Indy arched an eyebrow when Sphalerite said something about human children. He wasn't too interested in the subject, but he found the concept of children amusing. He was starting to drift off into his own thoughts when he heard a noise behind him, and Sphalerite seemed to have noticed it as well.Indy narrowed his eyes turned to where he had heard a sound. "Yes.. as a matter of fact I did hear something." He stared into the brush behind him, before shrugging his shoulders and turning around once more. "It's probably just an animal or something." Just to be sure though, Indy telekinetically threw a rock into the bushes while walking away. Indicolite was sure that there wasn't anything there, but it didn't hurt to be safe.
He sat their for a few brief moments he sat their, waiting to see if they had noticed. Focused on making each unnecessary breath as quiet as possible. He slowly peeked upwards and then- "OW!" the yelled as a rock hit him in the eye. He fell back and held his hand to his eye. "Nice aiming! Clod!" he scowled. He leaped up into the top of the tree. Glaring at the blue gem. He then attempted to hide himself within all the branches and leaves again, even though he knew very well they already saw him. He crouched down on one of the highest tree branches ready for either a fight, or a helluva a conversation with the two people he was following.
Sphalerite was a bit surprised when she saw Indy use telekinesis to trow the rock. "it looks like we have a visitor Indy." She looked at the new stranger as he leaped into the tree. She frowned and took a closer look. "Who are you? A gemspy from home world, send to attack traitors? Or just someone who likes to eavesdrop on conversations?" She looked at Indy to see his reaction and looked back at the stranger. After a while she noticed something that slightly annoyed her. 'Why do they both look older than me...' She looked around to see how she could get an advantage over the stranger, should they have to fight, since he now had the higher ground.
Because Indy had been looking away when the rock hit, he flinched when he heard a voice actually cry out. He slowly turned around to see a green gem calling him a 'clod' then jump up into a tree. The blue gem stood for a few moments, blinking in astonishment as Sphalerite said some stuff, he wasn't really listening. He almost felt the situation was a little too surreal, he threw a rock into a bush, and there just happened to be a gem spying on them who also just happened to get hit in the eye. Weird. After recovering from his initial shock, Indy allowed his eyes to trail to the top of the tree, where he was able to see glimpses of the green gem looking down at him and Sphalerite. Indicolite wasn't too sure exactly what circumstances happened to cause the turn of events but he hoped that perhaps ignoring everything would somewhat fix the problem. Without saying a word, he spun on his wheel and began power walking away, in the direction of beach city.
"Oh oh no~" He said as the blue gem started leaving. "You don't just throw a rock in someone's face, then just LEAVE!" Though, the green gem wasn't really in a position to throw accusations, after all, he was stalking them, though, it was just purely out of curiosity and boredom. He leaped out of the and landed right in front of the clod that threw a rock at his eye. He landed with a pirouette, kicking his foot behind him in an attempt to knock the blue gem down onto the ground. He summoned a two large chakrams and pointed one at the blue gem's throat. "Listen kiddo," he said, glaring directly into the other gems eyes. "You seem bright, so I'm gonna let you off with a warning." He paused, his weapons vanishing. "If you EVER hit me in the face with a rock again. YOU'RE DEAD!" He said, running a finger along his own throat, like humans usually do when making a threat.
She looked at the two gems and had to hold back a small laugh. 'This would be an amazing start for a story.' When She saw the green gem kick Indy, she decided to summon her tonfa's. She didn't know if Indy wanted or needed her help, but she decided to be prepared for a possible fight. 'If he did that to me, I would've punched him in the face! Probably wouldn't be a smart thing to do...' She inspected the stance and weapons of the stranger, in hope of finding out what sort of fighter he was. He seemed like a long distance fighter, but with his moves he could probably also fight short distance. Suddenly he let his weapons vanish. "That's certainly a way to make a first impression..." she told herself softly. But just too be sure she kept her tonfa's, not knowing if he would take his chakrams again.
