Heliotrope followed Citrine down the beach after being 'rescued'. Citrine had led her a few miles along the shoreline to a cliff edge on the outskirts of a human town with a large stone statue of a gem fusion carved into the cliff face. Heliotrope was pleased by the fact that this was clearly a gem headquarters for the rebels. Here she would be able to mingle with other rebels and snake her way into their ranks and begin her infiltration. As they made their way to the entrance at the base of the stone statue, Heliotrope could see a warp pad and large door that seemed to lead into the cliff. Heliotrope couldn't help but smile softly at the sight, it all seemed to be going according to her plan and was proceeding even smoother than she had expected.
"Oh my! This is incredible..." Heliotrope gawked as they neared the temple. If all the gems were as accepting and gullible as Citrine, than her mission would be a short and sweet one, but she couldn't count on herself being so lucky, so she had to be cautious and cunning, she needed to be ready for anything, even this all just being a trap.
As Citrine left her side Heliotrope thought this would be a good chance to look around and maybe find others. "Take your time." Heliotrope watched Citrine enter the temple.
Varis had been spending his time still cleaning up the random bits of temple he had smashed out while throwing his mini-fit, he had felt bad about the damage he caused. At the foot of the temple one could find Variscite sweeping up what was left from the rubble, "Ugh... done... where did I put my snacks..." he mumbled to himself softly as he began walking around looking for his white paper bag filled with doughtnuts.
He began to look around in a slight panic, "Come on! No! How could I lose t-these!?" He calls out as he plopped down onto the warp pad, his bag of sweets were resting on the path leading to the temple. Varis was resting with his face in his hands feeling rather upset that he lost his snacks... also spent the last of the money he had on the bag of doughtnuts so that might also have been why he was upset... but more likely he just really wanted his snacks...
With Citrine now behind the large door and Heliotrope alone, she decided to look around a little bit. After a few steps, her boot kicked something that ruffled lightly. She looked down to find a small paper bag on the ground. She sat against her ankles, kneeling down to see what it was. She opened the bag to find it full of round and odd shaped things. She touched them curiously, they were spongy and a little sticky even. "Is this some kind of food?" Heliotrope didn't really eat all that much, but she only really liked consuming things that she could feel, like cold things. If anything these spongy round things were still warm from sitting in that bag in the sun. "Why is this here?"
Heliotrope stood up holding the bag lightly. "Come on! No! How could I lose t-these!?" Came a voice back by the temple. She didn't recognize the voice so she decided to investigate. Heliotrope slowly strutted back towards the temple entrance, swaggering towards the warp pad and the gem sitting on it. Her heels clicked on the stone floor as she neared the gem. "Lose something?" She cooed seductively, with the white paper bag hanging precariously on her fingers.
Varis was having a rough week... thing fact that Hemim is gone and maybe it was all his fault for trying too hard, now his sweets were gone... cant get much worse then this! "Lose something?" A lovely voice rang out along with the clicking of heels on the stone floor, "Hm? M-my doughtnuts!" He called out with a smile forming across his face, he quickly hops up to his feet walking closer to this gem, he didnt know this gem or anything but... she had his snacks so he wasn't going to question this.
"Where did y-you find them?" He said grabbing the bag and then quickly pulling Helio into a tight hug (If she didn't try to resist) "I can't thank you enough! Oh... s-sorry..." He said quickly letting go of the gem, and looking into the bag before pulling out a single doughnut that seemed plane but was covered in a clear glaze, "Whant ohne?" He said trying to talk threw a mouth full of doughnut holding up the bag. Varis had not really taken into account where this gem came from or even really what she looked like to much... his mind was centered around his doughnuts... talk about a one track mind.
Indicolite quickly organized one final pile of discarded objects within the confines of his gem room, sighing contently at the now immaculate area. Only 2 hours earlier, the room had been a clutter of discarded weapons, debris, and other pointless object. Satisfied with his work, Indy made his way to the door and waited a moment as it glowed, signalling his upcoming exit. At last, the blue gem stepped through the magical passage and found himself in the main room of the temple. He could see the temple opening on the far side of the cave-like structure, and 2 gems that seemed to be conversing. He immediately recognized the tan gem known as Variscite, but frowned when he saw Heliotrope. Indy held the expression for a few moments, before shaking his head slightly. Seems like new faces appear every other minute nowadays... Without further ado, Indy began strolling over to where the pair stood, taking his time to make his approach seem casual.
