Morion watched the holo monitors around him
As far as he could tell, everthing was operational

„Status report my Peridot...”

He politely asked one of the human scientist

„If she will not fly today, she will never Senor M. As far as I know, we managed to repair everything or replace the damaged parts with replacements scavanged from the crash landed ships and from the Kindergartens. The engines are working, shiled are online... tho’ this is an ancient ship, compared to the ones crashed on Earth... „
„It will fly”

Morion nodded

„...and the weapons and shiled will be enough, we are not going to fight. Not yet at least. Every body ready?”
„Yes senor M”
„Si!”
„Aye boss...”
„Hai...”

The humans in the command center reported; everything were ready

„May the Diamonds be with us... start the engines!”

One by one, the old Colony Ship’s, the Derelict’s engines came online; landing claws moved, lights turned to green

„She... is... ALIVEEE!!!”
„Perfect...”

The Smoky Quartz nodded and walked to the throne like command chair and sat down

„Empire City... here we come!”

Slowly the old Colony Ship rised above the ancient jungle, turned and headed to Empire City; Morion’s domain
It was a long journey... but this gave enough time the riporters to preapre; they have set up the cameras and everything, so the time when they reached the City, everything were ready for the big news!
Several of the chanels cenceled their usual program and gave the time to the Smoky Quartz
The reporters counted back

With a nod, they gave the sign to the Assassin
Moiron stood up
He was in his humanoid form, but not Gem "armor"
He was a tall ('Quartz tall^^) Gem (but not bulky like a Jasper or Amethyst, his kind was slender) with long grey hair and silver eyes. It was evident, he was wearing real, human clothes, - black silk suit - Italian with maching shoes - shirt, tie and cane. - it wasn't his projection, since the shirt and vest hided his Gem.
His skin tone was a bit grey...ish, like the smoke, but he could pass as a caucasian man. One hand rested on his cane
He turned to the cameras, while the Colony ship slowly reached the city, its shadow darkened the streets

„People of Empire City! Most of you know me... I am a Gem, a Smoky Quartz, from the Morion variant. The Gem Lord and Protector of Empire City... Today is a historical day my friends... Chip, the young Fire Opal, the Eternal Flame, the Rising Phoenix, your fiery winged protector patrolled the skies over our beloved home, protected the City with me, with our teams against the Crystal Gems, the Rebels and Independents who did nothing just dragged you and your kind in a pointless war... endangered your lifes and homes... we protected you against themand the Monsters, the plague , the scourge that was released on your world thanks to these terrorists! We made Empire City safe! And now... from this day.... our Home will be protected even more!

The Derelict stopped above the M tower, Morion’s skyscraper... his „Spire”

„This day is the first day of a new era! The new era of security and peace! Like a dark guardian Angel, Our ship will be watching over you, protecting you and your children from every harm... „

The Smoky Quartz sat down on his throne like chair

„May the Diamonds be with us all!”

The transmission was then over
But the sky of Empire city was never the same again
[And from now on, they transmitted on every Gem frequency the message to the fleet around Earth and the Moon: This is a Homeworld ship, and Her Majesty's, White Diamond's Grand Inquisitor, his excellency, the exalted Opalite greets every gem who comes to Earth in the name of the Gem empire! ^^]

[Light]

Light came out of the Morion's building with Para. They were his prisoners but Quartz let them go. When Light was closing door he nearly pass out. There was a giant hw ship on the sky. Pearl never was so scared. He never so such a big ship. "Noo no no! It can't be true! I am not ready... we have no change. Rebelion can't end like this." 

Light turned to his friend "Para we need to tell others what is coming! We need to be ready for everything. If we want this planet to survive... we need every member of Crystal gems or we won't win."

Gem looked at the sky "I will fight for every living creature, human culture and others like me. Nothing will stop us."

[Forge Master Para]

The entire way out of Morion's tower Para had been dead silent, unresponsive in every way. She simply plodded along at a sluggish pace, fidgeting with her hands and staring blankly ahead. It wasn't until a good few moments after Light had actually said anything that she looked up at the sky to see... that. Even now she was silent, staring at the ship as if she didn't even register its presence. After all, it was no real surprise to her of all gems. She was at the Moon Base when everything started, she saw the beginnings of this new invasion. The assets of Homeworld were impressive, that was for sure, but she always knew deep down this day would come. But it never did really click the danger something like a warship posed, it was on a scale beyond any soldier or even fusion. All was... hmm?

