[Order Of The Diamonds]

While the structure of the Moonbase may seem small, what many do not know is that there is many levels below the surface, winding corridors and rooms for every purpose, and one of these rooms was the locations that many gems were called into. This was no Ordinary meeting though, that much had become apparent, the usual Quartz’s that Guarded most Facets of the Moonbase were absent from this Doorway and a much rarer site was seen, stern in their appearance, almost unmoving, no less than 2 Topaz Fusions Flanked the Doorway. One, with its Gems on its Stomach and Chest was wielding a sharpened Vougue with the insignia of Blue Diamond on her uniform and the other with gems on the back of each hand was wielding a rather threatening Halberd with the ensign of Yellow Diamond on their uniform. They only shot occasional glances at the gems in front of them before parting their weapons to let them through.

Inside the doorway laid a large room, the floor was a glowing white hue that helped to illuminate the entire area, the walls were embellished with great pillars showing various murals and details along with instances of Blue,Yellow,Pink and White Diamond logos throughout. In the centre of the room was already a small gathering of gems, both elite and low ranking, Quartzs, Sapphires and other various gems of all courts, to the front of these gems was a space for a select few who were not yet present. At a glance they may have no rhyme or reason to the reservations, but there always was, these gems, were all connected to Earth or Pink’s court somehow, be it high ranking gems within it (Euclase), their companions (Melody), or even those pearls on their own (amaranth), gems vested in the hunting of the rebels (Black opal), or gems gifted a different walk of life, a second chance (Fire Opal).

When everyone was in attendance and As the room began to settle down a distinct three toned note began to emanate around the room, in front of the council of gems a Pink glowing Diamond Lit up the floor, first a Pearl warped in. For any that were in her presence it was obvious that this was Pink Diamond’s personal Pearl, the distinct forehead Pearl and the multi-coloured clothing giving away this fact. She spoke, projecting her voice loudly but politely across to all the gems within the room. Two other Pearls also stood beside her, one with a more beige complexion in the light and the other with a more cerulean hue.

“All rise for the Lustrous Pink Diamond” Pink Diamond’s Pearl announced.

“The Radiant Yellow Diamond” Continued the Yellow Pearl beside her.

“And the Luminous Blue Diamond” Concluded the Blue Pearl quietly.

Singular Beam of light erupted from the floor as the towering silhouettes began to form, as the light broke away it revealed in its place three of the indisputable rulers of Gem Society itself. Pink Diamond herself was standing at the front her hand gently reaching upwards towards the ceiling. To her Left was the ever regal blue Diamond, one hand resting downwards, the other gently held upwards. To Pinks right Yellow Diamond stood, both her hands held outwards with her elbows bent. All three paralleling the poses seen on their mural's for a moment, before resuming a resting position. The Three gems towered over the others in their presence, their own Pearls, standing next to them only just got up to the centre of their lower leg, give or take. Pink Diamond herself was only just shorter than the fellow Diamonds present. For a moment they all surveyed the room with their Diamond shaped pupils, a ever piecing gaze, before a panel on the floor slid open behind them and a throne emerged for each of them. The three rulers took their rightful seats, their three thrones next to each other as for a moment they let the silence in the room permeate. The authoritative Yellow Diamond with her neat yet striking uniform, the daunting Blue Diamond, shrouded in her Azure cloak with her striking eyes staring out from under it, and the unyielding Pink Diamond, with her Elegant soft and pointed hair, and her Firm but fair gaze. The gems, the council, was now in the presence of the Diamonds.

Pink Spoke first “Thank you all for your attendance, I’m sure many of you are wondering what would warrant such a meeting, to be blunt, it is in regards to the insurgence that is still festering on my planet.” She Began.

Amaranth had been waiting patiently for the Diamonds to arrive, trying to calm his nerves over the meeting’s rather vague circumstances, but the reality of so many Inner Court gems in one space made it uniquely, terrifyingly difficult to focus on his posture. Back folded at the waist with arms held just above and behind his torso, Amaranth stayed in the bowing position for longer than strictly necessary - looking upwards for a glimpse at his Diamond in order to seek some glimmer of reassurance now would be highly inappropriate of him. Better for his appearance to others, to be more demure and reserved than standard, rather than more bold.

