The sapphire's eyes widened as Opalite decimated the enemy in one decisive move, while Blue Gold finished the rest. The tension in her shoulders subsided, and she allowed her focus to falter as she recalled her plasma. She turned, caught sight of the other gems celebrating, then turned her eyes to the Pink Pearl, who was still shaken after such a close call. Padparadscha cleared her throat.
"That won't be the last of them. I can tell the two of you are from off-planet, so you may not be aware, but these are corruptions," She kept her tone low, but it darkened unconsciously as she continued to speak,"It isn't known what causes corruption, so it might be best to make haste. I don't plan to become a twisted creature like that any time soon,"
Padparadscha considered her mission for a moment. She'd been asked to gather evidence of an intruder, and that she had. However, she still didn't know anything about these gems, or why they'd come here in the first place. If she could bring these gems back to headquarters, that would be a whole other level of completion for this mission. Still, both of them had proven to be very powerful, and she didn't want to put her pearl-- who was still pacing nervously-- through anymore strife for the day. She decided to take another bold risk. "Where...where do the two of you plan to go? After this, I mean?"
Blue opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by a loud roar. She turned in the direction of which it seemed to come from and soon hears loud footsteps quickly approaching. "I don't think we're done here." She said and summoned her sword. Opalite shivered and watched for the creature to come into sight, she didn't have anything else that she could use against this creature, seeing as how nothing electrical was near and no plasma was around anymore either. Opalite looked worried as a large corrupted gem came into view and let out a horrifying roar. Blue got ready to fight and watched it, looking for an advantage to strike, or a vulnerable spot on the creature.
For a moment, the sapphire calculated quietly. She had the bare minimum needed for her mission to be considered successful-- if she and her pearl ran for the warp, they could leave these two strange intruders to fend for themselves. All the same, the thought of doing that didn't sit well with her. Padpara had seen more than her fair share of corruption on this planet-- some days she found herself shaken only by the memories of dealing with those dreadful creatures. These gems may or may not have been her comrades, but she knew either way that this wasn't going to be pleasant for any of them. She swallowed, and prepared herself for a tougher battle.
This corruption towered over the rest, the gemstone on its face glimmered in the light. Padparadscha's eyes trailed down to its feet, where she knew she could be of the most use. She would be quickly out of energy, so this next maneuver would have to serve a few different purposes. Blue goldstone seemed to be a close-combat warrior, and she considered that she would have to be careful, but she gave a nod to Opalite.
"Here comes more plasma," She uttered, "I'm going to try to trap it," Though the corruption was awfully enormous, she didn't know how long she'd be able to hold such a beast down. She steeled herself, and ran forward, throwing her plasma out at the ground in front of the creature as it prowled toward the group. "M-m-my sapphire!" Pink Pearl blurted,"Don't!"
Opalite lifted her hands out in front of her as Blue trailed closely behind the Sapphire, once the Plasma was down, Blue grabbed Padpara and threw her back towards the other two gems. While Opalite formed the plasma into a ramp of sorts, Blue dove into a spin-dash, using the ramp to throw herself into the air and above the beast, after she was up the plasma formed into anchors around the creature's feet. Blue came out of her spin-dash and dove for the creature, her sword in hand and pointed at the creature, who struggled against the plasma at it's feet. Opalite looked as though she was gonna faint from over exertion soon and soon fell to her knees, unable to hold the creature in place any more, Blue landed on the creature's back, impaling it with her sword but only to be knocked off and to the ground, as she recovered from the fall the creature brought it's massive foot down on top of her, quickly causing her to poof. Opalite looked distraught as she watched her friend loose the battle so quickly. "W-what is that thing?" She asked, clearly she's never seen her friend defeated so easily.
The sapphire's eyebrows went up as she was suddenly chucked through the air, and she skidded in a less-than-graceful landing on her feet. She gained her bearings for a few moments, trying to get an idea of what was going on. Her eyes fell on her pearl, who had dropped to her knees in her own near-faint, then the sapphire put her eyes on Opalite, who had also buckled from exhaustion. She swiveled her head back around, and her mouth fell open in horror as she watched the beast's foot slam down on top of the warrior who she had-- up to that point-- been pinning her strategies around. She glanced back to Opalite, dread bubbling in her as she realized that most of the group had already been wore down far too much to make a stand against this corruption.
