[Morion]

One day a convoy arrived
Several camions, trucks, SUVs , two big trailer; and in the middle, a long black limousine
Humans jumped down from the cars, and started to ser up a camp, unloaded te equipments
Huge generators, machinery, computers, conduits and wiring...
Armed guards watched over the workers work
From the black car, Morion watched his Humans... he despised them, but they were HIS Humans...
After three days of work, they were ready
One of his humans knocked on the car's door nervously

"S-senor M? We are ready... B-but the scientist are concerned. They have never seen anything like these...."
"Say it..."
"..t-t-these alien equipment"
"Good boy... "

The Smoky Quartz stepped out from his car. He enjoyed the fear of his Humans. Liked to remind them once in a while, he is a Gem. Basically a God. So they made the right choice. Working for him.
Another nervous human, younger than the other joined them as they walked toward the heart of the camp

"Senor M... maybe it wasn't the best idea to kidnap these smart guys. They could sabotage the project!
"You have made it clear what will happen with their families, haven't you Pearl?"
"Pedro, not Pearl Senor M... "
"Trust me boy... you are a Pearl. Pedro, the Pearl..."
"Nice nickname P..."
"Thank you Senor M... and yeas, I did. If they try anything... "
"Good. So they will not. Let's see my little Human Peridots... shall we?"

They walked to a group of scientist. They were tired and frightened. Some of the guards forced them to kneel before the Gem with the end of their gun

"Respect... forced, but still, respect. But thats enough my dear Rubies... and you, my little Human Peridots, everything is ready?"

The leader of the scientist stepped forward, he was old, fragile yet in his old eyes there was something... not just fear, but stubbornes. The Gem liked this old human.

"Yes... you monster! Everything..."

He spitted

"It will never work! There isn't enough energy to..."

The old scientist was hit by one of the guards, pushed to the ground

"My dear dumb Ruby... please don't damage my Peridot! "
"Senor M ... I ... I just..."
"Shatter him"

After the gunshot there was silence
Morion helped up the old human, wiped off the blood from his face while the others draged the dead guard's body away

"Now, my good old Peridot... you were saying...?"
"Not enough energy"
"Ahh... yes... Pearl! The crates please!

Pedro, the Pearl and two of the other "Pearls" pushed three crates toward them

"You see... we don't have problem with energy"

With a sinister smile, Morion opened the crates, inside them was three bubled Gem

"Put these good for nothing Gems to the machinery I gave you... plug it in, and lets see what these ruins could do!"

After his order, the work continued
The unholy mixture of Human and Gem technology slowly came alive!
It was a great moment!
One of Kindergarten's Injector filled with energy, electricity thundered around it, and slowly the spider-like limbs moved, the Injector standed up then positioned itself and drilled inside the ground...
But something was not right...
...was, infact, terribly wrong!
With a burst of blackish energy, everything fried
Silence filled the camp and smoke... after the smoke cleared the sight was horrible
The scientist were dead... like several of the guards and workers.
There were whithered, petrified bodies everywere around the now useless machinery, around the blown up Injector.
The Smoky Quartz stood there in silence... then walked slowly closer
The three Gem was sattered, their shards were inside the melted machine.
It was annoying...
Morion stepped over Pedro, the Pearl's corpse, and walked back to his car

"Clean this up... you are my new Pearl. And report!"
"Yes Senor M. The scientist are dead, we need to find new ones.. several of our boys are dead too... There are earthquakes all over the area, possibly all over the world. The nearby vegetation simply died and petrified. I think we just gave the Ecosystem a kick below the belt. The life was just... sucked out from it. We can't reactivate the Kindergarten. Your...uhm... the Rebel's sabotage was thorough. I'm afraid Senor M, we can't do it. If may I suggest... don't waste your money and time! It will take decades before we humans could try to understand the basics of... uhm... your people's technology.
"I'm afraid you are right Pearl... "
"Carlos..."
"Carlos, the Pearl... whatever. You are right. Humans are just not enough... I need a Peridot!"

The Smoky Quartz leaned back in his seat, sipped from his glass

"And I think I know just the right Gem to find one..."

