something bad happened, although it happened anyway. PR ended up fainting out of pain near the stretcher. The fall had worsen the crack.

Pink Pearl blushed at being acknowledged, and turned her nose up and away as she tried to ignore being addressed. Jasper, on the other hand, coerced the corners of her lips to draw up into an awkward, forced smile,"Nope," the soldier grumbled curtly in response. 

Padparadscha kept a close eye on PR as the Diaspore's interacted with her; the gems had been a joint project between Yellow Diamond and Pink Diamond, field medics meant to keep their cool on the battlefield, but they hadn't yet been cleared for work on the surface. She knew they weren't perfect, but they had state-of-the-art technology at their disposal. Still, she guessed that the split minded peridot might prove to be a challenging patient for them.

The Diaspore who had spoken, one with their gemstone on the left side of their chest, drew back from the peridot and analyzed the gem quietly, with no visible change in expression."Excuse me peridot, I will introduce myself properly," The gem mechanically pointed toward their gem, which sat like a cabochon badge on their suit,"I am Diaspore 1EO, a new model of gem-- and I am here at your service. I see that you have doubts, which is perfectly expected of a rational kindergartener such as yourself," They turned toward one of the other Diaspores, who reached into their gem and pulled up a cube of light,"This is prototype technology that has been tested in one field situation. It is suppose to have a calming affect when held to your gemstone," Diaspore 1EO offered the cube of light to Peridot.

Then, before anyone could stop it, the peridot fainted, and the team moved into action to bring the gem to the medical facility.

After fainting, she was unable to respond the Diaspores, neither take the cube of light. Her crack was getting worse over the time slowly, but at least she wasn't feeling the pain anymore due the fact she wasn't conscious. But as Peridot had tried to warn, even if they tried to heal her pain, would be in vain, after all her pain is kind-like corruption, it can affect her mind and body, but don't show any signs about it. Everything still connected to the split personality, she can't help but suffer while sometimes end up making others suffering too.

Although her Gemstone was cracked, it was visible, so she could receive any kind of help to not ending up shattered.