"It's a greater corruption-- we need to retreat!" Padpara said, her eyes flickering back up to the beast as it contended with Opalite's anchors. Her voice firm, she continued, "We'll be shattered if we stick around here, we need to get to the warps!" At that, the pearl needed no convincing, she scrabbled to her feet and dashed toward the warps. Unfortunately, this drew the attention of the corruption, who watched the servant while it snapped itself free from the rest of its restraints.
Opalite struggled to stand and watched the spot of which where her friend's gem sat. "We need to get blue." Opalite said and tried to step forward, only to fall again. "Please, I won't leave her here." Opalite begged with Padpara to help. "I can't get to her by myself." She said with a shaky voice, obviously exhausted and unable to do much. She looked at the sapphire with teary eyes. "Please." She asked once more, and looked back to where the monster stood over her friend's unmoving gem, the sword that had once been dug into the creature's back had now been dematerialized. The gem made no effort to reform. On top of the fact that there was a monster guarding her gem.
Padparadscha grimaced at the sight of the gem's tears, and her desperate pleading. Dread and fear climbed through the sapphire like a blade of ice. She knew how she would feel if she were in the same position, but at the same time, was she going to risk her life for gems that she didn't know? For gems who could be the enemy, for all intents? It was an absolutely insane risk for her to take, and one she definitely hadn't counted on having to consider today. She was a sapphire, not meant for battle, and would be quickly poofed herself without back up. Would these gems stick their necks out for her if they knew she was a Homeworld affiliate? She had no way of knowing, but the shattering of gems was something that horrified her, even after years of working in the courts of law. It was highly probable that these two would be shattered if her and her servant did nothing.
Her head whipped toward Pink Pearl, who yelped as the creature dove after her. With the corruption distracted by the servant who was making a mad scramble for the warps, Padparadscha swallowed hard, and made her own break forward. She slid up to the blue gem that sat inert in the dust, and snatched it up. Her whole body felt like it was going to melt from the sheer amount of adrenaline pumping through her, her legs wobbled for a moment as she looked up to see the creature striking down at her pearl-- Padpara was again stabbed with adrenaline, and tossed out an orb of plasma to smack the creature in the back of the head. It turned on her with an aggravated shriek, and Padparadscha lobbed the blue goldstone's gem at Opalite. Then, her mind went blank with fear.
Opalite caught her friend's gem and with a final call for her own strength, lifted her hands out in front of her, turning the orb of plasma into a long spike which shifted direction and shot for the creature, traveling straight through the thing's head, it stopped and staggered as it was clear, it's gem had been cracked by the final attack. The creature began to fall forward and poof before it hit the ground. Opalite let her arms go limp as she looked at her friend's gem and sighed. Her friend wouldn't come back for a while, as it seemed. She looked in the direction of the two who had helped her to try and spot them through the dust cloud that had been kicked up in an attempt to stop the massive creature.
The sapphire stood dumbfounded as Opalite made a final maneuver, destroying the creature in seconds. In the whirl of shimmering dust that burst around her, she stood completely still, then turned slowly to look toward the gem who had made the attack. Padpara didn't know what to think about these gems, but she did know that they were powerful, whoever they were. Pink Pearl sprinted up to her, shaking, and fell to her side. "Are you alright, your clarity?" She blubbered.
"I'm fine, pearl," the sapphire breathed, and then brushed the dust off of her skirt. She rolled her shoulders to loosen the tension in them, flicked her wrists to rid them of the shaking in her hands, then clasped together. With her chin held up and her lips pursed, she made her way over to Opalite as she clutched her friend's gem. "Now that it's over, I will ask again. Where do you plan to go after this?"
