There was only one but REALLY BIG problem. What will happen when Fibrolite will find out that he is actually working for rebels. Pearl was afriad that it would blow poor gem's mind.
Light was quite nervous... really nearvous. However he was a good actor so he tried to hide his emotions. "I and Para will took care of this. Fordge, the place we are in has got a great security system. Noone should hurt you hear, you don't need to be afraid of conflicts."
Hiding Fiblorite in forge and telling him later the true seemed like the safest option. Light felt kinda bad to lie. He had no idea what else could he say or do. It is rare to see magical gem that used to be in glove for thousand of years.
Fibrolite's face changed to one of genuine concern. "That's awful, sorry to hear that such a thing could happen..." He kept his face lowered in silence for a bit before shooting right back up. "Ya know what, I'm sure it will be okay, it shouldn't take too long to take care of that group and then everything can progress normally again." He still didn't have a perfect grasp of the situation, he just figured that it shouldn't be a huge problem so long as the gems who'd gone rogue didn't have much in the way of numbers.
He looked around the room some more, thinking about the things he'd learned. He liked the idea of staying somewhere safe, what with the crazy gems out there trying to stop the colonisation of the planet, but he still didn't know what exactly it was that they even did there. "So, umm, what exactly do you do here anyway?" He wasn't sure if they were actually still serving the Diamonds, due to the situation they were in, but based on the mess he assumed that they had been doing something.

Para nodded, "Yes indeed this place is very safe. The security systems are all of my own design, though there is work to be done. Still, this place is a haven for all who need it such as yourself." In all honesty she wasn't too keen on playing guardian, but it was the kind thing to do after all. Not to mention Fibrolite's reaction to the rebellion was to be expected, the usual loyalist view on their faction.
She glanced around the room, "What we do here is... complicated. In short, we create an arsenal to be used for a military force of sorts. Rather important work, although it is a joint effort. Things would not run nearly as smoothly without Light here."
Fiblorite's thoughts were worring Light. He was acting like a typical homeworld gem. But probably everyone used to be super loyal to creators, the Diamonds. So there was a change that after seeing the beauty of Earth and culture like The Legend of Zelda games and tea he would join the rebelion. That were probably the reasons why Light fell in love with Earth.
Para gave Light a big compliment, even if she didn't plan to do it. It made him blush again, he still didn't get used to compliments. He grabed bis head from behind with one hand "Thank you but that is really nothing special, I am just doing my job. If there was only I this place would be arleady on fire. You are the one who deserve compliments for your hard work."
"So you make material weapons and other similar stuff?" Fibrolite looked around, instantly jumping to many conclusions. "Was this some sort of back up job, after... you know, the colonisation got put on hold?" He started to assume that after the events that halted the planet's colonisation took place, Padparadscha was given the duty of creating weaponry in order to fight the villains responsible, for as long as it would take to stop them.
Fibrolite dropped to his knees, making himself seem much shorter as his legs made up a good portion of his height. Looking up at them both as he spoke. "It's so amazing that you two still find a way to serve homeworld, despite your current situations." He looked up to them now. After whatever it was that ruined the colonisation, they still managed to keep serving homeworld. It was exactly what he wanted to do, but they had actually accomplished it. He hoped, to himself, that he could be like them one day.

