Dream a little dream I [Finished]

[Morion]

Our universe may live in one bubble that is sitting in a network of bubble universes in space.
Is our universe unique? From science fiction to science fact, there is a proposal out there that suggests that there could be other universes besides our own, where all the choices you made in this life played out in alternate realities.
Maybe a Gem Artifact exploded, and the echoes of memories escaped through the „cracks” of the fabrick of reality to a familiar minds...
Maybe something went terribly wrong in a Kindergarten, and the resulting shockwave reached the minds some of the Gems in other realities
Maybe a Time Traveler created several alternate time lines and realities, but the mind finds it way to save itself...
Who knows for sure?
Anyhow, this is the story of one of them...
...they are our little secrets



Earth is dead
Slowly the Corruption consumed every Gem, the Monsters destroyed everything.
When some of the giant corrupted beast attacked military bases or nuclear plants, things went horribly wrong.
The Gems feard Homewrold and the Diamond’s retribution, but they never come. At the end Crystal Gem rebels and cold hearted loyal Gems fought side by side, but it was to little and to late.
The rampaging monsters annihilated everyone and everything in their path and the Humans answered with more destuction, missles and bombs, liquid fire, chemical weapons rained down the Gem monsters... but the only result was the acceleration of the inevitable doom.
Humanity is almost gone, except a band of refugees hindig in the last stronghold of the last Gems on Earth.



Morion walked outside the balcony, and hugged the other Gem from behind gently, giving a little kiss to Bloodstone’s shoulder, then watched the bleak landscape, the roar of the Monsters echoed in the canyon

„The air is toxic my love... you should come inside. We need to prepare for the exodus... Before Hunter succumbed, he managed to finish his work. Tha Ark is somewhere out there... a ship big enough to save the plans and animals he loved so dearly... and the rest of humanity. We can do it... but it will be hard”

He summoned a black bubble, with the corrupted Blue Zoisite’s Gem floating inside

„We will find a way, a cure, we will save our bubbled friends.... and the humans. Find ourself a beautifull planet and live there in peace, far from Corruption or insane wars....”

The Smoky Quartz dissmissed the bubble, and his gentle embrace tightened around the other Gem

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone blushed as Morion kissed their shoulder. She had been taking one look out at the landscape but sighed and nodded, walking back inside with Morion. The two had been fighting alongside each other ever since the Corruption decided to take its toll on this world, the humans making things worse. The gender switching was still a habit as they took the form of Octavia. "Of course..we need to do this. For Hunter, our friends and the sake of humanity" She hugged back and sighed "I do hope this can have a happy ending. I'm not entirely sure I'm ready to give myself up to the corruption..I don't want to become a monster!" Octi teared up a little and buried her face in Morion's shoulder

[Morion]

"We are alive, like those humans inside... and we avoided the shattering of our friends."

The Smoky Quartz hugged the other Gem

"Thats something, right? And I am sure, the Gem Empire's est minds will find a cure! Before detonated her ship, to take out that island, full of invisible monsters, and their "mother", that terrible regeneratiing beast, Lady Obsidian managed to send us her researches... she was this close to find a Cure! With her reserch a couple of Gem scientist WILL find a solution! Your healing powers are great... even you almost managed to heal the early stages of Corruption! So tere IS hope my love!"

Morion kissed the hair of his beloved

"And your powers saved countless humans! Your gentle touch heal their wound, calm their raing minds, bring peace to their soul... and your bubble shileds are so strong, there is no Monster on Earth that could hurt anyone who is under my Bloodstone's protection!"

[Bloodstone]

"Agreed...that is something" Bloodstone sighed and hugged the Smoky Quartz back "I'm sure we can get a cure together if we get the work to some Gem scientists. My healing powers could only delay the corruption though.." Octi giggled a little when Morion kissed their hair "I've only tried my best with the humans. I'm glad that I could protect them though. Thankfully my shield and healing powers seem to have peaked more as I have to use them. I suppose that shows the old saying does ring true, practice makes anything perfect" She laughed happily and smiled, nuzzling Morion and sighing "So what's the plan? When do we have to make our move towards the ark? I just want to know when I have to be ready"

[Morion]

"And what more important, Hunter, before transformed, gathered several genetic samples, from the species that he could find. Birds, fishes, mammals, reptiles... bugs. And not just samples to use to recrate the species, but several members sleeping in cryo-stasis. The Ark's powerful shield could withstand the explosion of the planet even! So everything in it is safe... "

The Smoky Quartz nodded

"Your powers are growing my love, you are strong... and without stealing other being's life force from the blood my beloved little vampire..."

He gigles, and kissed the Gem on the cheek

"The Plan? Huh... We know where is the ship, thats not the problem. The real problem is the corrupted horde. To reach the ship. Worse case scenario: I will create a diversion, lure the monsters away, while you lead the humans to the ship, protecting them and leave this cursed Planet"

[Bloodstone]

"Thank goodness..I'm not sure what we would be able to do if he hadn't built all of that" Bloodstone nodded and blushed, smiling a tiny bit "You don't have to call me that..although admittedly I'm still a little bit shocked that whole vampire thing started. To be fair I guess when you're a BLOODstone, eventually blood's going to appear in some form or fashion" She shrugged and pouted a little when Morion mentioned that "I don't want to lose you though..you're too valuable to be corrupted." Octi hugged him, almost tearing up a little "We're supposed to escape this planet together..I don't want to lose you and see you become one of those twisted monsters..it's too awful to think about"

[Morion]

"He was a real hero and a genius! Never told him, but... always respected his intellect, wisdom and pure heart. It was one of the hardest to fight against him. But even as a corrupted monster, the Hunter we knew was inside, holding the monster back! Helped us...."

