Para wanted to know something more about this new gem "Of course... Do you want me to call someone for help? He might be dangerous."
Pearl had no idea what to think about this gem. He was csared of him because of the way he act, look and say. However from the other hand it looks like his ability is controling him... What was the point of making a gem that is controled by his own ability? What were diamonds thinking? When Light was in hw he was able to connect to computer and search for informations so he could show them to others with his hologram ability. However he never heard of a gem kind called 'Fiblorite'. Maybe it was a really old gem.
Fibrolite was staring blankly at some sort of hammer on the ground, when the padparadscha spoke to him again. He slowly turned to face her before answering her question. "The hands make sure that I am doing everything properly." That wasn't what he thought of them, it was simply their purpose. He couldn't even remember what he really thought of them, they'd quite literally slapped those thoughts out of him.
As for the other question, he wasn't sure if he wanted to answer it, or if he even could answer it. It didn't matter though, he'd already given up for the most part, he was ready to just wait and see how things played out. With that, he spoke again, in that same monotone voice. "The diamonds had us tested, and we failed somewhere along the line, all of us. They didn't tell us how, or where we failed, just that we were being recalled for being unreliable."
It never made sense to him, he was made specifically to be reliable, as far as he had ever been concerned, he must've been one of the most reliable gems out there. An unreliable gem would never blatantly say that they had been considered unreliable, none of it made sense, not then, not now. But nevertheless, his expression remained empty the entire time.

"Let us not trouble anyone just yet, I am confident this situation is under control." The explanation of the odd hands served mostly to raise more questions, although at least now she knew their basic purpose at least. As things progressed it became somewhat obvious that Fibrolite didn't pose much of a threat to them, he seemed far too passive to make a move. Her curiosity had been peaked, though it seemed answers may be rather limited. "Awfully tragic, I am sorry you were locked away for so long. Thankfully Light here found you, so now you are free. I suspect you would not want to return to the authorities, correct? I would imagine they would only imprison you again."
Light was standing near Para while looking with scared look. Now he knew Fibrolte's ability purpose. This information made him feel bad for Handy (I won't stop calling you like that ^^). He spend his life with something that was controling him. Layer he was stuck in a glove... and now he has got no way to go.
Pearl was still trying to be careful, after all he wasn't nice to him. Para wanted him to stay away from diamonds . Light turned to her "Para... you know the way he talks. How he was talking about me." Pearl glared at the gem "I am not sure if he will just betray hw now. It will be better if we will talk with him about current situation, what happened, etc. He doesn't know a lot about Earth and rebelion. Maybe then he will even want to join us... and stop acting like this." Pearl wasn't so scared of him anymore when he saw that weird gem is tired and not able to hurt him
Fibrolite didn't understand some of what the padparadscha had said, he looked at her just a little more intently as he tried to comprehend it. "It isn't too bad that I was locked away, it gave me a chance to aid homeworld that I wouldn't have had otherwise." This wasn't how he actually felt, not in the least, but it was how he would speak. As if homeworld, as if the diamonds, were perfect. If he told the truth, the hands would correct him.
The rest of what the padparadscha said was the part that he didn't understand. "Return to the authorities..." His eyes narrowed slightly. "They would surely put me back into a new glove, however, you are authority enough are you not?" Fibrolite was planning a way to stay out of the glove, and to convince his helping hands that it would be better that way. "If you'd like, I can follow any orders you want, and serve you, I believe that I could serve homeworld far better like that, than if I was returned to an artefact." Without turning his head, he looked at the ground, pleased to see that the hands never emerged.
Fibrolite was almost sceptical of the way these gems acted, the pearl was speaking without being spoken to, and the padparadscha seemed completely okay with it. That didn't matter much to him at this point though, his goal was survival, and as long as the padparadscha wasn't blatantly going against homeworld or anything crazy like that, he wasn't going to care.