‘Still,' he thought, glancing at the friendly but relatively unknown Pearl standing nearby, ‘perhaps watching another Pearl wouldn’t be so bad...?’ Immediately after that thought, Amaranth winced to himself, carefully hiding the gesture beneath soft, combed down hair.

‘What a disgrace! I have to stay calm for this on my own, I must! What does it reflect upon my masters if I cannot contain my own petty whimpering? My Radiance has called me here, so I will pay attention! My discomfort is irrelevant in the face of My Diamond's needs!’

Forcing fear-stiffened joints to lock carefully in the proper salute, head still angled away from His Diamond’s form, Amaranth settled into a formal stance near the edge of the room - a calculated distance from gems of a higher stature so as to be polite without appearing too inattentive to their whims - and listened closely to His Diamond’s speech. If his hands, almost imperceptibly, happened to quake finely in their salute, it was only due to his awe of being blessed by the presence of so many Diamonds at once...nothing more.

[Euclase]

Euclase had her way quickly along the paths between the major structures of the moonbase, it seemed of course that today was the day of the major, for lack of a better term conference. Euclase had somewhat been busy with various running around as everything was being set up, despite all this though she was somewhat equally in the dark about what the greater semantics of the meeting would be. All she knew was that, 1 it was important, 2 it was in regards to the rebellion and 3 that according to Pink Diamond everything needed to be done by the book. Which also just meant extraneous small changes to make sure everyone knew their place and exactly what to do, the Quartzs were to be on their best behaviour and everything was to remain refined and orderly. They were all to put their best self forward. Which also meant that Euclase had to interact with the tedium of bureaucracy and...well that was why she was here. She never had much interesting in owning a Pearl, of course she was offered one, you dont become as high ranking in Pink's court as she was without having such things offered to you for your services, but she had refused. She wished for her own work to display her rank and power, and although she would not admit, some aspects of her new reform were somewhat in response to displaying her rank. More so her new cloak in some form drawing parallels to the cloak that many High Ranking Agates wore. Regardless though series of events a lost pearl had joined Pink Diamonds court once again, and while her goal, her mission was more dedicated to the moonbase, the fact was that under the books, she was Euclase's Pearl, granted she was not Euclase's only Pearl ironically enough but her other Amaranth Pearl had been present on the moonbase for quite some time and seemed to know their way around rather well, so she had been informed that they had travelled ahead and were already in attendance.


She noticed the Cream Pearl nearby and made her way over to her, letting out a gentle smile "Your looking in good health" She noted "I do apologise about having to follow me around, but things must be done by the books" She mentioned aswell, gesturing for Melody to follow her as they made their way down into the catacombs of the moonbase "I should also mention that another pearl will be in attendance" she let out a small chuckle "you’re not actually the first Pearl that is technically under me, Amaranth Pearl came in quite a while before you, although they tend to remain in the medical facility as a nurse and help out the gems within their, you may of seen them around, pink hue, skinny, gemstone on the very base of their neck." She mentioned aswell, she figured she should perhaps give some warning so that Melody was not surprised when another Pearl potentially stood alongside her.

As she approached the door Euclase glanced at the two Topaz Fusions guarding it, both of them were staring intently down at her, it was strange, she was so used to knowing every guard that was stationed at every time, so having what amounts to 2 elite guards that were not part of Pinks court and that she had no clue who they really were made her feel slightly uncomfortable and self-conscious. Especially since they were Topaz's, an Elite guard that Pink Diamonds court basically lacked on the Moonbase, being more common of Yellows and Blues courts, she let out small cough. If the 2 Topaz fusions were judging her they made no indication of it as they uncrossed their weapons and let the two gems into the room. One of them turning their head ever so slightly to look at Melody if she moved past them.

All in all the room was somewhat what she expected, expansive with the glowing floor and murals dotted around the edges off it, it seemed that at least spattering of other gems were already present, Some elite aristocrats, some hardened generals and soldiers and a few other different types of gems. Her Diamond, was not present, which she supposed made sense, she would not attend until everything was in place and ready. Euclase made her way forward to the front of the room where she and many other had been informed that they should gather. She let out a tiny sigh of relief as she saw Amaranth Pearl and gently made her way over to them "It has been a while" She mentioned, giving out yet another one of her smiles "I know this may be a bit much but don’t worry" she tried to reassure "When things get settled proper come join me, you were invited just like the others" She added, she also glanced back at Melody aswell "Are you doing alright" She also questioned.


