Shortly after saying goodbye to Morion, Para found herself following the tracks of Light back to the Forge. It seemed he was taking Morion's departure harder than she was, although she could mope about it later. Right now Light needed someone to be there for him, so she began to collect herself. Honestly she was dreading it, sure she was a skilled diplomat, but she wasn't very skilled at more... emotional situations.
Para walked into the main room, the front entrance was wide open so Light must have been through here, "Light dear, are you in here?" She called out, her voice echoing through the facility, trying to figure out where he might be. If he didn't show up in the main room the next place she would check would be his room.
Light came to his room. The room was dark like at night. Ibi was sleeping already on a pillow. For some reason this bird enjoyed to sleep like a human. Light wanted to find a good spot to think. There was a cloud high near the roof. He jumped there and lied on it. He tried to clean his face out of tears "I am really good in embarrassing myself... what will they think of me now. Why did he want me to come there anyway ?"
He summoned a small hologram with the vision. They were the meetings with Morion "We had so much plans to save the Earth. You could have joined us, now it is too late..."
Suddenly he heard Lady Para. Light didn't want her to look at him in such a moment. He quickly took the blanket from bed and went back to the cloud. Than he tried to hide himself. When Para entered a room Ibi woke up. He flew to her and landed on her shoulder. He then started to bite her hair.
After a while Ibi started to sing and landed on Pearl's head. Liht was obviously still trying to pretend that he is not here.

It was terribly quiet in the Forge, Para began to wonder if Light really had gone elsewhere. She decided to at least check his room before looking elsewhere, the door sliding open in front of her revealing the interior of Light's room. It was by far the most decorated part of the Forge, she had yet to bother decorating her own room and the main area was more for business than looks.
First thing that grabbed her attention was the bird Light had been taking care off, a creature she still didn't understand very much. It did have its charm though, she couldn't help but like the little feathered creature. She gave it a scratch on the head as it flew onto her shoulder, a tad annoyed at its habit for chewing her hair. "Hello there... what does Light call you? Ibi? Don't suppose you know where he is..."
As if on cue Ibi flew off and landed on the covered up form of Light, singing some sort of tune she didn't recognize. It still amazed her that even animals on this planet enjoyed music, but that was a thought for another time.
She walked up next to what she assumed was Light hiding and sat down, pausing for a moment to think how to proceed, "Light dear? Are you alright?" she picked up Ibi and place him to the side, patting what she assumed to be Light's head, "Talk to me, let me know what is troubling you."
Light started to sweat when Ib was singing. It was a bad sign, Para could find him. The birdi landed on him. He shook w little so Ibi would fly away. However it failed, Ibi was still sitting on him. "Ibi... not now."
Suddenly he felt like something was touching him, it was Para's hand. He didn't want to talk with her after what he did."I am fine..."
When Para moved Ibi he sit "Everything is fine, no need to worry about me. Why didn't you just stay with others? Morion probably need you" Light wasn't sure if he wants to talk about this. What was the point? Para arleady had a lot of problems. It would just make her feel worse.
Pearl also realized something. Morion and Para were working with each other very often. Ehat if she will go with Morion to continue their projects?

Para wasn't exactly an empath, but her diplomatic skills did allow her to read someone's words rather well. It was clear that Light certainly wasn't fine, and it began to become clearer as he asked about why she was here, "Please Light, at this point I can tell when you are distressed." she shook her head, "The others can wait, we aren't going to be solving this issue today. And if Morion needs me, he will have to find me. The person who really needs me right now is you."
Her hands began to fidget as she grew a bit awkward, "Light you were uh... you were there for me at my darkest points. When I thought the rebellion was over, when I... 'fell' over the cliff. So I want to well... ahem," her hand reached out for his and her eyes locked onto his own, "I want to be there for you. To be strong for you, like you were for me. So please, tell me what is wrong."
Light didn't like to talk about his problems. It was probably one of his many disadvantages. He probably just didn't like to worry others. It just didn't felt right. People were feeling sad because of him. It is like he huerted them. And he didn't want to worry his closest friend and a part of something that people call "family". "I told you, I am fine."
It was becoming hard for him to hold the emotions. Her last words were just... too much for him. He cried a little "Nothing is wrong! Let's just... Let's just... take care of the more important things. It is nothing worth taking care of, nohing at all. We have got your golems and other things... Let's just don't waste time..."

