A few of you have no doubt had some encounters with those horrific shadow creatures. Although most of them have been defeated easily the question still remains of how they managed to pop up in every location. The answer thanks to the effort of Malachite and Meta Autunite has now finally been revealed.

The Warp stream, naturally it makes sense that a creature that inhabits the physical incarnation of the journey between two points can appear anywhere.
Finally the True villain can be revealed. Your gems will have to find this out in time from the thread but i will give you guys the OOC info about him now. Your characters will not know this stuff. The only thing you should know is that he can make some form of shadow creatures. Since most of you fought them or would of heard of them. All of you wont really even know he is a single gem until you meet him.
So there you have it. This thread also serves as the sigh up thread. Post below if your interested in being part of this event.

2. There is a posting order, the posting order will be first comes,first serves meaning that its the order that your first posts are in. (Depending the amount this may not apply to my account as being the SWRP villain i may need to post wherever to compensate for all of you attacking me, allowing the battle to flow more naturally)
3. Your going up against a strong opponent expect to be hit (This account rank is the strength of one of his elite, he will be a rank higher).

Appearance: Perhaps at one stage Sapphire had a more traditional form but exposure to the void has morphed this standard body into silhouette of what it once was. Similar to the wisps and penumbra his form will simply shift to what is appropriate for the situation. The only recurring features being the smooth black star Sapphire on his forehead and the glaring white eyes.
Personality: Detached from reality Black star exists purely for his own agenda and will. This fortitude has allowed him to resist any form of corruption despite his influx of negative emotions. Calculative and absolute he will not hesitate to bubble those in his way. This within it self though shows some sort of control and kindness, despite his maliciousness he has never cracked a gem and seems that destroying gem is impractical. This trait seems to be leftover from a purer side that has ceased to exist.

Dislikes: Your unbubbled gem.
Fears: perhaps when he was sane
Ability 1: Dark Hard Light Manipulation
He is able to convert Shadows into solid matter allowing him to create weak shadow minions (wisps) or creatures that can sap the energy of retreated gems (Penumbras). He can’t manipulate shadows on gems bodies.
Ability 2: Shadows Sonar
He and by extension the Penumbras can sense and see any objects that has a shadow cast on it.
History: In the creation of any Technology there will always be setbacks and hiccups. Black Star Sapphire was the earth warp’s set back. At one stage, a very long time ago, gems arrived to earth and constructed great temples around the planet. Like most planets a networks of warps was put in for easy transportation and Black Star Sapphire who back then was just orange Sapphire was part of the installation team and was the first to use the warps. He went in one warp, and never came out of another.
His two destinations never connected leaving him endlessly floating within the void. This was the first malfunction the warps had caused. Granted this was a relatively minor for a chipper young gem, he would simply jump to the nearest warp and inform them of the issues. This is where the second and more sinister malfunction came into play. The warp had unintentionally binded his very existence to the void as it had tried to transport him across time and space. His body and gem unable to enter any warps streams it had slowly dawned on him that he was trapped within the void forever.
No one checked, no one cared that he was missing, he was just a simple maintenance gem, easily replaced. So he remained moving through the void, watching those travel through. He saw how gems had evolved, the numbers and the types of stones expanding, at the same time his stone became more integrated with the void, it shifted colours and smoothed down, losing its faceted shape. Soon orange sapphire was reborn as Black Star Sapphire. Using this time he honed down his art, realising that the void had gifted him with the ability to manipulate shadows. Over time he learnt how to send this creatures through the warps and view the outside world. Becoming a self-proclaimed watcher he saw how many gems where turning and slowly began to realise that with this infection Gem survivable was unsustainable. From that point onwards he made it his goal to contain all gems inhabiting the Earth, allowing the other creatures to live freely on the planet without the fear of the monstrous gems. This was when he had started sending out his shadows to fight.