There was only time for idle chatter for a few more moments before all the gems began to settle and the distinct note was heard. Euclase shifted back towards the front of the room as Pink Diamonds…and others appeared, it seemed that this was going to be a large meeting as not only was Pink Diamond present, but Blue and Yellow Diamond were aswell. Euclase was taken back for a moment but saluted like many of the other gems. She had been in the presence of the other Diamonds before it was still somewhat of a surprise for her. She spared a glance back at Amaranth and Cream to see how they were holding up with the presence of the other diamonds, trying once again to have a reassuring expression on her face. As Pink Diamond and the others took seats in their thronse she looked around at the other diamonds. Yellow was as intimidating as ever and Blue under her shroud was always hard to read. She was slightly relieved that White Diamond seemed to not be present, Euclase wasn’t sure her nerves could handle it. Her eyes shot back to Pink as she began to speak.

[Chip the Fire Opal]

When the young Fire Opal's presence was requested for an important meeting he didn't really know what to think of it. While he pledged his loyalty to Pink Diamond and received a place at her court there was very little she actually needed from him so far. He just recently returned from a mission that took him far away and now this? It certainly would be interesting, he was sure of that. During his time on the Moonbase, he just scratched the surface of this place yet now he was walking to parts he didn't even know existed.
Even stranger was that there were no quartz guards, but instead, there were two topaz fusions, each serving a different diamond. They both looked at him strangely, but he met their gaze adamantly. There were very few things that scared the young gem and fellow gems that didn't cut it. Not after fighting fierce shards, mutants and insane gems. After a few seconds, he was left in.
Once he entered he just stood at his place. Just a short time after he's done so the main attraction arrived - the Diamonds. Not only Pink but Blue and Yellow. However impressive they might've been his loyalty was only to Pink. Sadly he remembered the reaction he got from the other Diamond when he was talking to Pink for the first time. It left a bitter aftertaste. One thing was fairly sure - something big was going to happen, unprecedented as far as Chip was concerned.

[Melody]

Melody always enjoyed attending any sort of meetings, there was always something interesting to listen to. She also expected Euclase to come and pick her up. Cream still struggled in perceiving this gem as her new owner, but she was always happy to see her. Naturally, Pearl was excited for all of this, but there was something else. She was always expected to be a Pearl, nothing more. However, some time ago a Padparadscha Sapphire from her court chattered with her about medical station on the Moonbase and its weak points. This topic was planned to be brought up again during the meeting and Pearl hoped she wouldn't have to speak infront of everyone. There were suppose to be gems from different courts and not everyone tolerated the idea of a Pearl trying to express her opinions. 

Euclause approached Melody. Pearl was waiting patiently for her all this time. Her hair was put into a hairband and her gemstone was cleaned so it would shine around the presence of her Diamond. She was standing straight with her hands clenched together. After noticing Euclase she smiled and bowed to her. She then quickly returned to her previous position and continued to look at her. "Thank you. It is a pleasure to see you again." She sook her head "It is alright, I understand." It was time to go. She was leisurely following Euclase. She tried her best to stay not to close, at least 1 meter away.

They would continue to aim for their destination by walking down the stairs and through the hallways. Melody moved her head a little bit up when another Peael was mentioned "I...I think I saw him few times, but I only interracted with our patients. I had no idea he belonged to you." She added after a while "Hopefully we will get along well." She met numerous Pearls before, but never had a chance to befriend any. Perhaps it was the perfect oppurnity. 

Melody looked down at the flooe when she noticed two Topaz fusions. She wanted to avoid any kind of eye contact with those gems. It helped her remain stoic and she didn't want them to find her suspicious. But it wasn't something she had never done before.

When they finnaly entered the room Pearl was welcomed by her reflection on the perfect white floor. She looked up and saw many different gems. She found some familiar facets, but there were also a lot of people she had never seen before. She continued to follow Euclase when they approach another Pearl, the one Euclase must have mentioned before. Melody took a closer look at him, she was wondering how they ended up here, what was their story. Suddenly Euclase spoke to her, Pearl was still observing another Pearl and it took her a while to respond. She turned to Euclase. "Yes I am fine, I always am. But I am worried about you. I can sense you are under a lot of pressure." 