Her idle stupor was interrupted as she looked over at Light, the little Pearl of all gems, declaring that he would be victories over all just to save this planet and all that was on it. She couldn't help but laugh, not at him but more out of relief than anything, "Heh... hehe... hahaha!" It slowly graduated from a chuckle, to a laugh, and suddenly into tears. She stood there crying for a moment before wiping her cheeks and patting Light's shoulder, "If half of us are as brave as you Light, there's no way we could lose this fight." She gave him a sweet smile and turned to make their way through the city, ignoring the gunshow above them. It was time to get serious.

[Zriphelo (Gaspeite)]

Oh my, oh my, this was incredible.
Gaspeite had been coming back from beach city, straight to the M tower after a good day of training, and what does she see first? The warm and welcoming greatness of the derelict, right above Empire city, she thought at first.
The transmission came through on her screen, it was Morion, having a monologue about the security of Empire City... What a fool! The only thing that his actions are going to bring is just a plain war between every rebellious gem and homeworld, not counting yet the independants that would ally with the Crystal Gems. What is happening just right now was amazing, the Crystal gems are way less powerful, but this is just gonna start a terrible war against the good side, loyal-ish gems, and the bad side, Crystal gems, which even though Gaspeite couldn't withstand seeing a Crystal gem, she did not wish to go on a war, just going because of the casualties.

I need to have a chat with the Smoky Quartz, but how?

Anyhow, the fusion went ahead, walking towards the M building, though she wouldn't not do something else along the way becuase of the flatness of the past couple of days.

[Bloodstone]

Bloodstone had been spending the day fixing up his shack and dojo after doing the training with Gaspeite and the other gems. As he listened to some music, he had some transmission gear set up in case there would be anything from Homeworld. Octi perked up when he saw the footage coming in from Empire City and his jaw dropped when he realized what Morion was doing "You can't be serious..." He remembered Morion showing him the ship before, but he never realized it would actually start working again...much less actually fly it above Empire City and attempt this. "i need to get ready to take care of stuff...this is going to get ugly, if someone doesn't try to keep the peace." He sighed and started gathering up the necessary things for a trip to Empire City

[Sulfur]

Sulfur looked out of the window of his diner it seemed that a ship was flying through the area. He smirked as he realized it was Morion. As he watched the transition he started to consider his fate after the rebellion. He would be moved to an alien planet far from the Diamond's watch, with an injector to create more of his kind. Still, this was by no means going to happen tomorrow.



Now the crystal gems would have no hope at stopping Homeworld, and would be thrown into chaos. Once in chaos the crystal gems would be harder to keep an eye on. Gems who were sympathetic toward the crystal gems such as Chip would not be able to protect their pets. He would be able to shatter as many of them as he pleased. The only thing about this that bothered him was that... it was going to be too easy.

[Blue Quartz]

Throughout the city blue simply looked around at the meaningless humans, she would be "sun bathing" on top of a tall tower when her relaxing would be disrupted by a shadowy figure, as her eye was closed and her hair dangled over her eye, she would move it with her right hand while narrowing it seeing a giant ship hover over the city. It was the gem known as Morion aka Smoky Quartz, a transmission could be heard in which then she would start to chuckle a bit towards herself. Pressing on her scanner she would scan  the ship and lift herself up from the plat form, Blue would then feel as if war was about to commence vey soon in which then she would have her hands behind her back while saying," I feel an end to the crystal gem sis very near...hehehe.." she'd say softly in her sapphire like tone.


Blue would then pounce while front flipping off the building, as she was falling she would close her eye letting the wind flow through her hair, she would then plant her foot on to the ground while staring off into the distant city ignoring the ship now as she heard all she needed for now.

[Howlite]

Howlite was taking a stroll in Empire city when the ship came. He saw it cover the city and he laughed hysterically. "They're here." Howlite stared at it with a smile. "Time to round up the others." He made his way into Sulfur's diner. "Hey boss! You see the ship outside?"
Howlite knew that things just got a whole lot more fun and exciting. "What're your orders boss?" He hoped Sulfur would choose to fight but if not he'd be OK. Sulfur always said that whenever he made a decision it was always for our safety.

[Sulfur]

Sulfur turned to see Howlite stoll into his diner. He turned to Howlite and grinned.

"Of course, it seems that Homeworld is finally taking this city for good. I won't have to see that stupid pearl or any rebel for that matter in my favorite city any longer." Sulfur chuckled. "Then also, I won't be tempted to shatter a rebel that is infatuated with a certain fire opal in this city."

He rolled his eyes.