"Just doing your job is often what wins wars, remember that. We both do our own part here, and that is what keeps things moving as efficiently as they do." She turned to Fibrolite, "We make far more than just weapons, the only limit to what we can do here is our resources and our imagination."
Para was wondering when this question would finally come up, after all it wasn't exactly usual for a gem of her type to be doing this sort of work. It would almost be like seeing a Sapphire pilot a ship or doing guard work, "That is a long story, but the answer would be yes. My natural skills for creation melded rather well into this profession. As for the current situation..." she grew serious for a moment, "When things become serious I think you will find that one will find a way to persevere for a cause they believe in, despite what it may cost them."
The serious silence held for a moment before she broke it as if it had never started, "Anyways! I imagine you are tired, yes? How about we find you somewhere to rest then you can figure out your next move."
It was kinda weird to see Fiblorite on his knees. He looked much smaller because of that. Also it was rare to see someone do such a thing in front of a Pearl. Earth... the place full of new things everywhere. He was "It is nothing special Fibrolite. I think everyone would do it in our situation." Light needed to think 5 times before saying this sentence or he would call the gem "Handy" again.
Para was acting more serious than usually. Light also wasn't sure what to think about this. He couldn't say that it is false, that is for sure.
Finnaly a break time! Lady Para offered Handy some rest. "I will make some tea!" Pearl realized something "Ohh you don't know what it is? It is a drink! You also don't know what is a drink, do you?" Light took a moment to think about it "It is a fluid that you swallow! It might sound disgusting but it actually isn't that bad."
Fibrolite was surprised to hear that they made more than weapons, peaking his interest as Padparadscha explained that they had few limits to what they created, beyond resources. "Amazing." He then listened closely as the situation was better explained. Believing every word, as it fell perfectly in line with most of his assumptions. Finally, returning to a standing position as Padparadscha spoke of rest. Which, at the moment, sounded incredible. "That sounds great." His body was still pretty tired from earlier, and although it wasn't easy to tell, there was a distinct weakness in the way that Fibrolite got up from standing, and most of his movements in general. He was then caught off guard by Mocha's explanation of tea. "A fluid that you?..." He tried to picture it, but the whole thing just seemed confusing. "What is it's purpose though?" Having to swallow a liquid wasn't very appealing, so it had to have something redeeming to it, some sort of use, otherwise it wouldn't be used by the diamonds. He looked at Pearl, rather confused.

Para began returning to back of the room to continue work on her project, "Yes, it is a sort of difficult thing to explain without simply doing it. Personally I'm not a huge fan of it, aside from this tea Light makes, but I suggest at least giving it a try. It doesn't particularly serve a purpose, it is more of a... distraction. Something done for enjoyment."
She picked up her tools again, "Would you mind showing him around and what not dear? This new design isn't going to install itself and I'm eager to have it up and running." she turned to the frame she had been welding, "It was a pleasure Fibrolite, I'm sure I will be seeing you around. Do make yourself at home."
Light blushed a little when Para said that she likes the tea he makes.
It wasn't a suprise that Fibrolite saw no point in drinking tea. Light had a similar reaction when he first heard about the drinks and food "Like Lady Para said, it has got no purpose for us. Humans need to drink and eat so they won't die. It just taste good."
Gem preapared 3 tea cups and started making a tasty fluid. He handed a cup to Handy and Para. He realized something "Ohhh... ehmm... it will come out of you later but don't worry! You won't die or something! I guess... It never happened to me."
Para wanted Light to show Fibrolite around. "Of course!" Light started to show him around. He started from Para's machines. Forge wasn't a big place so after a while Fiblorite saw everything. "And that is all! Maybe you want to see what is outside!"
(To be honest I think we did what we were suppose to do and I see no point in still making posts here. We could end ths thread and maybe start another OR we could continue this thread but without Para, on the outside. What do you think Handy?)
Fibrolite stared vacantly at the tea, poking his finger in it for about 20 seconds before pulling it out. "It's really hot." He wasn't sure what to do with it, so he just sort of kept it in the cup and made sure it wouldn't spill.
He then watched as Padparadscha went and resumed whatever she had been doing before they showed up. "Thanks again, good luck with whatever it is you're doing."
Next, he followed Pearl around as he showed everything to him. Adjusting wasn't going to be easy. It was going to take a long time to get accustomed to this new place, to Earth. But Fibrolite felt that it wasn't going to be impossible, not by a long shot with all the help he was getting. As far as he was concerned, it seemed like Homeworld had simply gotten a lot less strict, and because of this, and these gem's hospitality, he was going to serve the diamonds once more. For the first time, things were looking good.
He smiled, something that he'd only ever done on this one day, looking over toward Padparadscha and then to Pearl. There was really no way he could repay them for what they'd done, but he was going to try.
Below him, completely out of his view, a hand poked up from the ground. It dipped right back down, going completely unnoticed, but was now free again, as Fibrolite's conversation, the only time limit that bound them, was over now.
njrk97: We still got a few lurkers and people around, but yes its fairly quiet now.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