Indy had a moment to turn around before the kick came and he landed on his butt. With a small grunt he stood up again and came face to face to the green gem, who had drawn his weapons. He was mildly surprised so see that one was directly at his throat, and he snorted when the Emerald went off on some random tangent about walking away. The blue gem grinned and casually looked up, tapping his chin as he did so. "Oh! So uhh... It's MY fault that I threw a rock at you... and I guess YOU'RE letting me off with a warning.... sorry... I guess I just didn't know that THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER GEM STALKING ME!" Indy took a step forward and leaned forward, placing his face uncomfortably close to Chalk's. "HMMMMMMMM!? Care to explain yourself... lad?" Indy smiled coldly, his eyes wide in curiosity.
Chalk glanced at the blue gem, smiling at his curious expression. "Curious, are you?" He said as he twirled the weapon in his hand. "As was I, when I started following you." He unsummoned his weapons. "Like many others, while I find this planet beautiful, and teeming with all sorts of brilliant life." He paused, glancing up into the sky. "It's rather... Boring." He laughed for a brief moment. Lazily glancing at the other two for a response.
She listened at the 2 male gems and thought about everything she learned about earth and its inhabitants. It could be boring, but it still had its charm. She sighed and let her weapons disappear. "The world isn't that boring... great inspiration for new stories." she muttered softly, seeing that the two gems were busy with a.... man-off? At least, that's what she thought that it was called. 'And all this yelling could've been avoided, if it wasn't for the stone and for the overreacting.' "If you are going to fight, can you at least do it without destroying to much of this place? I kinda like coming here to think about stuff. And I would hate to see it disappear." She decided to lean against a tree and kept watching the gems, waiting for a fight or for this to blow over.
Indy slumped and allowed his eyelids to sink halfway as he gave Chalk an unhappy arched eyebrow. "Yea, ha ha... but that still doesn't explain why you were stalking us, I honestly don't really care how curious you are, or were, or whatever. Why. the hell. were. you. stalking. us." He folded his arms across his chest as he emphasized each word. The blue gem grimaced as he looked over the Emerald, confused on the way he had answered the question. "And I'd like to point out right now, that if you weren't stalking me, I wouldn't have been able to hit you with the rock I threw!" Indy pointed accusingly at the green gem, his eyes expectant for an answer.
"As I said literally no more than two seconds ago," He said with a sigh, absentmindedly summoning a chakram and throwing it at a tree. "I was bored, and I happened to be in a tree when I spotted you, so I thought to myself, 'Why the hell not' and started stalking you" He stopped and glanced over his shoulder at the blue gem, somewhat predicting what he would say next.
"And yes, 'Why the hell not' is a perfectly good reason to start stalking somebody. Especially when you're bored halfway to retreating back into your gem." The green gem hopped back up into a nearby tree and stared at the other two gems, not quite sure what to say next.
She thought a little and sighed. "If I was busted for stalking someone then I would've just said something like 'Needing to defend this place' or 'just had to fight and wanted to know if you're after me.' Not I was bored and felt like it." She looked at his chakram in the tree and studied it more in detail. "It would've made the story more interesting if you needed to tell this to someone else." She looked a bot more at the tree and looked at the green gem. "And I just asked you minutes ago to not wreck this place! I like the peace and quite here!" She crossed her arms and looked at Indy and the green gem, wondering how they would react next.
Indy grimaced at the green gem's almost snarky response. "Uh no you said you were curious when you started following us, not that you were following us because you were curious." He was wondering if the Emerald was completely sane after listening to his responses and turned to Sphalerite, shrugging his shoulders. He then turned back to the emerald, to question his second response. "Aaaand, no, 'why the hell not' is not a valid reason for stalking other gems. ESPECIALLY, when a full on gem war is on the brink of happening!" The blue gem wondered how the emerald got off being so self-righteous. He crossed his arms and pursed his lips, thinking over what Sphalerite had said earlier, and was a bit unsettled on her 'issue' with how Chalk justified his actions.

"Yes, it IS a perfectly good reason, also, if I would've attacked you, I would have done it much earlier." He said as if it was a matter of fact. He laid down on the branch he was perched on, back resting against the tree. "Why would I lie about the reasoning of me stalking you? It was just pure curiosity, and curiosity is a good reason for a lot of things, including following someone."
He glanced down at the two gems below him. This is boring he thought as he formed some translucent green armor around him. He floated slowly into the air, still in his relaxed position, and started flying in the general direction of beach city, hoping for something much more interesting.
Melody: how are you doing? Are you going to make a character in here?

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