Pearl was suprised when not only Pink, but also Blue and Yellow Diamond showed up. She didn't feel as stressed when she arrived in the Moonbase for the first time, though. She made a Diamond salute and stood straight while looking at the most magnificent gems in the universe. The sight of her Diamond always made her feel more safe, expecieally since she joined the crew of the Moonbase, but she also looked from time to time at the other Diamonds. While Yellow Diamond was feared by many, there was also something about her that Melody found fascinating. And there was also Blue Diamond who was responsible of culture, naturally Melody admired her influence on music and architecture.

[Black opal]

The permafusion was summoned, by the diamonds themselves, this confused her as she had thought the didn't know about her, she hoped this wasn't about her being a fusion. She could have chosen not to attend, but these were the diamonds, and to refuse such an invitation would be rude. So she fashioned herself a three quarter mask, one that would cover one of her gems and leave the other exposed. When she finally heard the reason for this invitation, she grinned. "We outnumber them, ten to one, just one coordinated attack should cripple them enough to snuff out this rebellion." She voiced her opinion, and she was under the impression that Homeworld could not loose to these rebels, they had the most powerful gems on their side, this diamonds.

[7XB]

It was due in no small part to one of Pink Diamonds own aristocrats that 7XB had been informed of this meeting so far ahead of time, but even a lifetime of preparation hardly seemed enough to even wrap their head around the sheer magnitude of this meeting, not to mention its importance. Whilst this was hardly the first security briefing the aged Quartz soldier had been to, the added security- and formality- of the matter served as a better reminder than any; Not only would their own Diamond be in attendance- a gem so regally imperious, so terrifyingly majestic and powerful that the first, and only, time that they'd been graced with her presence was as vivid in their mind now as it had been immediately after, months before their fateful reassign to this forgotten Moonbase- but two other Diamonds, Pink and Blue, would be there as well. While Pink Diamond's presence was to be expected in his own facility, it would still be 7XB’s first time laying eyes upon she and Blue Diamond both. The Quartz was, admittedly, a bit nervous, but as they filed in with the other similarly rigid Quartz gems, it hardly showed on their face, falling in with those few other Quartz gems who wore a yellow diamond. Though there were not many, they were proud to be counted among them, holding a rigid salute as they each appeared in turn.

[Paddy]

She had already been present in the room, mingling among the sapphires in the center, participating halfheartedly in their excited banter. Compared to them, the differences were stark; she felt like a leopard among the dainty group of vivacious padparadschas, none of whom had stepped off the base since they arrived with the first colonial fleet to Earth. However, the Pink Court Investigation's Officer had made regular excursions to Earth; she had clawed for dear life, fought tooth and nail against monstrosities that still plagued her mind, and seen her comrades torn betwixt the hysteria of the rebellion. No longer could she look at this colony with a rosy glow around it; she only saw the dark shadow that pulled the azure globe into the vast empty maw of space. To hear them all giggling and making guesses at what the content of this meeting would be left her set apart from them, because she knew too well what was next.

Her chin angled upward as her keen, wide gaze soaked up every speck of data offered by the other gem's posture, their gestures, the quality of their timbre. It was clear that the others felt the uncanny prickle of the Investigation Officer's gaze, mild discomfort showing in the overdrawn smiles and stiff movements. She had grown accustomed to it, and aside they knew to treat her with the same respect they would give any aristocrat. Growing bored of the idle chatter, Padparadscha pulled her gaze away from the sapphires to survey the rest of the room. She broke away from the pack, her sharp heels hitting the floor with a measured click as she sauntered into the walkways. Outside of the central group of sapphires stood many more interesting gems, many of whom she could recognize from past encounters.

