((Semi plot related for Variscite, openly trying to reconnect with his past and to bring the confidence in himself up.))
"A bright light.... that's the first thing I remember..." a passage from a book... or maybe it was a memory? So much has happened it was hard for him to keep track of all the events that had happened.... it was strange to him that so many gems that lived for three or more times longer then him could remember so much! Even more so that THEY did great things, by great he meant more about traveling the stars and... seeing other planets and maybe even other life forms. Upon stepping out from his hole in the Kindergarten, he found himself already in this strange suit.... almost like a combat armor.
The base of the suit was a tan color, light green accents with the armor itself being a neon green color like both his eyes and hair. His "skin" was this tan color that looked remarkably close to human flesh, back to his armor. A breast plate clung to his chest, as well as a whole sleeve of armor running down his right arm, almost like an armored fleece. Simple plating around his legs with some heavy boots strapped to his feet. Unknown to him at the time it was a Homeworld uniform.... a Variscite gem would normally be one of few gems that became a combat specialist. Most likely placed under Yellow Diamond but Varis never made it that far, "Wha? Where....." mumbled from his mouth as he tried to understand what just happen. No one was around.... not a single gem around him.
Unsure of what to do or where to go, Varis just started to wonder off... it took him years before he found any measure of civilization, and even longer for him to understand it. He learned very quickly he was no human... his hair, armor and eyes were clear indication of this. Fast forwarding a few hundred years, and Variscite had learned more of his people and alittle bit about himself. He had found a few Gem structures which would lead him to meeting OTHER gems. Still being shaking with other gems and even more so with the humans (Though they seemed fine.... most of them..) so staying around them wasn't something he would normally do. There was a small group of gems he had traveled with for a small amount of time... less then a year even.
It was good for him as the time he spent with them he learned about summoning his weapon, even started to understand this Soothsaying ability he had... few of the gems he met that knew of said power thought it was odd for a gem such as a Variscite to have power like that but it wasn't unheard of. Fast forward a few more hundred years... it wouldn't be long until we were here, in this.... set.... moment. Varis stood on the edge of the fountain dedicated to the hero he sadly never met. Just sort of this blank look on his face as he glanced up at the statue before looking down at his hand, "Uh..... h-how did Carbonado do this...." He sort of mumbled to himself before taking a deep (And un-needed) breath before plunging his hand deep into his own projections chest.
His form glitching a moment as it faded away and his gem drops..... onto the side of the fountain and falls to the ground just outside of his target.... deep inside the green hexagon gem if anyone could hear inside a gem.... the sound of a palm smacking off a forehead could be heard. Not even trying to freak out over this.... he figured it was a good time to relax and await SOMEONE to come by... hopefully he would be placed in the fountain so his goal could be achieved.