"I believe you are right Light, it seems he has been in there for quite some time." She turned to Fibrolite again, relaxing a bit, "I simply meant that I'm sure a better use could have been found for you, even in your state." It almost seemed like he was starting to catch onto what she was saying, "I think simply placing you in another glove would be a gross waste of your capabilities, I would much rather see what you could do. As well I am rather curious about the long version of your story."
She walked over and sat down on the anvil, "So, show me what you can do. Let's see the true capabilities of your powers, have no fear of judgement. You are free either way."
"He really don't know anything... he think you are on home world side." Light was really curious right know. How long this gem called Fibrolite was in his glove? And how many Fibrolites are still alive?
Para wanted to sit on the anvil. Before she did Light clean it as fast and good as he can. Than he took an old box that was in the corner and sit on it near Para. "I need to give you some chairs from my gem room. They will look great here... and we will have a normal place to sit." After a while Pearl turned to Para "He is not going to replace me... right?" Light was overreacting like usuall for no reason...
From the way that the padparadscha phrased it, it sounded like he was going to be kept outside of the glove. His expression didn't show it, but he did actually feel relief at this thought. Fibrolite watched as she went and sat on an anvil, listening to what she had to say next.
Show her what you... can do. Fibrolite wasn't sure how the hands were going to respond to this one, but nonetheless, his response was a simple "Okay."
Very suddenly, Fibrolite's pupils dilated, and five of the hands from before shot up from the ground. One of them grabbed Fibrolite by his back, while the other four went off on their own. Right away, all four of the other hands started picking up the mess on the floor, sorting it into piles off to the side. While The other hand brought Fibrolite to the smaller pieces that the hands left behind. In no time at all, the room's floor was spotless. Nothing left except a few piles off to the side.
As soon as it was done, the hand holding Fibrolite let go, dropping him to the ground where he landed on his feet. All five hands then proceeded to disappear back into the ground below them, leaving just him and the two other gems in the room. He then turned to look at padparadscha again, as if to question if what he'd done would suffice or not.

Para's whispers to Light continued, "Yes, truly interesting. It must have been ages ago that we was put into that thing... Oh, and some chairs would be nice." Her attention stayed on Fibrolite for a moment but whipped back around to Light, "What?! Replace you? Don't be silly Light, I could never replace you. A helping hand might be nice, but I consider you a friend and a considerable ally. Don't be saying nonsense like that." It worried her how little confidence Light had in his position, partially because she held rather similar feelings below her calm demeanor.
Her eyes lit up upon seeing Fibrolite become surrounded by these helping hands, making swift work of the rather cluttered mess that was the Forge. "Oh dear, why would they ever think to lock away such skill! You seem more than capable to be of assistance."
When Para said that she will never replace him Pearl felt much better. "Of course... It won't happen again." After all in hw he would be arleady replaced for a better model.
Fibrolite was good in his job. That is what made Light a little afraid. Para being excited by his skills wasn't helping "I can do this too... maybe without these big hands but still." Light summoned 4 holo pearls and started cleaning rest of the forge. He also used his ability 'magical wind' to boost his speed. He have meanged to end this in exactly the same time as Fiblorite "Uhhh... Uhhh... Who was faster Lady Para?" He was a little tired from using his abilities at the same time.
Fibrolite was actually quite relieved to hear that the padparadscha considered him to be skillful as well as useful, although nobody would have been capable of reading that from his face. That was all he cared about after all, was proving to be useful enough for this gem to want to keep him. After all, the last thing he wanted was to end up back in that glove.
His attention was then directed to the Pearl who seemed to think that they were competing in some way. Fibrolite didn't even acknowledge the fact that Pearl thought of it like that, he just turned to him, and spoke. "It's good to see that you are capable of fulfilling your function, maybe you aren't defective after all." It was in that same dull tone again, but it was still the nicest thing he'd said to the Pearl so far, despite the fact that it was quite possibly the only thing he'd said to the Pearl. He didn't make a habit of talking to servants ranking even below him. He only spoke to the Pearl because he proved to be a fairly impressive one. It was now a little more clear to him, as to why Padparadscha would keep such a poor mannered pearl.
He wasn't too overly fond of playing a similar role to a Pearl at this point, after all, he wasn't just made to follow orders. It may have been a part of what he was made to do, but his primary role was not as a servant, it was as a soldier. However he was still willing to do it if it meant staying out of the glove.

