The Lord and Protector of Empire City, the Smoky Quartz, Morion promised it will fly again...
Ancient beyond human imagination, the majestic vessel protected the Assassin's Domain
Once it was just a Colony Ship, but now it was much much more...
Scavanged technology from all over the Earth, Gem ficilites, Kindergartens, laboratories, fortresses...
Salvaged parts from the dozens of dozens crash landed Gem ships and pods that Morion and his followers gathered over the months...
...and human technology
Shileds, engines, weapons, and everything that could money, time and influence could bought
It wasn't as strong as a Hand ship, of course, but with Earth standards, it was a force to recon with
And it waited the friends and allies with open arm
Chip could easly use his wings to aproach the airlock
The rest of the Gems?
Most of them have Gem or human communciators, they only needed to ask premission to step on board, and the hard light rapm lovered to connect the M Tower's balcony with the ship
Humans patrolled the giant corridors,  it was their home after all too... more importantly, their future in this universe... Their future and their cildren's future
And they had a new uniform, an armor a bit similar that of Morion's Gem uniform, and all of them had a Blue Diamond insignia
But along with the humans, little human built drones patrolled the ship too, with just a little hint of Gem-tech, armed with human weapons - several Gem was already familiar of the uncomfortable feeling of the hot bullets tearing away chunks of hard light flesh, beofre the poof came...
It was a home
A fortress
A base
A future...
The heart of the Ship was Morion's private sanctum sanctorum, a large room with a giant, almost empty throne
It wasn't empty tho... there was a hologram siting on in

The Smoky Quartz spent most of his time on the bridge, watching the City, the dozenz of holo monitors, siting in his throne like command chair, resting on his cane

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone sighed as he eventually made his way into Empire City. It was pretty obvious where his target..or at least point of visit was, the Derelict, the massive ship that seemed to occupy most of the skyline. Perhaps it helped that the gem had managed to patch up their mental state to some degree, even finding a good form to stick to and not have any random shifts after so many months of experiencing them. "Well...I suppose it's time I go drop by." Bloodstone pulled out all six of his chains and started to climb his way up to the ship, going up the sides of the various skyscrapers and buildings until they made their way up and landed on the Derelict, dropping down to where it would be easy to just walk into one of the doors

[Morion]

Naturally Bloodstone was welcomed in the ship, like a good old friend that he was
After all, Bloodstone was in the Gang too, the part of Morion's Criminal empire
Most of the Humans knew the Berserker Gem, and considered the "Independent" Gem as Friend.
So fistbumps, salutes, smiles and back patting greeted Bloodsotne, when he finnaly exited
Actually the only thing he had to do to get inside was to... knock^^
The Smoky Quartz was expecting his dear Bloodstone... Waited the Berserker in the Sanctum

"My dear Bloodstone! Welcome! Did you miss me...? Or our new home is the reason you grace us with your presence?"

Morion asked with a little smile

"...or you finally decided to join us? Be the part of a better future?"

[Zriphelo (Gaspeite)]

The derelict looked even better when seen from the top of the Morion tower. It seemed as if Empire City now had a roof, a very terrifying, but flying, roof. A multitude of humans were still in the M buildings, although the only thing Gaspeite needed now was to get aboard the ship, she had seen a lot about the colony ship before, although it is incredibly huge.
She walked the length of the ramp, and was greeted by a myriad of humans, all wearing edgy black outfits with Blue Diamond's insignia. It was disgusting to see such a poor use of the insignia, but humans were the only replacement for their lack of individuals to control the ship...

She had her visor dimmed significantly while walking through the humans, making her way through towards the command bridge. The interior was made perfectly, it looked like the ship had never crashed.
After arriving infront of what looked like the doorway to the bridge.
"Please wait a second, I will inform my master of your presence, he is busy at the moment" the human said, going over to the communication device which was on the side of the door.
"Yeah, yeah, he knew I would be coming, get it over with."

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone sighed and smiled as they walked inside, saying hello to the humans who they were familiar with, as well as the ones who respected them too. The Berserker sighed and smiled a tiny bit as they walked into the Sanctum, still carrying the same blended form that they had settled on awhile ago at the Sky Temple. "Well I figured I might as well at least drop by and and check the place out, you didn't exactly give me a heads up that you'd be..taking off in your plans. And yes, the pun was intended" Bloodstone giggled softly and sighed, giving Morion a headbutt "And I suppose I did miss you a tiny bit. Tell me, do you..like the form I've settled on? I think I may have um..straightened out my mental state to some degree. At the very least I'm more comfortable now in my projection than I've been in a long, long time"

[Morion]

"Last time we saw each other Bloodstone, even tho' I showed you the armada around the Moon and the operational Moonabase, you choose to remain "independent". "

Morion shook his head

"I left you out from this... so you could remain Independent as long as you could. If you would have stand on my side when I gave my speach, nobody would belive your independence... am I rigth? I like your new form...."