The Investigator's eyes caught onto a lone pearl who squirmed with discomfort. Her eyes narrowed at him; it was easy for her to take the behavior as suspicious, but many behaviors had seemed suspicious to her lately. Then her eyes pulled onto Euclase as the Moonbase Manager and her spry Cream Pearl entered the room, which conjured a light smile to her lips. There weren't many opportunities for her to speak with the manager face-to-face, but nonetheless she admired the gem's work, and knew that she had a competent pearl at her side. Padparadscha's eyes then slid over to Chip, the Fire Opal who had saved her life in Empire City. Like herself, this Fire Opal was different from the others of his kind, and stood out in the room as perhaps one of the only gems here who knew a heft of information about humans and Empire City.

There was another suspicious gem who entered the room, a mysterious Black Opal, one who she didn't recognize. The visage of the gem was uncanny, especially when half covered by a mask. When gems covered their faces, thus making it impossible for Padparadscha to read them, she found trust to be difficult to grasp. Her eyes then caught onto the veteran quartz who had so deftly hidden themselves behind a mask of a different kind, a stone cold expression that had been worn in through time. Among the other quartz, they too were a stand out gem, different from the rest, for their sheer perfection in comparison, but also for the time she had shared with them. Though, in a gem she knew so well, she noticed something off in their manner, perhaps some nerves, but she couldn't say for sure.

While looking directly at 7XB, Padparadscha raised her lithe hand, and gave a dainty little wave, along with a cheeky smirk. Soon after, the pearls of the Diamonds began to take the attention of the room. Padparadscha strode, shoulders back and chin tipped upward, to her spot among the sapphires. She articulated a perfect Diamond Salute, and awaited the arrival of the most paramount gems.

When her Diamond appeared, Padparadscha couldn't contain the beaming smile that emerged from her expression; seeing the Diamond who had saved her, who had given her a second chance-- who had given a second chance to many gems in the room-- sparked the welling pride in her heart. This was a wise, shrewd, yet generous Diamond, one she committed her everything to. The arrival of the other Diamonds, while predicted by the pearls, put a damper on her smile. Soon her lips closed, covering the opalescent grin, and her face returned to a neutral expression. These were the Diamonds who constantly interfered with and belittled the Pink Court, who were always at odds with her most favorite leader. Pink Diamond put on strong airs, but Padparadscha had her own beliefs about Earth and it's rightful leadership.

She had already known the content of the meeting, but listened carefully to the quiet eruption of murmurs between the other aristocrats, who soon fell silent again at the voice of Black Opal projecting over the room. Padparadscha searched for the gem, and narrowed her eyes. Despite the overwhelming pressure to speak, the sapphire stayed quiet, and looked back up to hear what Pink Diamond had to say about the gem's hasty observation.

[Order Of The Diamonds]

Pink Diamond paused for a Moment as Black Opal piped up, Pink Diamond had somewhat of a neutral expression but Yellow Diamond and Blue under her shroud both shot a look at the Gem. Pink herself turned her head and shot a equal look at the two other diamonds, as if silently warning them not to pipe up about gems speaking freely, it was of course something she was allowing for the sake of this meeting but Yellow and Blue were always more strict about this stuff. Regardless she continued.

“As I was saying this is in regards to the insurgences on Earth, for some time we remained somewhat…passive, but with the Intel gathered, the time for activity is fast approaching, we need to make the first step, a first move, before the rebels decide to strike first. Now we shall get into the details, but first, everyone please take a seat. The pebbles should have everything completed now” Pink Diamond tapped a button on her throne and the floor in the center of the room shifted and changed. Out of it a Rectangular Long Table emerged, easily enough to seat all the gems within the room, each individual chair was simple, geometric in shape almost looking like the Diamonds thrones, and on the head rest of the chair was a unique engraving of a stone gemstone and a Facet and Cut number underneath, acting as a identifier for where everyone should sit on the Table. The Gem invited personally were all seated up the table closer to the thrones of the three Diamonds. This of course included Euclase,Chip,Opal,7XB and Padparascha. The Table itself extended down the room then, with gems of lower and lower ranks being seated further down the table. For the various gems that had Pearl it seemed they were expected to stand next to the Chair of their Owners. In its current orientation everyone could easily see the Diamonds, simply requiring them to turn their head at most 90 degree left or right depending on what side they were seated.