She was about to say but Light had already set to work, making rather short work of the remaining clutter. It was sort of redundant but she had to admit he certainly was more thorough in his work. Once Light finished something struck Para, was he jealous? It was becoming obvious by now, "Hmm, I must say you both are very skilled. Quite the competition indeed, but you know I have a soft spot for you Light." She turned to Fibrolite, "So, what else can you do? Surely cleaning isn't your only function. Come now, try to impress me. The stage is yours my dear." Curiosity has fully taken her now, she was dying to see what the extent of this gem could do with his helping hands.
Fibrolite was a little unsure about this now. His abilities were mainly combat based, and he didn't want his helping hands to start doing something crazy. They were quite unpredictable at times, and at this point, it almost felt like para was asking for something to go wrong. He looked around the room, trying to find something else that he could do, taking quick note of a control module.
Very suddenly, a similar event to what happened earlier occurred once more. Fibrolite's pupils dilated, and all five arms came out at once. Only something was wrong, he looked around at them briefly, noting the fact that there was only four. Then brought his eyes to the control module he saw earlier. One of the hands had gone right into it, he could tell by how it had changed colour slightly. "I'm not sure what that controls, but you may want to avert your eyes to it..." This was a different ability that Fibrolite had, one that he didn't really want to show off. He could essentially override the controls for stuff, with each hand he could do five remotes at once, and depending on how many things those remotes controlled, the ability could get scary in the right place. Perhaps it was the reason he got shoved in the glove. Either way, a bunch of blasters powered up and started shifting directions, but none of them fired. Fibrolite just stared blankly, unsure of how to deal with it, he wasn't in control, the hands were, and so he was pretty powerless against it.
He was then taken by surprise when two of the other hands picked him up by the arms, lifting him up in the air. He looked around for a moment before finding Padparadscha again, where he just sort of left his eyes. The arms squeezed him again, and continued to do so until he summoned his weapon. Except he never grabbed onto his weapon, one of his hands did, and to be fair, he probably wouldn't have been able to hold it, because the sword was humongous. Almost the size of him. The hands never stopped though, they just kept squeezing, until once more, Fibrolite created another one of the sword, and the last hand grabbed hold of it.
At this point, one of the hands had control over the blasters, two were holding huge swords, and the remaining two were carrying Fibrolite's body. His body looked like that of a toy doll at this point, exhausted to the point where he wouldn't be able to stand up without the help of the hands. Summoning two of that gigantic weapon was not easy, and he had fully exerted himself.
Now he just looked at padparadscha, waiting for her to say that it was good enough, so that the hands would disappear.
Light wasn't sure what Fiblorite was trying to say. If he was trying to be nice he failed. Light gave him a little confused look after his weird words.
When Para said that she has got soft spot for Pearl he calmed down. He really didn't want to be outclassed. Peara however wanted to see more of his abilities "Yeah show us. I am interested too..." Filbrolite summoned some hands... why did he let hold a weapon. "What are you doing?! Don't play with weapons here!" Pearl turned to Para "Lady Para it is too dangerous here! I can take care of him!"
Light summoned his gem weapon, a stick. Holo pearls that he summoned before made a battle position. Light decided to attack Fiblorite if he become dangerous.

At first Para wasn't too alarmed, she was certain that this gem meant no harm, but when one of his hands seemed to hack into her systems it became apparent how dangerous this really could be. It didn't end there, and it started to become apparent that these hands were the ones in control here not the gem. The implications of Fibrolite being able to hack her systems was already terrifying, but the display in front of her was disturbing for an entirely reason. It was clear Fibrolite wanted no part of this, or at least he didn't really care to be here.
Before she could say anything however, Light was already on the defensive. She glanced at the weapon systems the hand had taken control of, noting that perhaps hooking them all up to the same controller was a bad idea. There was no way Light could deal with the cluster of lasers and the two swords, "That's enough, both of you stand down!" She hoped that even now Fibrolite (or perhaps it was the hands) would follow her orders and save Light from fighting.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show

*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