The smoky Quartz's communciator beeped
He checked the message

"Ahh... we have a guest! My humans will lead her here... Lets wait!"

The Human solder bowed to the Fusion and showd Gaspeite the way to the heart of the ship, where the two Gem were
Then left

"Fusion Gaspeite! Good to see you and an honor to have Pink Diamond's Herald on my ship... I think you remeber Bloodstone our friend... she just arrived before you, Herald.

[Zriphelo (Gaspeite)]

As she imagined, Morion was there, but what surprised Bloodstone was there too, he certainly came on board quicker than her. Bloodstone was, as she remembers, inbetween both forms like how she remembers him transforming into, and it was very fitting, ti felt more like "Bloodstone", although now, Gaspeite would use she since, visibly there was an obvious presence of Bloodstone's femme form. Taking a couple of steps inside she waved at Octi once, but keeping a neutral expression since she wasn't here to play around.

To compensate for Morion's obliviousness, she diamond-saluted for a second.

"Greetings, Smokey Quartz. I thought you would have slightly less -loud- plans to take over this planet, although I do have to say it is quite the entrance. I like it. I think grand inquisitor, his excellency Opalite will be plenty happy, I have met him and he is quite a personality. Also Octi, I am happy to see that your form is quite fitting!"

Gaspeite wanted to ask for a coffee, but it clearly isn't appropriate... even though she really likes it. She would need some coffee to argue with Morion, cause it wasn't an easy task.

"This is honorable work, which I am sure took a lot of resource sna d patience. However. Weren't you the one telling me that us, loyal gems, needed to stay low to not start a war? Now both of us here know that a war, where you have the advantage or not, will always have victims, and from both sides, too. And yes, it's for the Diamonds, and I'm not against the whole plan, but do you think this approach was really necessary? Since you're leaving your front door open, and since we are outnumbered, I really wonder what's the big plan apart from getting human allies, but I'm sure you'll be able to make everything clearer."

[Sulfur]

Sulfur wanted to board the flying ship to meet his ally, the Smoky Quartz, but it was so high up. He had to improvise. Walking around a corner Sulfur noticed a man with an umbrella. He stepped in front of the man and got his attention. Hitting the man in the throat with the blunt edge of the sword he knocked the man out. Snatching up the umbrella Sulfur started to head toward the ship. He walked into the Himitsu building and marched straight to the elevator.

Upon reaching the roof, he noticed a taller building near the door of the Ship. He then leapt toward the building. As he neared the structure he summoned a blade, this blade stuck in the side of the tower. Summoning multiple blades he used them as stairs to reach the top of the building. Once on top, he desummoned all of his blades. Opening his umbrella, the gust of wind flung him into the air. Once above the door to the ship he closed the umbrella, dropping in front of it.

"I have... arrived!" Sulfur shouted extravagantly as he shoved the doors open. Looking about he noticed a few familiar faces. He didn't greet them immediately though, he was here to see Smoky Quartz. "Oh Smoky Quartz, you said that my Howlite's ship would be of use, I don't see how you could make much use of it if this is at your disposal!"

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone sighed and smiled, almost blushing a tiny bit. "Thank you..I've been trying to calm myself. And yes, I'm aware that I wouldn't be independent if I was there with you." Octi smiled more when they saw Gaspeite come aboard, waving back but moving out of the way to let them see Morion as well. "Thanks..I'm finally getting the hang of this thing." They nodded and then looked back when ANOTHER gem appeared to come aboard although..this one was one that Octi wasn't too happy to see. Even though Sulfur was a gem that Octi had only run into once before, that one time had been a very negative impression in the Bloodstone's opinion. Honestly a second round or a...possible dent wouldn't be something Octi minded causing. Sulfur was quite annoying in their opinion

[Morion]

"The Rebels forced my hand, so to speak... not to mention that Fleet around the Moon and the reactivated Moonbase. These factors played against me and my plans Fusion Gaspeite. Homeworld is here... but done nothing, just worstened the already horrible situation with the silence. I can understand their move tho', it is a wise move; give Earth enough time to settle things. And a chance to the Rebels to surrender. But the Crystal Gem's way is the "sit and do nothing" way... "

The Smoky Quartz explained

"Pink Diamond is a genttle Goddess, but even Her patience will run thin eventually. So, I made my move. A move that potentially could end this War. There are two ways to allow a man a make a decision. The first is to let him brood over it. The second is not to give him a breath. Our way is the second way. When men are forced to make decisions at a moment’s notice, they make mistakes. When they have time to think, they have time to sort out the details and calm any foul temper they may be carrying. Therefore, I say force a man to make a decision without a moment of thought. And force him to do it in public.

Morion caressed gently Bloodstone's cheek

"We will end this insane situation... one way or another my dear Bloodstone. And Fusion Gaspeite, this was and this IS your Mistress's planet.  I don't want it! Pink Diamond is the ruler of this world, she will reclaim it.. or destroy it. Her choice. As for you my Sulfur, Howlite's ship was confiscated, so he can't slip away from under your traning... but I am glad you have came too, I have a job for you, and your Team my Sulfur!

