Fears:
Cracking her gem, there is a reason she wears the headpiece, Euclase gems are rather fragile due to their perfect cleavage and as such they can crack and chip fairly easy.
White Diamond, although she hasn’t personally met her she finds the concept of the leader of the Diamonds to be rather intimidating, coming from the perspective of a gem under the youngest Diamond. She doesn’t like the idea that there is a Diamond who could override any protection Pink Diamond could give to her.
Ability 1: Trigon Drones
As seen in her picture Euclase has a pouch full of pyramid shaped drones, these machines assist her in day to day operations and have a variety of features including.
Screens: Like Peridot’s Limb Enhancer the any four of the drones are able to align themselves up to generate a holographic UI and Screen. Increasing the distance between the drones increases the size of the screen.
Spider droids: The drones are able to transform into small spider like droids (the triangle sides of the pyramid act as pointed spider legs). These small creatures can scuttle about walls, ceilings and floors and are able to record/stream footage, project messages and maps along with being able to be used as tools for minor repairs, thanks to a small soldering laser within them.
Helicopter droids: Having the same functions as the spider configuration the helicopter mode is used when the droids need to fly through or to and location instead. (The sides of the triangle open up with hinge on the base triangle, the folded out triangles then act as rotating blades to let it fly and hover).
Biometric Scanner: The droids are able to run a scan on any cooperative gem by forming into the screen configuration rotating horizontally and then traveling down the gems body. This can be used to determine the type of gem they are along with picking up any small damage or hairline cracks on their gemstone. This may also reveal information about their abilities, weapon, rank and so on if they are in the Homeworld Database, provided she has the correct authorisation to access this. As mentioned she can’t run the scan if gems are moving so using in a fight is near impossible unless the enemy gem is poofed or restrained.
In a push she may be able to launch them like darts in combat, due to their pointed sides. Although this would have questionable effectiveness. She tends to have 20 to 25 of them within her pouch, she can generate more from her gem but that takes time and means she would have to remove her headpiece, something she wishes to avoid whenever possible.
Ability 2: Hardlight Cauterization and Grafting: By touching lacerations and wounds on a gems body she is able to temporarily fill them in with her own hardlight. Fundamentally this acts like cauterising the wound shut (Burning the wound shut), as such it doesn’t remove the wound but instead allows it to heal faster overtime. For burns and shallower injuries it acts more like a Skin graft.
Additionally she can also do a similar things to damaged gemstone, filling in the crack with hardlight, this will temporarily stabilise their form along with stopping their gem from cracking any further. This is only a temporary solution though until they can make it to a healing fountain and will wear off overtime.
The greater the wound the less effective this technique is, when gems limbs are severed the cauterisation/grafting technique will only allow a gem’s form to last for a few more minutes at most, and that is if she is lucky enough to make it to them before they poof from the injury.
Its takes several seconds to apply the ability to a wound, meaning it’s not an effective technique when gems are in combat.
Frequent use of the technique will naturally fatigue Euclase, afterall it is fundamentally peeling layers of her own Hardlight form of.

History:
With the first wave batches of Quartz’s still incubating within the planets crust, she and her fellow Euclases were temporarily stationed on the Moonbase above Earth, primarily working and assisting in the planning of the Medical Facility that was to compliment the Moonbase’s Primary Spire. This time also allowed them to test their own Medical and healing capabilities, with such a tight deadline and such a bold and different type of facility to be built accidents were inevitable. The Euclases proved invaluable with their first aid and powers, allowing gems to continue working without major delay.
Often times when it was quiet the Quartz units would reconvene allowing the handful of Euclase’s in each unit to talk, chat and catch up, the establishment of the warp network making this even easier as the units of Quartzs more and more frequently shared skirmishes or patrols.
One would of thought being at the fountain would allot a degree of peacefulness but unfortunately that was not the case, Wildlife, Organics and weather still worn down the gems their as legends of a Fountain of immortality began surface around the organics. More and more organics were forced to be driven back as they attempted to reach the fountain, the issues getting bad enough that soon a majority of the Euclases were reconvened at the fountain, along with their units as several larger battles occurred with the primitive organics clashing with the Gem soldiers.
Having been stationed on the Moon for the last 4000 years she was lucky enough not to be trapped on Earth when the cutoff occurred, a fate the other Euclases did not share. With the rebellion begining to gain momentum though more and more Euclase has had to return to her routes, the skills of combat her caste had never really leaving her completely.