[Bloodstone]

Octavian couldn't believe the scene that he was looking at. He had heard rumors of the Kindergarten but didn't imagine he was going to be able to see it for his own eyes. As he slipped his mask on and donned stealth gear, black hoodie, black pants, etc, he stuck to the shadows and walked around as he moved in, taking note of staying quiet as to not attract any guards. If there was anything that Bloodstone was good at, it was sticking to the shadows. He was more than just a one-gem wrecking ball, he was skilled in knowing how to make an escape and not cause any attention to himself. If anything, he was a..ninja? Whatever the term was. "What are all these humans doing here..?"

[Hunter Zoisite]

Hunter was working on his ship. or at least the parts he recovered. He had managed to get it operational with an external human Generator. as the system booted up it started beeping siginaling high energy readings when the earth started to shake a bit. "What was that?" He sees Octavain dash over to the warp pad he followed behind only catching the end of the stream so he got there a bit later than him. By the time he arrived Octavian was gone. as he looked around what he saw gave him flashbacks to those dead worlds. "wh...what is this place?" he hears a vehicle so he quickly hides. sure enough a human jeep passes by heading somewhere. he carefully follows the jeep wanting to know what humans are doing in this wasteland. after a bit he sees in the distance a human encampment. from where he was standing he couldn't see the destruction that just happened but there was quite a bit of activity. so he stayed hidden by the rocks as he focuses. his aim was on top of the ravine this way he could get a better view.

[Bloodstone]

Octavian sighed as he eventually walked over to Hunter, shushing him to make sure he stayed quiet before he crouched down next to him. "This is what at least USED to be the Kindergarten. It's where the gems here on Earth did all of their experiments. It would appear that the rebels did enough work that it was taken out of action for awhile. Except now..." He looked out onto the barren landscape "It would appear that they want to bring it back into operation...no matter what the cost. And I have a good idea of who it might be." Octi sighed as he looked down at the ground then at Hunter "Do you see the cost this is bringing? This is why I have yet to support Homeworld...no victory is worth this"

[Morion]

Morion was in his car, enjoyed the music, his drink, when his new Pearl knocked

"Senor M? The... uhm... Warp-thingie..."
"Warp-pad, Pearl..."
"Yeah, that thing. The Warp-pad activated, not long ago, as you predicted. Your people noticed the things we have done I think"
"As they should be. Any casualities? The guards followed my orders?"
"Sí Senor M. Played the dumb, unsuspecting humans... avoided confortation. But the Warp-pad is ours, secured, with hidden cameras and all that mambo jambo... nobody can come and go without our... er... your notice"
"Let me see the report!

The Smoky Quartz read thurgh the paper, then nodded

"Good... Somehow I suspected it will be them. Or hoped. They are not Rebels. Not yet at least. Bloodstone and Hunter. Please, escort them to here... thank you Pearl
" Sí, Senor M

The human walked to a console, turned it on. The loudspeakers around the camp filled the area with his voice

"Is this thing on? Cool! Madre mi dios, this is how my voice sounds? Er... Attention Gems! Attention! I am..."

He sighed

"...Carlos, the Pearl. Senor M is waiting for you. Please come out, our boys will accompany you to him. We don't want to hurt you..."

Then he waited for answer

[Hunter Zoisite]

Hunter nearly blinked into a wall if he didn't catch himself by Octavian's sudden appearance. He managed to catch himself before he blinked and looked over at Octavain. When he explained that this place was a kinderguarten he felt something drop. This was the place he was finding location for on those worlds. Thats when a human voice came over the loud speakers asking them to come out. "Um...should we listen to them? I mean it could be a trap." He peers over the rock trying to see if anyone was looking their direction. "I see like 6 people near the entrance of that place they seem to be looking for us. I really dont want to go out there."

[Yellow Peridot]

     Peridot was watching the whole commotion on one of the ledges of the Kindergarden cliffs. It was refreshing to return to her homeland, and was disturbed to see many humans walking around this. What was this foolishness?! She made her way down by sliding her claw on the murky rock, and crossed her arms to see the humans stare at her. She smiled and said,"Well well. It seems we have a party of pathetic humans. Gathered in my lovely homeland. You better have a good explanation for this or I might just be having a good hunt." She pulled out her pistol. This was going to be quite fun. She then noticed a strange gem. His eyes were the only features on his face that Peridot could make out. She then kept her devious smiled, pointed her gun at him, and said,"Please do tell me what this is, or I won't be afraid to blow a head off or two." She chuckled, knowing that having a gem here would make it much more fun.

