Personality: Mostly very serious a lot of the time. Cares for her friends, fiercely protective to the point of violence. Very uncaring towards anyone she isn't close to, and very shy around people she does know. She's honest, and holds grudges against people she dislikes.
Likes: Physical activity, reading, silence, sleeping, the dark.
Dislikes: Eating, dirt, and distorted noise.
Fears: Water and Heights.
Weapon: Two black blades jab out of the gems on her hands, creating two blades that are Wolverine-esque.
Ability 1: Creation of Darkness: She can envelop an area in darkness, has a short radius of about 5 feet, and only magical gem light can get through it. Doing this clouds her eyes, and makes them black.
Ability 2: Wings of Darkness: Darkness wraps around her arms from her gems, and leaks to her back, then forming two black wings.

History:
Onyx used to be a form of Quartz, but has no memory of it. Back then, she was completely white and her powers were much different. She held power on the Homeworld, and was revered as a battle veteran. She was cruel, evil, and was notably torturous. While on a mission to explore earth, she was attacked by many corrupted gems and in an attempt to escape, jumped into a ravine. After she landed, her gem cracked, splitting into two pieces. However, she was not dead.
She instead formed Onyx. Onyx was left in the dark for years, with her gem split into to seperate pieces on her body. With her gem split, her personality changed and became very docile.
She came to Beach City, confused and alone, and decided to live there. She usually steals books and reads them on the beach.