Personality:
Euclase is one of the many examples of an exemplary Homeworld gem, an expert medic and manager she strives in doing her work quickly and efficiently. Being one of the first one hundred grown on Earth (a particular note she is rather proud of in her rare moments of hubris) she also has a large pool of knowledge about the entire development cycle of the Earth project, up to the cutoff. Over the course of several thousand years she has also become rather experienced and wise, knowing the inside and outs of the operation on the Moonbase, “if it occurred on the Moonbase she already knew about it 5 minutes” Is what several gems on the base say. Despite her rank and age though she still retains the compassion of being a medical gem, having a good balance between professionalism and kindness. Acting as almost like a mother figure to those under her when needed. Her time spent working at Roses Fountain helping to mould this aspect of her.
Euclase tries to avoid talking too much about her combative roots, while many dismiss her as a standard medical gem she fortunately or unfortunately was a Combat medic by Caste, her time on earth fraught with defensive skirmishes to fight against the local organics, these events forging a near unbreakable trust with the Quartzs she now commands, and a gratitude to them, for unlike her fellow Euclases, summoning a weapon did not come naturally to her, and it was only through the help of the Quartzs and her fellow Euclases did she learn. Her time on earth solidifying a personal dislike of combat in most forms. Not to say this is any admittance of pacifism either, Euclase takes on a pragmatic if not tentative approach to combat understanding when it is required. Be to fight for her own ideologies and the ideologies of the lustrous Pink Diamond, or to fight for those close to her. her time spent at Roses Fountain and the seldom thought of aftermath of several fights always in the back of her mind.

Weapon: A fairly Standard Two ended Bolas,a unfortunate defect in her creation caused Euclase struggled to initially summon her weapon, a skill that was meant to come naturally the the Euclase, however with the help of her fellow Euclases and the Quartzs while on Earth she managed to learn.
Away from earth for the last several thousand years she has seldom had use for it, despite this she is still effective with it,being able to launch and throw it with a surprising amount of Strength and Accuracy for the kind hearted and usually very gentle Gem that she is,Granted though her gemstone is covered by her headpiece. Unlike the newer visors the older headpieces restrict gemstones from summoning objects when the headpiece is protecting the gemstone.
With the rebellion present she has unfortunately found herself having to call upon its form more and more frequently within the recent years.

History:
Euclase Facet 5A Cut-7AI was one of the first one hundred gems grown on the primary Kindergarten on Earth as part of the colonisation project under Pink Diamond. One of the first gems unique to Pink Diamonds Court their creation was a representation of the direction she was to take her sector, a direction of medical expansion, Euclases were the first step towards this, their caste, combat medics. Designed to stand, to support, and even, to fight alongside the other combative gems such as Quartzs; Their presence and skills allowing them to administer healing near or within the heat of battle to gems in need.
Their time on the Moonbase was short live though, with the imminent formations of the first batch of Quartz Soldiers the Euclases were once again restationed down on Earth, with the moonbase completed and the facility almost finished the Euclases on Earth were able to slot back into their intended caste, and began to work alongside the handful of Quartz phalanxes.
Their time on Earth was not entirely peaceful though, natural weather events, native species and even the planet itself fought against the expansion efforts. These experiences were infrequent but intense when they did occur and helped to forge a mutual trust between the Quartzs and the Euclases as part of their units. Over time it began to get easier, with more structure popping out each day giving a stability and safety to the gems. For many millenniums in continued like this, long bouts of dullness broken up with unexpected skirmishes or bouts of danger, sometimes losing Quartz in the process.
When the creation of the healing fountain was reaching its fruition Euclase’s unit was stationed to guard it, and in that time Euclase was given another task aswell, being of a medical background it was seen as logical to have a medical gem be the one to research more about the healing properties of the fountain, primarily researching the limitation and effectiveness of the healing tears on damaged gems, as there was initial fears that the healing properties of the tear may denature when outside the host (A Rose Quartz) for too long. This fear proved unfounded though as the tears seems to retain their effectiveness even after several hundred years of use.
Euclase’s notes allowed gemkind to become aware of the full scientific range of the healing tears. Along with limitation to what they can and can’t heal. Her time spent here at the fountain also reinforced her compassion and dislike of conflict. Solidifying a mentality that she had already began to grow and that was now reinforced after seeing the aftermath of far too many battles first hand both of her unit and others.
The battles did nothing just reaffirm her mentality towards combats, She can recall every time she had to try and place shards back into a cracked gem before they could heal it, and even worse was the times when the gem simply was shards that had to be reassembled, like a deranged jigsaw puzzle, and those were the lucky ones, the ones who they could bring back.
Eventually when things began to quiet down and a peace began to permeate through the gem structures on Earth a new opportunity opened up, Someone had taken notice of her talents and skills when researching about the properties of the healing fountain, and thanks to this, plus a recommendation of a fellow Euclase (Facet 5 Cut-8AB) whom was part of the same unit as Euclase. she was assigned back up at the Moonbase again. From there she progressed up the ranks until she finally became the one of the Lead medics and by extension managers of the Moon Base itself, being almost directly under Pink Diamond and on several occasions actually taking orders directly from her, over several thousand years her knowledge about what happens around the base has become unparalleled, if not somewhat disturbing and she has run the entire operation like a smoothly oiled machine ever since.