[Bloodstone]

"I don't like it..but let's play it cool, Morion generally means that he doesn't want to kill us unless it's absolutely necessary" Octavian sighed as he helped Hunter up and walked over to the humans at the entrance, taking his mask off and giving a calm smile. "Alright lads, here I am. I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me or my friend Hunter" He held his hands up, keeping his chains stored for the moment "My weapons are gone, I have no possible way to harm you..unless you mean punches and stuff." Octi chuckled a little but smiled as he watched Hunter walk up. Hopefully "Mr. M" would at least use the good hospitality he seemed to have, if nothing else

[Morion]

Yellow Peridot's arrival wasn't unnoticed ^^
Dozen of guns pointed at her, ready to shoot
Morion was sitting under a little tent, next to his car, in a comfortable woven chair, behind a set table
He was in a tuxedo with a cane, without any mask. He was a tall ('Quartz tall^^) Gem (but not bulky like a Jasper or Amethyst, his kind was slender) with long grey hair and silver eyes. It was evident, he was wearing real, human clothes, it wasn't his projection, since the shirt and vest hided his Gem.
His skin tone was a bit grey...ish, like the smoke, but he could pass as a caucasian man.
But it was true, Yellow Peridot couldn't saw his face... he was just wiped his mouth with a napkin
Two bodyguard next to him, bald thugs in shades and suits, headsets... aimed their guns at the new guest
In the same time, his humans accompanied Hunter and Bloodstone to them

"I'm afraid we haven't had the pleasure to meet before... let me intorduce myself! I am Smoky Quartz, from the Morion variant - Facet-7F2R Cut-8YQ; Her Majesty's Blue Diamond's loyal servant, I AM her eye... I am her Wrath! Currently lended for a few missions to Her Majesty, White Diamond... you can say, I'm a licensed hunter, assassin of our Matriarchs."

He smiled, leaned back, and sipped from his glass

"My Human Rubies are like ours, not too bright, but loyal to the death... and a bit itchy, please my friend, put away your guns, or I'm afraid I will have to shatter one of them... for shooting you without an order. As you can see my Humans are armed and dangerous... please, join us! Ahh... Bloodstone and my dear Court-mate Hunter! Nice to meet you again! Pearls! Please bring chairs to my guest! Then secure the area... while I do love surprises... I'm not in the mood right now. Undersand?
"S-sí Senor M."

Carlos, the Pearl; a young columbian man in his twenties and two other quckly brought chairs, and tablewares to the guests

"Thank you... and I guess I don't really need Human Quartz bodyguards... we are all friends here!"

With a wave of his hand, he dissmissed the two thug human 'quartz' bodyguard, so they were alone.
Four Gem around a table

"Now... Where were we? Ahh yes... Our new guest just wanted to introduce herself! Am. I. Right?

[The post-order is: Morion-Bloodstone-Hunter-YP ^^ ]

[Bloodstone]

Octi sighed as he sat down, looking the scene over. The bloodstone knew that, given the fact that he was technically outnumbered in terms of allies, 3 to however many humans Morion had, he had to keep things calm as much as possible. It would've been a bit better if Peridot hadn't shown up..just for her own sake. "if I may.." Octi looked at Morion then at YP "This is my friend Yellow Peridot, we met each other under..tight circumstances" He sighed, the fight at Rose Quartzs fountain still fresh in his mind "I'll let her introduce herself more if she chooses to. And yes, we all can be friends. I'm not in the mood for any fighting right now anyway" He laughed nervously

[Hunter Zoisite]

Hunter didn't like this plan but went along with it. when he saw Octavain put his hands up he did the same. They were led into a tent where the familure Smoky Quartz was. He didn't like seeing this guy here. "I thought it was too dangerious to have humans mess with Gem Tech....wait...you didn't...that rumbling and energy spike from earlier." He looks out of the tent and spots a rather void part of camp where there was only petrified stuff. This hit him hard. "wh...what did you do?" He looks at Octavain as if to tell him something but just couldn't form the words. He then looks over at Morion to hear his explination to what he saw.