Gaspeite looked through the windows in the bridge after raising her visor, what Morion is saying made plenty of sense, and even though she didn't like losing potentially good gems, letting the Crystal gems attack first was the wrong choice. Although she raised an eyebrow at how Morion interacted with Bloodstone.

"I will believe in your words, Smokey Quartz. May this be the way to contain the rebellion, and maybe in the future we wouldn't have to talk about it anymore. I will fight for homeworld although this does a good job keeping Crystal Gems away, ha."

She recognised Sulfur and, in the end, it made her wish for a coffee even more. She walked a bit closer to the center but also to the side, standing straight with a pair of arms in her back and one pair crossed infront. The ambiance of the ship felt very close to Homeworld.

[Sulfur]

Sulfur gave a brief bow, still uncomfortable with giving a diamond salute.

"And thank you for the warm welcome Smoky Quartz!" he said, nodding. He raised an eyebrow as Morion mentioned a job for him. Sulfur secretly feared that Morion would be asking him to prove his loyalty to homeworld by coming in contact with a diamond or a high official. Also, the fact that he requested all of the Broken gems to do this made it even more suspicious. These concerns aside, Sulfur was glad to have a task. "Oh is that so? I don't see why you would need all of my team for this, but I suppose I won't know until I hear what the task is!"

Sulfur turned toward the gems around him. He noticed the permafusion he had met in his diner. They were generally docile and he was on good terms with them, but they did not understand the concept of gourmet food, a boundary between them. Another gem he saw was Bloodstone, a gem who protected rebels. He ignored his suspicions as Morion seemed fond of them.

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone seemed a tiny bit uncomfortable in comparison to the other gems that were there "I know, I know..just keep in mind that I'm not as excited to pick a side. I feel like I'm trying my best to act as...well a bit of a peacekeeper. Someone's gotta keep both sides within *ahem* reasonable boundaries.." Octi sighed "So...is there anything I can really do? Admittedly it...IS good to see you again" They...well I suppose she in this case, couldn't help but blush a tiny bit again. "But I can't help but feel like I'm sort of the odd gem out, so to speak. You know I like working on my own agenda and all..although apparently I can act as a good substitute leader should you get...incapacitated"

[Morion]

"I'm afraid my dear Bloodsotne, you can't keep the peace anymore. You had your chance, but the Crystal Gems betrayed your hopes and dreams... actually destroyed them. Along with the rest of the Independent Gems. Every Gem went on their own separate ways and that led to this situation. It is time to set things right!"

Morion shook his head

"Fusion Gaspeite, I am certain, at the moment you are the highest ranking Gem from Homeworld, not counting the Grand Inquisitor. Since you are from the Pink court, in this mater your word is that count."

The Assassin nodded

"I need your blessing Fusion Gaspeite... and yours too my dear Bloodstone. My mission is to my Sulfur is simple: take your team and "Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war". Chip once gave me this idea, but I had to postopne that mission, but not the time is right. Sulfur, take your team, and "play" with Beach City! That misrable little city is one of the Crystal Gem's "favorite" spot. We need to alienate them from the humans.... the Crystal Gems inactivity already ruined their reputation, so lets help that reputation to the "other side". May it rest in peace. Sulfur, do whatever you want in that City with your team... BUT... and this is important! Do it...

Morion smile was dark, his voice was cold

"...wearing Crystal Gem uniforms and Star insignia."

He rested on his cane

"Naturally, if you give your blessing to this plan Fusion Gaspeit! With their reputation ruined and Humans flocking under our banners, they will not have any other choice, just to surrender. And this way, you could have your peace too my dear Bloodstone! So Fusion Gaspeite, Bloodstone... what do you think?

[Zriphelo (Gaspeite)]

Morion's plan seemed oddly specific, asking a whole group of gems to disguise as the enemy for internal damage to the opposite said, but, mostly what she heard was Morion saying that she is the highest ranking after Opalite and factually, on the loyal side at least, it was true, but not THE highest ranking. Gaspeite serves at the same level, or just slightly above, an Agate. A sort of "commander" gem. Morion's words were flattering, but it didn't get up to Gaspeite's head.
A lot of the gems on Earth were footsoldiers, soldiers, and a lot of miscellaneous titles regarding the gems being there put it simply, fight for Homeworld, or build for Homeworld. She took her duty at heart and is mainly the reason she doesn't like loosing troops under her watch.

"This plan is sure interesting, although I will not give my direct approval, since I am not to decide on such a plan. I am not objecting against the full realisation, but you have to understand that even though it might help our cause, these gems are running severe threats if either Crystal Gems were to defeat them, or if Homeworld gems were to confound them with actual Crystal Gems and caused collateral damage. I don't mean to even tell you about what would happen if the plan was discovered and we were publicly shamed for using such a technique. I like it! Shhh!"

She looked around, waiting for a certain comment from Sulfur as this plan was sure something he would have to think about.