The moment Variscite let go of Heliotrope, the door to the temple would open, revealing an array of beautiful golds and silvers as Citrine walked out of her room within the temple, carrying three cups of her favorite lemon Gelato, a smile on her face as she held the cups up. Varis! How's the neck holding up? She asked with a grin as she placed her cup on a natural formation in the rock that made it flat like a table, holding the other cups, with spoons already in them, out for Variscite and Heliotrope to eat. She didn't know a lot about the other two gems, but she was offering a gesture of kindness. Cold, Sweet, and Tangy food. It was by far her favorite food that the earthlings had created. It was rather easy to get her hands on it as well. She didn't mind sharing it, considering that part of her room was cold enough to keep the Gelato chilled and frozen. She had spoons as well, granted they were mostly stolen from restaurants, so each spoon she had was designed differently. It was a bit unnerving to a gem that was all about things matching up or being neat, but she didn't mind. A fork was a fork, a knife a knife, a spoon a spoon. Granted, there were a few that were bad in quality that she had forgotten to throw away. It would be a test for the other two to see if they had gotten the low quality spoons. If they both took their Gelato, she would take hers from the rock she had set it on, eating a spoonful as her eyes closed in bliss, a soft moan of pleasure escaping her mouth as she finished her spoonful. It was obvious that she very much enjoyed the food she had brought out.
Heliotrope looked oddly at the gem that seemed far more interested with the food in a bag than her. She had dealt with gems that seemed immune or even ignorant to her charms before, but never because of food. To a gem, food should never be more important than another gem with a pretty face and incredible body, at least in the eyes of Heliotrope. So when he offered her one she didn't know whether to be insulted or touched by the gesture. "I shouldn't..." Was all she could say as she tried to wrap her head around what just happened.
Then two gems came over towards her and the food-loving gem. One was Citrine, carrying what appeared to be oddly colored clay in bowls. She gave the bowls to Heliotrope and gem beside her before going to take hers from the rock she left it on. Heliotrope was confused but wanted to appear grateful. "Th-thank you..." She looked at the bowl in confusion until she saw Citrine begin to eat from it.
More food? Is this all that these gems do on this planet is eat? Is this what they're fighting for...? Heliotrope thought to herself.
The other gem that approached them appeared to be male. Heliotrope perked up a bit as she began to have an audience grow around her. She worried about how many more gems would come out of the woodwork at this place. She'd have to bring out her best performance out just to keep herself afloat.
"Oh my! So many kind gems, it's been so long since I've been in such sweet company." She said taking a large spoonful of the gelato and brought it to her mouth. Her lips wrapped slowly around the spoon, pleasantly surprised by how cold it was and how it tingled on her tongue. Deliberately, she pulled the spoon from her lips too quickly and droplets of the tangy chilled mush fell from her lips and dripped down onto her cleavage. She sighed out from the cold feeling both in her mouth and dripping onto her bare skin, arching lightly from the feeling, giving a more ample view of her body to the three sets of eyes around her.
Varis shrugged when this new gem turned down his offer of a doughnut, not all gems like the sticky-ness of the sweet treat so he understood... plus more for him! Finshing his first doughnut he placed the bag down next tothem near a small formation of rocks. When Citrine came out with her own sweet treat he smiled a bit at her comment, "Varis! How's the neck holding up?" he moved his head around a bit and smiled with his own comment, "About as good as your face, yeah?" He spoke as he looked down at what she brought out.
"I-Ill pass... still got my doughnuts here." Looking over to see another gem working their way to where they stood, it was Indy, Varis knew this gem and was happy to see another friend, "Hey Indy... you like Gelato?" He asked pointing down to the bowl Cit had brought out for him. Reaching down into his bag and standing back up to his full 6 foot height muching on another doughnut with a pink glaze over the top with small jimmys. Catching Helio dibbling the sweet treat down her cleavage, "You s-spilt some stuff down your chest... thats gonna be s-sticky later." He said bluntly before turning back to his doughnut... what an odd gem? It was like she was begging for attention or something.
Indicolite found himself in what seemed to be a miniature food fest. He cringed at the sight of so much human food in what was supposed to be a gem-centric area. Now that he was closer, the blue gem studied the others around him, taking the time to individually remember each of their faces. He knew Variscite for sure, but Citrine and Heliotrope were new faces, and he took careful note of their presence. Indicolite's thoughts were interrupted and his focus snapped back to the present, where Variscite was offering him... Gelato? Grimacing slightly, Indy raised a hand in defense, declining the tan gem's offer. "Err... no thanks. Gem's don't need food and I try to avoid it." He watched as the red gem dropped some of the frozen treat onto her body, and arched an eyebrow in curiosity. "Is this your first time eating? You should try to put the food into your mouth next time." The blue gem snorted after his little sally, smiling slightly to indicate he was only joking.