The Smoky Quartz caressed Bloodstone's arm

"The Queen of Blood... in black silk, that not really covering anything, on her throne of bones, surrounded by servant in her castle... I would be your Black Knight, your Champion my Queen"

Morion smilled, before stealing another kiss

"I AM a twisted insane monster my love... and I would gladly give my life for you and our human friends. Not a big price, my life, for yours, the humans, our friends in bubbles, the future of a planet and all of its inhabitants....

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone nodded and sighed "I do agree..he helped us the best we could. I know I'll cure him as soon as possible.He always was a good friend." SHe smiled and looked up at Morion "I admittedly can't see myself being like that but..I suppose anything can happen. Especially in this crazy world that we have." Octi blushed heavily when Morion kissed her but pouted again "I know that but I want you to come with me! Besides, even if you DID get corrupted, I want to be able to help you and cure you. Can you promise me that you'll allow me to bubble you if I can?" She looked up at Morion with a concerned look in her eyes

[Morion]

"Yeah, a bit lone wolf, but a good and loyal friend"

The Smoky Quartz nodded

"I want to go with you too my love... but I must have to do what I must have to do, to secure your safety! But I guess, I can promise you, when the time comes, I will allow you to bubble me..."

Morion nodded

"But in turn, I want you to promise Me, you will do anything to protect them... and leave immediately with the Ark, nothing stupid like, let say "wait five more minute, to me..." okay? Promise me! Forget the bravado, or anything like that! Start the engines and GO!!!

The Smoky Quartz tightned his embrace, burried his face in Bloodstones hair

[Bloodstone]

"I do agree there." Octavia nodded and sighed, smiling "Fine..as long as you'll let me bubble you, I suppose I can let you do whatever you want in terms of protecting me." She smiled and nodded, face a bit more stern. "I promise, I'll do anything I can to protect them and leave with the Ark as soon as possible. After that, I suppose we'll chart a course for whatever the nearest planet is that can hold all of the people and animals we might take. I'll try my best to pilot it." She nodded and hugged Morion back, stroking his hair and sighing "Once I get the chance I know I'll be able to heal you as soon as possible" Octi smiled, full of hope

[Morion]

"I am honored my love..."

The Smoky Quartz smiled

"Lets go inside! The humnas ate our smell after these little walks outside... te poisonous air, the deadly fumes... "

Morion lifted and turned with his beloved Bloodstone

"A hot bath together before te grand speach? You know, you have to give them an inspirational speach, do you? I am not good in it. I am just your shadow in the darkness, silent, dark guardian angel of yours..."

He unfolded two huge dark fathered wings, solid smoke and shadows, and hided with them themselfs, their kiss

"But you... you are their protector! I have heard, they sing songs about you... some of them even pray to you! You are a goddes to most of them or at least their hero..."

[Bloodstone]

"I'm glad you are" Bloodstone giggled before nodding "Alright, I suppose it's time to head inside" Octavia smiled and turned with Morion as they started walking inside "I suppose a bath wouldn't hurt. It would be a bit odd to have this smell stick. And yes I know I have to give them a speech, although I think you could be good if you practiced. I suppose it's appropriate you're my angel" She smiled as she looked back at his wings and blushed when the two of them kissed. "Do they really do that? I don't consider myself a powerful goddess or anything like that. Perhaps a hero or heroine, depending on what I decide to appear as obviously but, I think you get the point~"

[Morion]

"Yes, that is true. After some practice I could give a good speach. But thats the point! It would be a lie. Just a practiced play, nothing else! You? For you, speaking before a crowd, or giving some inspiration, all these are natural things! You do not need any practice! "

The smoky Quartz smiled and hugged Bloodstone

"You and I are different Quartzes. I am a shadow, hindig in the darkness and smoke... sneaking in the night, wearing masks and faces. Not that inspiring Quartz Knight, like you! you could lead armies! Nobody would follow me!"

He laughed

"You inspire confidence, hope and such beautiful and positive things! Me? Fear. Dread. Panic. Nothing good... For Diamonds know how long we are protecting them, and I am still the "shadow"

[Bloodstone]

"Fair enough" Octavia blushed and smiled "I suppose it is somewhat natural for me the more I think about it." Bloodstone sighed and hugged back "That's not true..you can get anyone to follow you if you convinced them enough. Or in the case of certain...empires, the promise of riches and all that fun stuff. I still remember your escapades as Señor M. " Octi giggled and nuzzled Morion "Fine, fine, fine..I'll make sure to be ready for my speech. No matter what, you'll be my guardian shadow. My little angel, and I suppose you could save the fear and dread for our enemies" She smiled as they walked into the bathroom, the water already being drawn for the two of them

[Morion]

"Yeah, convince them with fist, and swords?"

The Smoky Quartz shook his head with a smile

"Okay, okay I admit! Posing as Señor M was somewhat... good. I rally tried to do something good you know!"

He hugged Bloodstone

"I will save the dread and fear, the nightmares to our enemies! It is a real shame tho' the Corruption's Monsters can't really feel or understand these things. They are mindless insane animals. Worse than Yellow Peridot. If thats even possible!"

They walked to the chamber, with a great pool filled with hot water.

"Sometimes I feel bad to use the water for such a luxury my love... but relaxing in the pool is so good... and with you, it is even better!"
