Corrupted: No, though he was corrupted for a short time after fusing with Spinel to make Fire Agate. His corruption was removed after Obsidian did experiments on him, resulting in the corruption being taken out in a liquid virus form.

Appearance: (Sorry, no picture) He has deep blue hair styled into a tidy swept right haircut. His eyes are a bright, icy blue which contrasts with his lighter blue skin tone. He has limb enhancers, which make his normal height, 4'5" 1/2, into 5'7" 1/2. He wears a standard Homeworld uniform. The 'pants' are a very deep shade of blue, and on his knees are two yellow diamonds. The main color of his uniform is a blue, quite a bit darker then his skin. The collar is a navy blue, and goes into a Yellow Diamond insignia at the center. At about his ankle, the color goes from deep blue to navy. He has a similar face to those of the Peridot's, due to the fact that Zircons are basically just slightly younger Peridots. Zircons have a slightly shorter and lighter build then Peridots, even with Limb Enhancers. The next time he is poofed, he will be wearing something a bit different.
Personality: Though he can seem serious, he can loosen up around the right people. He's a bit of a neat freak (similar to Pearl) due to the fact that on the ship he was on, things had to be clean, and the fact that he had to keep his work space clear. He's kind most of the time, but if angered he may lash out at whoever angered him. If not, he may ignore people and/or gems for a while, needing his alone time. His sense of humor changes depending on who he's with. For example, around Mr. O, he may have a better sense of humor, but around a lesser known gem, he wouldn't have a good sense of humor. Often when sad, he won't try and hide it.
He can seem unresponsive sometimes, due to the fact that on the ship he was on (again) he was told not to speak without permission. He will eventually get over this, but may still seem unresponsive due to his past experience. He is dependent on others to give him confidence or a reason to do something. When his limb enhancers are off of him, he loses a bit of confidence because he can't do as much as he use to be able to. He's rather protective of his LEs. Zircon is also clever & smart, because he was a Homeworld technician and when he could, would teach himself various things about science and technology. Sometimes he can also be envious of other gems, because most tend to be able to do more then he can. As of right now, he's fumbling for meaning and trying to figure out his morality and other various things about his personal philosophy.

Likes/Dislikes: He's interested by the rain on Earth, as well as their music, even though he's only heard tiny bits of it. He likes the rain because of the noise it makes. He likes to clean things up, as well as tidy things. He dislikes people talking behind other people's backs. He also dislikes dirty/messy things.
Fears: Being abandoned, like he was when he first came to Earth. Being betrayed by his friends, if he has any.
Weapon: Zirc used to use a Saber. The color of the blade was dark blue, and the hilt and hand guard were a navy blue. The handle was wrapped in a grey material, similar to leather or cloth. Without his LE's, his sword could only be summoned for a short time until he can no longer summon it. After the 'Gemnapped' arc, he is no longer able to summon a weapon, and will eventually reform and be able to summon a different weapon.
Ability 1: Teleportation.
This is a past ability, after 'Gemnapped' he is no longer able to teleport.
Ability 2: Limb Enhancers
After 'Gemnapped' he had lost his limb enhancers.

Similar to Peridot's Limb Enhancers, but blue. The obvious weakness to it is that this isn't really an ability, but an extension, which means it can be taken away. This can happen by manually taking it off, or being poofed. Also, without his LE's, he's rather weak. He no longer has this ability, since the corruption got rid of his limb enhancers, however he will regain this ability later on, though with modifications. These have the same abilities of Peridot's, which is this stuff:
Anatomical Separation: Zircon can removed parts of his limb enhancers by pressing a cyan-colored button at the part he wants to remove.
Blaster: Zircon can transform his fingers of his right arm into a blaster which can charge and fire an electrified energy ball which explodes on impact. Charging it for a second produces a shot powerful enough to blast through the ceiling of the Ancient Gem Colony Ship. Charging it for several seconds produces a large shot which can knock down a thick stone pillar, and has enough recoil to knock Zircon onto his back.
Holographic Interface: Zircon can project a holographic touchscreen from the fingers of his right hand, in which he can control and connect to different forms of Gem technology.
Tractor Beam: Zircon can produce a light-green tractor beam from his left hand to move objects/people.
Wall-Scaling: Zircon can freely run up vertical walls without falling.
Helicopter Fingers: Zircon can expand the fingers of either hand and spin them rapidly enough to fly.
Fusions: Fire Agate (Zircon + Spinel)
Dance Style: Changes depending on dance partner.

History: The story of Zircon started like many others of his gem species, emerging from the walls of a off-world kindergarten he was quickly given his role and sent into training. Though he was considered slightly defective, because he came out in a masculine form, unlike the other Zircon's in the Kindergarten he was formed in, who had feminine forms. He also came out the wrong color, which was blue. (In gem terms, he came out as a Starlite Zircon, instead of a Jargon/Hyacinth Zircon) The other Zircons in his kindergarten were a yellow color, representing Yellow Diamond. Though this didn't change much, as he could still do his job and the color didn't really matter. Learning the ways of a ship technicians he was soon allocated to work under Yellow Diamond's sizable army, his true passion though had always been for exploration and although his ship traveled to many place he was always restricted to remain inside the ship, the more combat enabled gems exploring the planet outside instead. His frustration drove him and in secret he learnt how to fight on par with the quartz based soldiers on the ship. His passion being further elevated by hearing of another Zircon who had risen through his own ranks and had been gifted the honor of working under White Diamond. With the new capabilities of his weapon summoning he believed he finally had the skills to leave the ship that had been his home.
So when the ship had landed on the low level planet called Earth, he had used this opportunity to sneak off and finally see what he had been missing out on. Not being in his designated sector though meant that he was unaccounted for and the ship promptly left without him, the absence of a single Zircon being lost in the armies of other Zircons, Peridots and Quartz that worked on the ship. Isolated and out of his element Zircon remained lost, finding his way to a warp he soon learned that the warps to Homeworld had been damaged. Panicked he rushed back out of the safety of the space warps and was promptly wounded by a corrupted gem, conflicted and alone Zircon has now only recently regenerated. His gemstone finally unburying itself from the dirt it had been sitting in for this last year. His goals remains the same though, find a way to return to Homeworld, a feat made difficult by the archaic tech of the planet.
Character Arcs:
Lost: Zircon reforms, alone in a canyon, and meets Vanadanite and Opalite/Mr. O. He becomes Mr. O's lacky and walks with him for a bit.
Corrupted: Zircon meets Spinel after trying to communicate with the Diamond's from Earth, and denounces Homeworld after realizing they don't care about him. He later fuses with Spinel to form Fire Agate, and becomes corrupted because of Spinel.
Gemnapped: Zircon is captured by Sugar and handed over to Obsidian, where he is experimented on, and eventually loses his corruption, which had taken control of his limb enhancers, so after losing his corruption he also lost his limb enhancers.
A Useless Rock: After losing his limb enhancers and eventually managing to get off of Obsidian's ship, he begins losing his only other ability, teleportation, as well as a the capability to summon a weapon. This worsens his already low self esteem and envy.
A New Gem: Zircon, though he currently has low self esteem, begins working on a new set of limb enhancers. Eventually Zircon is poofed and reforms, and with this gains a new ability and can now summon a new weapon, instead of his saber. After finishing his new limb enhancers, his self-esteem and confidence begins coming back, somewhat. He may also find someone that either cares about him, or that he cares about.
