The Broken gems' logo. It is a cracked mixture between the Homeworld Diamond and the Crystal Gem star. It represents the Broken gems' hatred for both groups.
Faction information.
OLD: The Broken gems were founded by Sulfur, a gem who was thought to be unable to serve his intended purpose on homeworld. He was hunted down and has spent his entire life on the run. Due to horrific experiences he has faced, Sulfur has lost his mind. Few gems as insane as he have joined his group, feeling common ground with the gem. This group doesn't protect humans, nor do they respect the diamond authority. Their sole purpose is to destroy gems that they can without consequence and to spread anarchy. Since the Broken gems are a violent group they like the idea of anarchy as it allows them to do whatever sick thing that they want. Generally the Broken gems do not openly attack their victims, but they have been preforming questionable practices in private. Their name suggests the fact that they are broken mentally and ethically.
Updated Information: The Broken gems member count is uncertain due to many changes in members. The Howlite joined the crystal gems and vanished, and the rest went missing. Due to interactions with crystal gems the Broken Gems faction changed and now is more of a haven for gems that hate or are on bad terms with crystal gems and homeworld gems. The group functions like a pack, and the gems have no formal alliances, they merely fight alongside eachother to fight off hostile gems.