Pink once again fell silently, waiting for the various gems to get to their designated seating arrangements and to, of course, sit down. Once they had she spoke once again

“Now, a small recap for those who are normally stationed on outer colonies” She pressed a button once again on her throne and several holograms of the Earth were projected, floating a few feet above the table at various intervals, so that no gems would have to turn to far to see a hologram.
“This is Emerging Gem colony ‘Sigma 1’, or as the locals, and many of us refer to it, ‘The mother’, ‘Gaia’, or most commonly, The Earth. It is a large Non-Tidally locked planet with an abundance of natural resources and a large surface area covered by an aquatic compound know as water, a common element for these resource rich planets. The Planet also features a standard atmosphere almost identical to that of Homeworld and of course a stable orbiting body that we are currently present on.” As Pink Diamond explained all this holographic images popped up alongside the images of the projections of the Earth, showing the elements she was referring to, the Oceans, the natural air current systems, the various resources of Earth, Ground and Dirt that showed the presence of various Geological elements, such as Veins of Gemstones and Ores, and then finally a smaller projection of the Moon orbiting around the hologram of the Earth. There was a small amount of whispers around the table as the images showed up, for many gems this was the first time they were really seeing information about it.

[Euclase]

Euclase was relatively lucky, her position somewhat correlated rather closely to her chair position at the table, along with the fact that being the manager meant she on one of the two seats that were closest to the Diamonds. Granted that could also be a source of nervousness being so close to the supreme Diamonds. Regardless she spared a gentle glance at Amaranth, indicating that with everyone shuffling around that they should head over to stand beside Euclase’s chair as she went and took her own seat. She glimpsed around at other gems getting seated around the table, looking down the table to try and see some other gems that were lost in the crowd to her, Quartz’s, Morganites, with some Pearls in toe and a Pezzottaite she knew from the medical centre, among various other gems. Of course there was gems she was more familiar with, with the crowd shuffling around she did spot Clear Quartz and Padparscha, among a black gem she could not quite place, the facet seemed mismatched to the colour and body, only thing she could really speculate was a fusion of some form, or an Off colour. Then there was Fire Opal, which she had seen the file on but never much spoken to the gem, and of course Melody and Amaranth, funny how a gem not intending to get Pearls managed to somehow find herself with two. She let out a tiny smile on her face as she noticed the Morganite whisper to another gem with a Pearl, it seemed they were looking her direction, probably wondering how this cut of gem they probably didn’t even know managed to get seated so far up the table and had not one, but 2 pearls somewhat in toe.


As everyone settled into positions she turned her head to face the Diamonds once again. Listening astutely to the information that Pink was explaining, but it was all well-treaded information that she personally knew like the back of her hand. She would hardly be considered a manager if she didn’t even know the colony the moonbase was stationed for, granted she could hardly remember the last time anyone on the moonbase referred to the Earth as Sigma 1 while speaking, she suspected that even with the colony complete the name would probably stick with Earth, at least in speaking. Euclase was snapped out of her own thoughts and her ears piped up as she heard the whispers of others; of course the whole concept of earth would probably be novel to gems who never left their own colony. The Irony of herself thinking that was of course not lost on her, as she had never stepped a toe outside of this solar system herself, and only knew other colonies from other accounts.

[Chip the Fire Opal]

Chip was slightly impressed he got his own chair. Yes, it was a minor thing, but he kind of expected they will have to stand in the presence of Diamonds but nope, apparently, they could sit. It made him chuckle a bit. It was even labeled so there was a little chance to do a faux-pas. Sitting down he felt a bit uncomfortable but he quickly shrugged it off and listened. Listening to Pink Diamond he learned that Earth is also called Sigma 1. He hated the name but said nothing. That was probably the only new information about Earth he could learn here - he was made on Earth and lived there for years. He traveled all across the planet, fought monsters and visited many, many gem locations.
Yet since there were some, that didn't visit Earth or did so just rarely they probably needed this information. Darn, he missed Earth. Even fighting the monsters, well perhaps especially fighting the monsters. There was something bracing about it. His thoughts went to "the old one", the only monster he fought into a standstill and couldn't defeat.

Amaranth felt ice creep up his spine the moment searing was revealed. The small comfort of having a set position befitting his station - with the added benefit of having a fellow Pearl to stand with - was far outweighed by the crippling fear of being so close to His Diamond, and Her Radiant fellow Diamonds as well. Every particle of Amaranth’s being screamed at him to kneel and cower away, his joints only vaguely bending to allow a slow padding of feet over to his place. Keeping one’s head lowered while paying attention to proceedings surrounding oneself is a task Pearls are are quite literally built for, but the circumstances were stretching Amaranth’s skills to the brink.