[Yellow Peridot]

     Peridot put her pistol back in her pocket and looked back at Hunter."Obviously they have learned how to do so for many years to make sure that they know every function of all possible gem tech available. Most impressive." She then turned to look at the humans."As for your humans, I wouldn't say they're dangerous. Not to gems that is, not even close. They're too delecate and weak." She took out one of her bullets from her gun. She chuckled as she said,"here, catch." She flicked the bullet at the fearful human watched it flew right into his stomach."Worthless pieces of trash. I can see why you have so many of them." She then turned to Morion."So please do tell me what you're doing here and why you need me."

[Morion]

The Smoky Quartz sighed

"Please don't damage any more of them... Thank you”

The Gem nodded, then winked to Octavian

"Well well well... Bloodstone Jasper you naughty Gem! You had a Peridot friend all along? I should spank you! Keeping that secret from me! But again... it is somewhat understandable, since I've told you, anyone who manage to win the favor of a Peridot, baically gain along with it a huge advantage over the other side!”

Morion sipped from his glass

"And I am well aware you would do anything... anything to keep your freedom and independence. Having the friendship of a Peridot? That is more than enough to secure your... neutrality. So I forgive you my dear Heliotrope. Well played. Well played!”

He nodded admiringly to Octavian, then smiled to the Zoisite

"Yes Hunter... normaly I would shatter any human that would dare to touch Gem-tech, but this time it is different! And not just because they are MY Humans... Let me explain! ”

The Smoky Quartz looked around, some of the petrified whitered human corpses was still around, his humans tired to separeate them from the ground, but they were part of it now. Nothing what a pickaxe couldn't solve tho... Their bodybags were waiting next to them

"You see, the Kindergartens are facilities that serve to create Gems by using machines called Injectors. The machine like that over there, and the one that exploded. I've tried to reactivate one. The main reason why Gems invaded and colonized Earth... well or at least tried; to exploit its resources and produce more warriors via the Kindergarten. Or Kindergartens. This is the part of a standard colonization process. We are a conqueror race! Usually the developing gemstones would incubate in the planet's crust and sap the life force from its surroundings to form itself. You Hunter, Peridot, Bloodstone... we are born from and infused with the lifeforce of the conquered worlds. It is not a secret... but most of the Gems simply don't care to know. This was the main reason why Rose Quartz rebelled, to protect Earth. Anyhow, she just prolonged the planet's... how should we call it? Sufferings? I think thats the right word. Our Peridots are the caretakers of these facilites, since they are our technician class. I think this is the main reason you can't find any Peridot on Earth. The Rebels sabotage would have been worthless if any Peridot were still around. They could easly fix the Kindergarten and the Warps. You know, beeing technicians and all... so If you ask me, the Crystal Gems after, or in the same time of the sabotage attacks, have captured, bubled or simply shattered all the Peridots on Earth to secure the Planet. A “noble” sacrifice in the name of the Rebellion! For their Humans... No Peridots, no technicians, no fixing the damage the Rebels have done. This is why I said, earlier, finding a Peridot is the Key. “

He raised his glass to Yellow Peridot

"Immagine! A Peridot could fix the Communication Hub, crash landed ships, the Warp-pads, or even a Kindergarten! The worst nightmares of the Crytsal Gems! And the sweetest dreams of the Homeworld Gems... You my friend, you are priceless! And I'm afraid you are in grave danger... I honestly think the Rebels will try to hunt you down Yellow Peridot, capture you, torture you for information, or for your knowladge... then to a Bubble with you! Or why risk your escape? Shatter you, like the other technicians. “

Morion shurgged

"But back to Hunter's question! Earth... is a testing ground. There are experiments runing around everywhere! Just to name a few Carbide is an experiment for example. A scout-experiment. Experimental Gem. I think you were modified too Bloodstone, then left alone, to see how would you react, watching your adaptation and so on. And... my beloved Demetry was an experiment too. He was a Jasper. Beautiful one... I miss him. Eventually I will find the Rebel that responsible for his demise... but back on topic! I came here to reactivate the Kindergarten! My human Rubies and Quartzes stole a few human Peridots. Scientists and technicians... and as you can see, we have... er... obtained some machinery too! Engines, generators, computers... Its not that a big deal, really, on this planet there is nothing you can't get with enough money, blackmail or strong fists! My columbian and jamaican criminal humans are quite usefull! It is a shame you and Hunter refused my offer, I've honestly wanted to share all this with you guys... and the offer is still standing! We have money, we have manpower... as a saying goes on this planet: Crime does pay!!