She looked up at the sapphire. "Away from here." The somewhat frightened gem responded. She stood up shakily and looked around for a way out of the kindergarden. She spotted the warp pad and looked away from it, not wanting to leave the planet. She still held her friend's gem close to her own and took a small step towards the way they came from. She turned around and took a few steps in that direction. She turned yet again and just stayed in one spot for a few seconds before sitting down again and sighing. She clearly didn't know the planet well, and wanted to leave the place before more creatures could come back and attack the three gems.
"Away?" The sapphire echoed, her tone softening a bit. "Yes, perhaps we can move to a location more suitable for civil talk. You can follow my pearl and I, if you wish. We can warp to a nearby field and discuss the matter of your entry to this zone," She gave a nod to the mysterious gem before her. Then, the small corundum turned, and began to make her way from whence she came, without looking back at Opalite and her poofed comrade. As she walked, she retreated into a deep rumination, thinking on her own actions and those of the gems she'd just witnessed in the heat of battle. Something was extremely off about this whole encounter. What in the name of the Diamonds were these gems doing here? She supposed she might find out soon. If not, she would have evidence enough to document them. Still, these gems seemed to be civil enough from what little non-fraught interaction she'd been given.
Pink Pearl and Padpara made their way up the narrow path, toward the warp pad, while the servant kept her eyes out for more corruptions, or the reaction from the stranger the two of them had just met.
Opalite watched as the two left. "Where are you suggesting we go?" Opalite calls out in question, as she stands and looks around. "And what are we to do after we get there?" She asked and followed, but didn't step onto the warp pad. "If you don't mind me asking." She said and eyed the pad releuctantly, not wanting to step on without knowing their destination. She steps back a bit and looked at the sapphire. She looked back the way they came and thought about returning in that direction before looking back at the two on the warp pad, she stepped back once more, out of an arms reach for either of the two who stood in front of her
"There is another warp station nearby that we will be heading to," She said to Opalite, giving her a look from the corner of her eyes as she stood on the warp next to her pearl,"I assure you it will be much more safe than this...this place. The corruptions are, for the most part, sealed here. Then, perhaps we can talk?" She wondered why the gem seemed to be so reluctant to leave this place. The sapphire herself was ready to put everything behind her before it had even began. All the same, it seemed apparent that this gem was too shaken to be in the right mind to make decisions, let alone give useful data. Padpara's eyes moved onto the motionless gem in Opalite's hands, and she wondered what kind of information this Blue Goldstone could provide, if she was able to reform.
"Whatever you do, I suggest you get away from this place before you and your comrade are contaminated, which will be unavoidable if you linger," Her tone was more firm now. Though she couldn't truthfully say she knew what caused corruption, she did know that corrupted creatures had once been gems, just like herself, or pearl.
"We won't leave earth?" Opalite asked, still reluctant to get on the warp pad, she didn't want to leave the planet because of how soon it had been since what had happened that made her come to the planet in the first place. She took a hesitant step towards the pad, but it was clear she was unfamiliar with the warp pad and hadn't wanted to leave the planet, for what ever reason she had. But it didn't seem like she was gonna come any closer until she had conformtion that they would not leave Earth. She just looked back again, and it was clear that she was on the brink of running in the other direction, and probably not looking back.
The sapphire's thin brows floated up in a sort of perplexed look. Earth had been a back-water planet for many tens of thousands of years, it wasn't out of the question to assume that this Opalite hadn't heard much of what happened here, though for the past handful of millennia, the small colony had picked up quite a reputation for itself. She would expect them to hear something about the rebellion at the very least, and wondered if word of the actions of said rebellion had reached many colonies. Perhaps the information had been suppressed. "Ah...well, the galaxy warps have all been destroyed since the...well, for a few solar cycles now," She admitted,"No one can warp off-planet. This particular warp can only lead to certain surface locations, many of those areas are rebel-controlled,"
Padparadscha truly hated that she had to tell these gems that an important aspect of the colony had been compromised, leaving many gems stranded on the surface, and others such as herself without a convenient means of travel. It also meant that Homeworld gems had to wait a great deal longer to reach word from their central origin planet. She decided that it would be better for now if she didn't go into detail about the rebellion.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