It hurt her a bit that Light didn't want to let her in on what was bothering him, but Para knew that it wasn't because he didn't trust her or anything. She shook her head again, this poor gem...
Still, she knew how painful it could be not to get something off your chest. One last try, "Light dear, you are more important. Everything I'm doing here, all of this work- all these questionable projects, they are for your sake. So that when we are done here, we can set our weapons down. So that there will be a Earth waiting for us after the war, a place for you... us to live in peace." She hugged him from behind, holding Light close to herself, "I just want you to be happy, nothing is more important to me even my own well being."
Light didn't understand Para's last sentence. "What do you mean? Why is my happines more important than your life? It... doesn't make sense... just... why? Why do you care so much about me and not about yourself?"
Pearl cleaned his face from tears "Without Morion our changes to win the war are small. He was giving us materials... he was able to make humans in Empire City help us. What will we do now? He is gone forever and nothing will change that. What will happen to us... what will happen to you?!"
There was something else, Light failed. He was trying to help Morion, tochange his mind. Morion is not really a Homeworld gem, he is a friend. He could have join rebelion and support them during war. His ship with humans could fly with someone else. With other gem that would help humans live on a new planet. But Morion was scared... he was scared of his life. Just like Flint Quartz and Blue Emerald. All of them weren't ready to sacrifise everything for something great, for a free Earth. However Morion at least cared about humans and tried to do something. He did one good thing. Even if Diamonds will win... the Earth creatures will survive. But for how long?
"Everything here might be dead soon... and that is all my fault. I was able to change Morion's mind. But I did nothing."
He started to cry again. Thiis time he was making louder noises. But this time he was just too depressed to go. Now he fully understanded what happened. He didn't think that he looks like a cry baby for Para right now. Ibi got scared and flew away.

Light's first question was a hard one to answer, as Para honestly didn't know, "I don't know how to put it Light, because truthfully I do not know myself. I'm not sure how to describe this feeling, but I just know that deep down... it makes me happy to see you happy." There was certainly more to it, but now wasn't the time.
She listened in silence, hating to see Light like this. Seeing him in any distress was painful to see, as far as she was concerned if anyone deserved to be untroubled it was Light. Para continued to hold onto him, "I will be honest, it saddens me greatly to see Morion leave. But he was just a piece of the puzzle, his support was incredibly useful but it is not irreplaceable. Materials can be found, and the people will flock to our side once the truth becomes evident. As for us, for me... just, don't worry about me. Just know, that I will do everything in my power to make sure you are safe."
The sudden crying from Light alarmed her, she wanted nothing more than to comfort him and make it stop. Not really sure what to do she acted more on panicked instinct, holding him closer to her. She began to tear up herself, "I know dear, I know. I swear, everything is going to be alright. I wish we could have had Morion with us, I really do, but we are going to save this planet. Everyone is going to live, and we'll get our happy ending."
And so she sat there with him, holding and crying with him in the silence of the Forge.
Light didn't know what to say. She was acting like an angel. Light felt like he is nothing like she. Would he be able to dedicate his life for someone that is worth less and he? She was stronger mentally, more inteligent, more mature. Lady Para was really better than him in every way. "I don't understand..."
Para kept talking like he was more important than she. Nobody ever acted like this for him "But if you are protecting me... who will protect you? I am not strong enough, you deserve assistant that can fight. I am sure Fibrolite or Bloodstone would be a much better choice. The best thing I can do for you is cleaning. I couldn't even stay loyal to you."
Para was still there, she didn't give up. After few minutes Light calmed down a little. "You really think so? Are we really able to do this?" Suddenly Ibi flew to them again. He repeated one of Para's last words "save this planet".

"Dear, if I wanted someone who can protect me I'd have some quartz running about here. If need be I can simply create something to defend myself. Besides, I have faith that when it really matters you'll surprise yourself with what you can do. There's the heart of a warrior in there somewhere, I know that much."
She sighed, "Loyalty isn't what I want. Loyalty is what we had for the Diamonds, unquestioning faith in someone. And it isn't very often someone is deserving of loyalty. I just can hope that you trust and care about me, like I do for you. That's all I could ever want."
A bit of a smile grew on her face, it was heartwarming to see Light calm down, "I believe we have a very good chance, and to be honest that's better than we could have hoped for before. But we aren't going to win without acting." She gave him one last hug, "I'll wait for you in the main room whenever you're ready dear. I think it's time we make some real defenders for Earth."
And just like that she exited the room (unless Light has something else to say) and waiting in the main room of the Forge for however long Light needed.
"Even if I have got it... it is not enough to survive in a battle. What will I do? Throw stick at enemies and run away from them?"
He didn't expect those words from her. After all loyal assistant is what everyone wants. Not to mention Pearls are suppose to be loyal. It is really hard to make them not follow orders of their master. But in this case Lady Para is not his master. However at the same time he likes to be loyal to her like other Pearl's are for their owners. It is hard to explain. Light never met such a person. "But you do deserve loyality and I want to be loyal to you. And yes... I do trust and care about you."
Light was suprised that she wanted to hug him again. Light hugged her back and listened to her words with curiosity. He wasn't sure what she means, was she talking about golems. "ohh okay..." He watched her leaving the room.
Pearl sighed and went to Ibi "Do you also have got problems like that one in your life?" Parrot made a small cry and jumped, he than climbed Light and started biting his hair "Maybe you can only repeat words... but you are still great cheering other people. Just like Lady Para!"
He placed Ibi on the cloud desk and looked at the door once more. He than cleaned his face one more and went to the main room of the Forge "Lady Para? How can I help you?"

