Back to the beginning of the story, don't all good stories end up here?
"H-hi. I'm Agate." he smiles widely and waves, "Are you both alright? You seemed to have been fighting... briefly."
A small figure of a blue gem walks into view, seeming concerned about something not within vision of him, almost like this was all happening out of place.
Just like that the image faded away.. only to start up again, then finish and repeat over and over.
"Hmmm... memories of a time that really seems only yesterday... odd how things turn out huh?!" There was another voice, it was split and had this hollow tone to it. It belonged to the Grand Inquisitor, otherwise known as Mr. O.
It seemed he was standing on the sandy beach, just outside of the little human city. Within the confines of his own dimension, a blue aura covering everything. The images seemed to be playing directly from his own eyes like some kind of projector outwards into space before him. The images had stopped for a moment as he glances down at two gems that rested within the sand by his gravity connectors.
"That was the FIRST time I had met lil Agate! What fun.... for the most part..." Not wanting to think about the other bits from that day, looking up again away from the gem cores, the images started once again.... this time it seemed to focus in onto a dark hued gem, in some kind of light armor. "Carbide, Heavy scout ready to explore Mr. O, Sir!" Giving a Diamond salute. Seems the view was from Mr. Os perspective.
"Ok darling, one! You will call me Grand Inquisitor O or ill have you shattered ON the spot! Follow me hun?" The scout quickly nodding before it all faded out again, "That doesn't seem like Carbide at all now does it?! If only I had knew how things would have unfolded.." O was standing perfectly still, his cane before him with both gloved hands wrapped around the top. "Diamonds! You two take forever!" called out O as his smiling face locked onto the gems below him.... surely he wouldn't be forced to keep waiting for too much longer... its rude to keep a gentlemen gem waiting after all!