When nobody else other than Heliotrope seemed to want the Gelato she had brought, Citrine shrugged, putting the other cup on the rock as she continued to eat her own ice cream, chuckling softly alongside the other two as they teased Helitrope for accidentally spilling it on her cleavage. She smiled at Heliotrope regardless though, making it clear enough that she wasn't trying to insult her, and that none of them actually were. Regardless though, the exposure of more of Helitrope's body served to make Citrine blush. In a way, Citrine was one of the most human gems around. She felt a bit alone in terms of how much she had started to act like a human. Gems had emotions, she knew that. But..she had lately taken to many more human traits. She had even taken on the habit of breathing, even if she didn't need it. Every so often she would sleep, because it felt good and natural. And eating? That was fun for her. She liked all of the new sensations she could subject herself to, and little did she know it, she had shapeshifted herself a stomach, organs, and many other things to make herself more human, which was why she struggled with shapeshifting, she had to actively shift organs that she didn't know she had.
Of course, if she had known, then things would have been a lot less difficult and painful. But, that was her hand. Still, as she looked to Heliotrope, she gave a soft look that said "Sorry". She had hoped that she would get to introduce another potential gem to the rest of the Crystal Gems, and maybe even meet some of them. She had revealed that she herself was a member of the rebellion by now, but that wasn't too big of a deal to her. She knew eventually that "Secret" would have been laid out. She was just glad that people had taken to her as easily as they had.
Heliotrope didn't really mind how each of them acted, for each showed their own signs of acceptance. With Variscite, he showed ignorance, this could easily be manipulated and made it clear he did not view her as a threat. Indicolite was being playful in his light teasing, which either meant he either saw her not to be dangerous or even irrelevant, either way worked in her advantage. Citrine was well seduced and even sympathetic to Heliotrope, allowing her to seem less likely even seem capable of a risk much less an enemy. While she clearly preferred Citrine's view, it didn't really matter how they accepted her as long as they accepted her.
Heliotrope giggled softly as if embarrassed by her 'clumsiness', she scooped up the spilled gelato and licked it off her fingers.

Finishing off a doughnut he pulled his hood up a bit more over his head as it had fallen back over time, sticking both hands into his pockets he sighed as he looked out towards the beach. He turns back to the group with a new idea, "So... I don't think you said your name?" He asked as he started to wonder where this gem came from? So many gems have been showing up... Variscite always wanted more gem interaction, but not this much... so many that you can't tell who they are siding with.
He liked to give most the benefit of the doubt the first time they meet, this new gem seemed kind enough... she did find his snacks and gave them back to him. Not to mention she was with Citrine and Cit was a friend so she would make good choices... right?
Indicolite took another look around at the faces that were before him, nodding affirmatively at the light-hearted atmosphere of the gathering. He quickly found himself lost in his thoughts, wondering what lay in store for him ahead, and his eyebrows scrunched together as he continued to think. The blue gem shifted his focus back to reality once Variscite questioned the Heliotrope, quickly nodding and reinforcing the question. "Yea, and how long have you been on Earth?" Indicolite arched an eyebrow as he added a query of his own. He figured that the answer would be somewhere along the lines of 'not long' from the gem's lack of eating coordination, but he knew there were always outliers to a standard, and he patiently awaited an answer.
((Really really really sorry about the delay guys, please don't eat me. I was waiting for my turn, not realizing that it was. Completely slipped my mind >.<.))

Aurora had decided to take a walk around the odd looking temple to sate his curiosity about the place. Upon his arrival he discovered a few people talking who had a similar trait to his own; they all had gems at least in one place on there bodies, or at least the few gemstones he could make out. Wondering as to what they were talking about, he wore a mischievous grin on his face for a few seconds before approaching the group as silently as he could, waiting to see how long it would take them to notice his presence.
While he waited for his little trick to bear fruit he had let his mind wander a little before influencing the wind to blow a soft and short breeze in his direction.
Heliotrope was ready to get into her performance. Having snaked her way into groups through a starting conversation in the past, she was confident about introductions. Meeting gatherings of gems at one time made things convenient and her stretch of deception bigger. The more who believed who she was, the stronger her alias.
"My name's Helitrope. I just crashed down a bit ago..." She said nervously. But then clung to Citrine's arm. "But then Citrine saved me. Who are all of you?" She gawked with pseudo-amazement. She was actually quite surprised from the number of them that seemed to just keep coming out from the wood work.
They're so diverse, I almost expected an army of Pearls and Quartz from how the dossier described them. None the less, I'll be able to handle this. She thought to herself.