"We won't fight them, if you know they are our allies. That is Smoky Quartz up there is it not?" Sulfur gestured toward the ship. "I saw you coming, your drink is on table 5, also if you're worried about your missing ship your collection has been moved to the kitchen. You can go back there to check."

[Howlite]

"I'm sorry... What about my collection?" He ran into the kitchen. He started looking at everything. If even a single shard or head was missing he was gonna be furious. He sighed in relief once he saw everything was there. He went back to Sulfur. "OK it's all there. So long as Smoky Quartz doesn't find my table on my ship we should be OK. And I know he's in that ship. But I really hate him right now. Thinks he can just take my ship without asking. How would he like it if I took his home away? Wouldn't feel too good would it? The nerve of that gem."

[Sulfur]

"Table?" Sulfur asked, his eyes widening. "Oh nevermind that! you will be entirely fine, what I offer you soon will be even better than a Ship! You will laugh at the idea of having a ship, a castle is much better anyway. You will have several large rooms, devoted to you! As large as ten ships-maybe."

Sulfur watched the large colony ship pass overhead.

"If you are not reckless you will not have to worry about the Smoky Quartz. He is quite the fine gem if you can convince him that you mean him no harm." Sulfur said, smiling. He then rubbed his arm as if it still hurt. "Which is... rather hard to do if you have the ability to invade peoples minds through dreams and a magic artifact..."

[Howlite]

"OK. I trust your judgement." He then began to think about what that ship meant for him. Considering his last encounter with Morion he'd probably be unable to return here. He couldn't risk getting poofed again just because he possesses a problem with authority. "So is he still mad at me for disrespecting him? I mean sure I could've handled that a little better had I known how to behave around him. You know something? In the limousine I started to think you were pulling my chain. The idea that someone could poof you seemed impossible. Then when I met him... I definitely didn't think he could've done that to you."

[Chyrsocolla]

Melody sensed something was...off. She had been working at the Lunar Sea Spire for months now, trying to repair it and fix it up to its old, pristine condition. While taking a break, she heard a transmission coming in from...Empire City? "What the heck...?" The Chrysocolla ran up and opened up a screen, showing a message being broadcast by Morion..the Smoky Quartz. "Oh my...this is an interesting development..perhaps it's time I take a break from working for so long." Melody sighed as she closed the screen, having seen enough to know what was happening. She quickly gathered up her guitar and ran towards the warp pad, hoping that she could make it to the city in time for...well...whatever was needed of her

[Variscite]

It had been almost a whole year since Variscite had gotten out and really did anything notable. The amount of new gems flowing into the City was making him feel.... unconfutable. He could remember when it was really just him and his friends. Carbonado, Amber... Hemi, Cit.... more then a few more and almost all had vanished or been shattered. The last thing he really remembered doing, short of making a friend with a four armed gem, he had spoke with the Crystal Gem Leader, Meta while in the temple.

Varis was standing outside of a electronic shop that held TVs in the window, broadcasting this Homeworld ship filling the sky over Empire City. The speech of this other gem coming from the speakers. The tan hued gem stood still before the glass, his reflection semi-visible. His green hoodie unzipped, black shirt under, tan cargo shorts and some black and white sneakers. Upon the back of his hoody... a lare Crystal Gem star was blazed onto the hoodie.

"Ugh.... I guess its time I step in.... No more running..."

The gem turned and started walking down the street... ready to start getting back into the game... he will need to get in contact with other Crystal Gems... Where was Meta..

[Grand Inquisitor, Mr. O]

Empire City... while most knew it for its bright and shiny colors, the neon lights that filled the city streets. Humans going about all seeming caught up in their own business, that is... until the show began!

The massive gem dreadnaught had loomed over the city, humans everywhere stopping and gawking before the gem ship above them. Oddly enough at the top of one of the basic sky scrapers that didn't quiet reach as high as M tower, had an unknown guest waiting and watching as the show unfolds. On another plane of reality just a hair away of being within the material dimension, stood a tall figure whos blazing eyes were observing the whole ordeal.

"My, my! It seems Morion has been quiet the busy gem! Oh-hohoho! How wonderful! I guess its time we have another little meeting, heheheh!" The voice speaking out from the void of non-reality, blue energy bluring around where the figure would stand for just a moment, less then a blink of an eye and he had appeared on the building. Tall figure in a black and white tux... White Diamond symbols decorating his tux coat. With the swing of his cane O started to walk off of the ledge of the building only to vanish again... he had a new objective he would like to see been done... one that involves him finding Morion once again...