Once in proper form, he spared a cautious glance towards the cream-colored Pearl, looking for a reaction, before settling in to listen with his eyes firmly affixed to the floor.

It would be wise to compile all information on known insurgents, and plan around the planet with precise force as opposed to a more broad charge...’

But it was not his place to speak unrequested, so Amaranth kept his thoughts to himself, the model Pearl as always.

Black Opal had noticed some other gems looking at her strangely, though not speaking up, thankfully. She had only just arrived in the Earth's orbit, so, it would be best not to draw attention, and her previous comment had defeated that purpose, she cursed herself for it and gave the best diamond salute she could give before taking her seat, and looking at her right hand, despite her color already being dark, this one hand was much darker than the rest of her form. She watched, and listened after putting off what the cause of this might be as a bit of discoloration was not nearly as important as this meeting. Black Opal ad been trained with combat since very soon after the two halves that made her up met, and it was her job to capture rebels, the many bubbled gems in her ship's storage bay was proof, this was where she shined, and she knew it, weather everyone else knew, was to be seen. She looked at the info on the given planet, 'Sigma 1', unfitting name in her mind, she took in this info, and frowned, just the weakling abitants of this world could shatter a gem, though she had no conflict with them, only the rebels here. She now waited and watched for the next part in this meeting.

The solemn gem's pursed lips threatened to sour as they not only caught the gaze of the sapphire who had taken such exquisite pleasure in chewing them up and spitting them back out again, but witness those peachy, pouty lips curled upwards in an ostensibly charming smile, but laced with all that cutting cruelty that the Quartz gem knew that she was capable of. It was she that had misled them, not the other way around. Regardless, they spared her a chilly, respectful nod. She would not get to them in the presence of their most glorious Diamond. They had no sooner turned their gaze back to the Diamonds, hoping the honor of laying their eyes upon their patron in the hard-light yet again might wash the frustration and shame from their hue, when a voice, out of turn, spoke up out of nowhere, and their head was one of many that turned questioning towards them. But then came the chairs, and one that bore their own facet and cut near the head of the table. Curious and curiouser. It was a great honor even to stand in the presence of their sovereign, but to sit so close? It was not an honor that could be denied, and they were one of the first to move swiftly to their place. It was not, perhaps, how Yellow Diamond would have done it, but she would expect them to act as instructed on this assignment, so that would sit..no matter how uncomfortable it made them. As the briefing on Sigma-1, the Earth, commenced, they were reminded of their own briefing on one of the outer fringes before their fateful reassignment to this stalled colony, the harsh light cast by the holograms shrouding their face in hard lines.

Melody only glanced at Padparadscha, making a soft smile just to show she noticed her. She then looked at the gem who had enough confidence to speak out to everyone. While their courage was astonishing, this little outburst seemed out of line. Pearl could sense how Pink Diamond wasn't happy about this, she felt sorry for her. Pearl knew how important this meeting was for her.

When Euclase took her sit, Pearl stood behind her on her left side. She just stood there straight with her hands clinged behind her back. Only her eyes would glance at different gems from time to time. It was the moment she noticed a Fire Opal named Chip taking his sit. It was nice to know he was also invited. Seeing so many familiar faces made everything much more enjoyable.

Amaranth Pearl soon joined her. She didn't need to look to knew that something was off. She looked at him with a corner of her eye. His form didn't seem off, but she noticed that he was looking at her. She noded at him and made a small smile. She couldn't do much at that point, but she hoped it would make him feel better. She herself felt odd. Never in her life was she so closed to 3 Diamonds at the same time. She would laugh if someone told her before that this would happen. 

She listened closely to her Diamond. It was probably the first time she heard someone reffering to Earth as "Gaia" or "Sigma 1", but she was aware those names existed. As a Moonbase Pearl she tried to have at least basic knowledge about the Earth and the base itself. She noticed those names once or twice while trying to educate herself by reading some of the data she had a permission to access. She looked closely at the images that poped out, but there was nothing in particular that caught her attention.
