It could've been days or it could've been years. Maybe centuries, but it was hard to tell. Csarite's corruption had slowly been wearing her down, getting worse and worse. Luckily she was starting to figure things out. This monster that had been terrorizing her friends and surroundings wherever she went, was her. She didn't know how it all started, or how she was going to be able to stop it. If she was going to be able to stop it. It made her anxious, to the point that she started hiding. Hiding not for her own sake, but for others. Finding a secluded place where she couldn't hurt anyone. Then she'd have time to figure out how to stop it, without worrying about it causing damage to anyone. Yet the isolation she forced onto herself proved to only make it worse.
The Kindergarten. Once a place of birth, future manifested. Now a place of gloom and quietude devoid of any traditional life. The defunct injectors and the countless of holes, each one accounting for a different gem, serve as a reminder to what this place once was. Dust winds ravage through the forgotten valleys to slowly chip away at the rough and darkened terrain. So it remained for most of the time, yet today was one of the exceptions. Clobbering steps could be heard approaching the abandoned complex at rapid speed. Csarite was not too aware of her actions, it was something else guiding her. She had never been here before, yet there was familiarity to it. Her large form had no problem navigating the steep walls, but it all felt like a fever dream.
Inbetween the glimmers of light piercing through the clouded sky, Csarite would make her way forward. Four legs rapidly moving in succession to one another, tearing up the earth as she explored the area. Her colorful palette struck conflict with the monotone earth, leaving a trace of fading colors behind her in the dirt and rock. Red, green, and orange dust would gather in the wind as proof of her presence as she waded through the corridors. Suddenly the oversized mantis would stop in its tracks, red antennae twitching in search of life as it observed its surroundings.