He laughted a bit

"So, tried to reactivate an Injector. My goal was to measure up the damage, the scale of the sabotage, examine the rumors surrounding the Corruption. They said, it is orriginated from here... and of course, to create some allies. Boost the Loyalist Army a bit. And if its possible, to re-create my beloved one. But that was a secondary goal. My experiment... BUT I am not selfish! First things first! “

The Gem sighed

"Alas we had some... difficulities. The sabotage was thorough, curse those Rebeles... and sadly, human minds are simply not enough for this. Yet. But it was a nice test-drive. We have learnt a lot from it! “

The Smoky Quartz opened the pouch, it was full with shards. Gem shards. He gave a little red shard to the human, who left

"He is a real Pearl. I think his name is Carlos. Anyhow, we have tried to power the Project, but the generators was simply too weak! These machines require a tremendous amount of energy you know! The solution was simple. I used three bubled Gem to power the machines... It was a partial succes, but the Injector exploded, and most of our equipments are ruined too. The power converter have melted and the Gems? Well they were shattered into little shards. But they are still useful! My Pearl will find a way to use his little shard. Human ingenuity is limitless. Then greatfully will report his findings... You see, we are FULL off energy! Our projected bodies, our weapons, special abilites... all are energy based. One form or another. With the right equipment, this energy can be harvested, like back home. Back on my main base in Columbia, there are still some ancient machines with shards in them, still working after Diamonds know how many eons! Simply copied that old design... This is the future my friends! I have no doubts the victoriuos Crystal Gems will gave the “ooooh evil evil” Homeworld Loyalists to the Humans to use them as powersources! A captured Gem could power a whole city! Clean energy, save the Earth... a fitting end for a Gem that tried to conquer the planet. Disgusting. “

Morion frowned, then shook his head

"So thats what happened. I am not a technician, I am an infiltrator, an assassin... and while I have played a scientist before, I am simply not one. My knowledge is limited. I am a Somky Quartz, not a Peridot. The proejct was... well.... mosty a disaster. We have learnt a lot from it... it was quite informative and instructive... a bit destructive but it was a disaster still. “

[Bloodstone]

Octavian blushed heavily when Morion mentioned he might have to spank him "Erm..I'd rather us not do that please." Bloodstone looked at the ground awkwardly, admittedly wondering why his Smoky Quartz "friend" had to say that. His mental stability at the time was then taken down a tiny notch when the suggestion that he had been modified in a Kindergarten came up. "No...no, I'm not an experiment! I was like this back on Homeworld! I know I was!" Octi was trying to remember now, WAS he like this on Homeworld? He could remember fighting with this condition before. "A-anyway, you sound like you wanted me and Hunter to come here in the first place. I can assure you Peridot came on her..own terms" He looked over at her then back at Morion "I'm not helping you bring the Kindergarten back, not when destruction comes at a price like this. Those corpses used to be good, innocent people. And the sad part is I know you're not gonna listen to a word I say, are you?"

[Hunter Zoisite]

Hunter felt uneasy hearing about what the Kindergartens do. He looks over at Smoky Quartz. "If you succeed in reactvating those things. the crystal gems will step up there game and make sure there is nothing left of the harvesters. even a paridot cant create something from nothing." He just kept looking at the petrified destruction. watching as the other humans were cleaning up the mess that this gem had made. He wanted to just be done with this smoky quartz but knew he couldn't do anything about it. not with support. Octavain seemed distracted by something that morion said, but at the same time he knew that Octavain wouldn't just kill Morion without ruining his neutral status. this was started weigh heavily on him.