Para was sitting there, waiting in silence of the main room. She stayed seated near the anvil, relaxing with her eyes closed contemplating recent events. The opening of the door roused her out of her idle thoughts, turning to smile at the seemingly cheered up Light.
She was sure neither of them wanted to dwell on things so she continued on, "Ah, there is much to do dear! It is finally time to put the golem project into production. Thankfully I have already been doing much of the work over the last few weeks, but the hard part is to be done now." Para gestured for Light to join her at the anvil, pulling up a datapad to show what appeared to be a chemical breakdown of some sort of metallic alloy, "This here is instructions for a metal alloy that is very useful. It is both incredibly resilient to physical damage, but is also so effective is distributing heat that nothing short of pure magma can melt it. Suffice to say it is ridiculously difficult and expensive to create and use, but that was percisely why I had Morion deliver all those materials." Her smile showed the culmination of her pride of this project that had been in the works for months now.
"I have created the framework of the first suit that we shall be making, but the armoring plates and internal mechanics still need to be made. Sadly due to the nature of the alloy we will be unable to make the internal systems from the same material, but I have a somewhat close substitute. Compared to the alloy it is like comparing steel to copper. But it will have to do. Now, for us to begin I will need you to start the molecular assembler and plug this in," she handed Light was looked like a thumb drive, "Once it is in the machine it will run through various schematics to produce the required components. While you do that I will prep the molds."
Light looked with curiosity. He was wondering what is that hard part. "Of course! So... what should I do? It sounds like it is gonna be something hard to do." He was also hoping that these golems will be calm and will obey orders "It is safe, right? Please tell me it is safe."
He slowly approached to the anvil and looked at it "Sounds like they will be able to easly take a hit. It is... like some sort of armor, like bones that are outside of the body. But can it take a hit from current Homeworld technology? Our enemy have a lot of different weapons after all."
Light listened closely, he wanted to understand everything. Even thought he was pretty clever and had a lot of contact with technology and different materials, Lady Para was always able to make something sound more complex. He grabed the thumb drive that Para gave him "That sounds pretty easy, I should be able to do that."
Light approached the machine. There were tons of light bulbs, butons, plugs, dials... after 3 seconds he finnaly found the right plug "Okay, I have got it. In 3... 2... 1..." He than pluged it. The rest of the job was in Padparadcsha's hands.

Slowly Para pulled various molds from storage, each one shaped into various parts that would make up the body of the golem. Each one was rather sizable, altogether it would easily amass to a ten foot tall giant. As she was moving them Para talked to pass the time, "Haha, oh dear you have no idea. This alloy is cutting edge material, it will be able to take a direct blast from a modern light cannon and shrug it off. Of course that being said I calculated for ground versions, not ship-mounted versions... But I doubt we will face that any time soon!"
Suffice to say it took Para longer to drag each mold out than it took Light to input the commands, leaving the assembler to begin whirring away making various rather large internal components. As she finished bringing out the molds she also laid out a sizable melting pot, "Alright dear, I am going to begin creating the alloy. This melding pot will obviously not contain enough for the entire project so I will have to create more as we go. While I do this I will need you to handle the molds, bringing them from the pot to settle elsewhere while they cool down."
With the new directions given Para set to work, going to the containers that held part of the processed metal ores. Scooping out large amounts of various metals she finished it off with what looked to be a solid chunk of an odd material. With everything inside (leaving the pot rather full) she pushed it into the magma-fall at the back of the Forge, albeit with some difficulty considering the weight of it. While it began to heat up Para looked back to Light, "Ready?"

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
